Not possible to delete link investment program position from Appropriation request

Dear specialists,
We have a problem with deleting a linked investment program position in an appropriation request (IMA3, IMA11 or IMA12).
We could edit some of the appr.req.'s but a few give an error.
Steps done:
We deleted the status BUDG from the linked projects (budgets deleted and OPSX for deletion of status).
The we run the IM27_repeat.
For the most of the appr.req.'s the linke was removed (table IMZO).
For a few of our req.'s the link is not removed so that we can't link the new progr.pos. to this appr.req.

Please check Customizing of the investment program type under 'assignable operative objects' in t-code OIT3 or in following path
SPRO --> Investment Management --> Investment Programs --> Master Data --> Define Program Types
Also check in following SAP note

Validation on Investment program position

Dear All,
In current configuration, a WBS element of a project is linked to an Investment program position.
When saving reservations for materials, Can we do a validation for WBS element specified in the Proc. Param of a material and the Investment program position.
Please let me know whether this can be achieved without a customization.

EPMA - It is not possible to delete an application in a "Migrate Pending"

Hi,
on EPMA, as stated on Oracle Documentation that until 11.1.2.1 version, there's known bugs on EPMA:
10278796, 10297577: It is not possible to delete an application in a "Migrate Pending" status.
Now what if I had application in a migrate pending status?
Does anybody have the solutions on this? I mean, how to deceive this so I would be able to do deletion on that application?

We've had the same problem for couple of years now. It's quite unbelievable that there's no solution for this. You can search for "Migrate pending" in this document:

It's a known issue, but at least best to my knowledge, there's no answer for it. It's embarrassing that if an application duplication goes wrong (for some reason, for us it sometimes just stops at 0%), you cannot delete it. Then you explain your customers, that ok, please renew all your SmartView connections to the new application that you've managed to create.

There are some BAPI's to create Orders but I can't find a BAPI for that.

Do you mean is it possible to destroy your system from the Terminal? Anyone that has spend long enough working with Unix from a command line knows that answer. Yes! And a painful lesson it has been for many of us.
The real question is, what is your goal?
If you just want to erase lots of files, then the 'rm' command is available. Once all the files are erased, the rm command will be one of them, and so that is the end of the game. You will not be able to execute any more commands. The file system is still there, and the data in all those files is still on the disk, you have just eliminated the easy way to access that data (via file names).
If you want to initialize a new file system on the disk, you could most likely do that (diskutil - it will be the last command you run from the terminal, but you could most likely do it). Again, the data is still there, but the file system structure that held all the names and allocation information has been eliminated.
If you want to securely erase the disk, that is also possible (diskutil), and again, that will be the last command you will run from the terminal. Now nothing is left behind, neither data nor file system structure.
What sort of command would/could allow this?
rm and diskutil come to mind (in combination with sudo).
You could also just boot from the installation DVD, and then from the Menu select the Disk Utility and erase the disk as well as give it a new file system. And since you are running from the OS stored on the DVD, you can do other things after the Disk Utility is finished.

For FREE do the following:
When you get to othe part of the video you want a still shot from, put the video on pause.
Take a screen shot: Apple>Shift>4 - which will produce a cross hair so you can manually select which part of the video you want.Check inside either your Applications or Utility folder for an app called Grab. Will do the above with just a single click.
If you still want to purchase software, suggest that you do a Google & MacUpdate search. This way, you can find exactly what you want.

Assign Investment program Position for IW31 through exit/BADI

Hi
My requirement is, I've to assign investment program details to Maintainence order (IW31) in creation mode through enhancement. I am able to do so in change mode using the FM "AIPP_ALLOCATE_POSITION_DARK", but when I use the same FM in creation mode it is throughing "Update Termination " error.
Please let me know is there any BADI/User Exit/Enhancement Point to achieve the same.

Sales Office is not possible to delete in a service contract

I have set up a Service Desk solution for VAR's which worked fine for the first tests.
I then created a new contract for a new customer.
In CRMD_ORDER was the first contract set up with the following values under the tab Organisation:
Organizational Unit      DK SALES     DK Sales
    Sales Organization   DK SALES     DK Sales
    Distribution Channel 01           Distribution channel 01
    Sales Office
    Sales Group
Organizational Unit      AV DK        Application Management DK
    Service Organization Gavdi Support Gavdi Support organisation
I then created a new contract which I could not get to default and then I noticed that the Sales Office field was automatically filled, so the data looks like this:
Organizational Unit      DK SALES     DK Sales
    Sales Organization   DK SALES     DK Sales
    Distribution Channel 01           Distribution channel 01
    Sales Office         DK SALES     DK Sales
    Sales Group
Organizational Unit      AV DK        Application Management DK
    Service Organization GavdiSupport Gavdi Support organisation
The problem in short is that I am now not able to delete the value in Sales Office again.
In other words, when I delete the text does the line look like this:
    Sales Office ___________   DK Sales
And when I save or press enter etc. is the field refieled with the value.
I am then no longer able to find my product with the F4 help or manualy in the "Item details" tab in CRMD_ORDER.
So I guess that I need to do some changes on my product to be able to find it or remove this value.
The product is created with Sales organisation = DK Sales and Distriputions channel = Distribution channel 01.
This is preventing my contract determination to happen.
Any help is very vecome as I am expected to go live with this monday next week..!

Cannot delete e-mail account on iphone, profiles were deleted but still not possible to delete account

I am not able to delete e-mail accounts on my iphone. I deleted the profiles but I still cannot delete the account. In settings-general the profiles are not there anymore.

and I was able to delete the profiles successfully, but I still can't delete the account. I'll have to go to the store tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

Is it possible to delete one of many attachments from an email

Hi everyone.
I'm wondering if it's possible to delete a specific attachment from an email message I receive. The mail help topics say:
+To delete an attachment:+
+To delete all the attachments in a message, choose Message > Remove Attachments.+
+The message remains in the mailbox, with a notation that the attachments were manually removed.+
+To delete a specific attachment, select it in the message and choose Edit > Delete or press the Delete key.+
+Mail will not delete an attachment that you have edited or saved.+
I tried the suggested method for deleting a specific attachment but it deletes the entire message, not the specified attachment. Am I missing something, is this a bug, or is the documentation wrong?

I had no doubt it worked the same way insofar as deleting the message rather than a single attachment -- my objective was more that Mail Help would not say it worked. When the feature to remove attachments was added, it was only added to allow removal of all attachments, and was not selective. I had verified that Mail Help in Tiger did no claim otherwise, and now I have verified that neither does Mail Help in Leopard.
It is my contention that only the Mail Help in Mail 4.x is incorrect, and that there has not been an intent of a change of feature to match the way the documentation is written. I may agree that nothing should be deleted with this attempt to remove a single attachment, but not with the expectation that it should work as documented. This is because when removal of all attachments takes place, via the command in Message/Remove Attachments, the process is to create a new message copy without the attachments, and the new message is given a new xxxx.emlx filename, and the original is deleted. In other words a reindexing takes place. I would not expect that same process to be triggered merely by use of the Delete key. If that were the case, then that would be the main path to removing attachments, in my opinion.

Not possible to setup icloud email filter rules from ipad

Users on ipads with icloud for email appear to have no way to set or edit their email filter rules, as this functionality is not provided via any mail app menu, and attempts login and edit these via webmail is not possible since Apple has set icloud.com to intercept and disallow ipad web browser logins. Is there a workaround or do we just direct people over to gmail?

No, there is no workaround available. Unfortunately, you would have to use a PC or Mac in order to sign in to the web portal www.cloud.com.
