Not receiving all my email in icloud since mobileMe

Strange but icloud does not receive all of my mac.com emails. Some do arrive but others do not. The reliability is a problem as people are wondering why I have not replied. I do not have push notification checked and according to icloud should be receiving my me.com  mac.com and icloud.com emails. That is not happening. Turns out that my older MacPro Quad computer is receiving my emails so I am still getting them when I return home. My iphone and ipad are not. What is happening? I tried to cancel junk mail filtering on my imac and then lost most of my emails on that computer so I am afraid to change anything on my Mac Pro.

I have 2 email accounts, 1 from home and the 2nd from my work which was set up by me recently, I am not always receiving my mail from my work account & once I do and look at it the mail is being removed from the inbox

In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account.  The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

  • Style not receiving all email messages

I recently changed mail-servers. Neither the current nor the previous mail server are in house. We route our in-house email through MS Exchange Server. We do not run BB Enterprise Server so I have set up my BB Style to go directly to the external mail server. I am using MS Outlook 2010 on my desktop computer.
My BB Style is not receiving all the emails coming to me. Some emails come through our MS Exchange Server but not to my BB. Other emails are received both on my device and desktop.
Any ideas why this is happening.

Referring back to Post 2 in this thread -- if your email server (the one facing the Internet, with which BIS interacts) is capable of reconciling with the BB (via BIS) items deleted on the server, then you have no choice in the matter, given what you've now been told.
If you absolutely must retain all items on your BB, then you would I suppose need to set up an auto forwarder that sends everything you receive in your Outlook client out to a different email address. Then you integrate that to your BB so that you can keep that library of items on your BB. You, of course, cannot use those items for any useful purpose (e.g., if you reply, it'll be coming from this secondary email address), but at least you'd have them on your BB.
What your IT person told you is, however, quite unusual indeed. MS Exchange is intended to be a post office and mailbox containing entity, and has a ton of other power as well. I've never actually heard before of anyone using it in this manner, requiring that the client app remove items from the server (encouragement is always in place, via mailbox size quotas and such...but the requirement is rather unusual in my experience). That requirement would seem to make your MS Exchange environment function much more like a POP/SMTP environment, negating all of the power of MS Exchange, and thereby causing me to think that you are not getting the value from that environment that it offers. But, to each his own!
    Good luck!

  • Not receiving all email to primary Apple ID address since the creation of an alias

Not receiving all email to primary Apple ID address since the creation of an alias

All email sent to your iCloud email alias address should be received in your iCloud inbox.  If email is being addressed to your alias when you think it should be addressed to your primary address it may be because the sender replied to an email you inadvertently sent from your alias address.  You might want to confirm that your primary address is set as your default for sending mail.  See "set default address to send from" here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a490a.

  • My blackberry 8900 is not receiving all of my personal emails

i set up my personal email account on my blackberry, it is my college email address. And i am not receiving all of the emails on my phone, i only receive some of them. I only found out when i was only getting one to two emails a day on my phone and logged into my email account on my computer and it showed like 10 emails that i did not receive on my phone. is anyone else having this problem or does anyone know how to fix this problem so that i receive all emails that come to my persona email?

I'm not receiving all of my email either. In fact, I've only received one message since I bought it about two weeks ago. When I first synced it transferred all of my mail and added my email accounts (one register.com POP that is enabled and one IMAP that is disabled.) About a week later I received one email message on my iPhone (while not on WIFI) and none since then - regardless of whether or not I'm logged in at home (using Outlook on Vista.) It seems to successfully log in and check for mail, but always comes out thinking it's up to date.

  • .Mac account not receiving all emails

I am not receiving all emails to my main .Mac account. I do receive emails and would never known there was a problem until people started calling to find out why I haven't responded. I have a main .Mac account and two alias accounts, but the address that the emails are being sent to are my main account. Any ideas?

The junk mailbox is empty. I checked my preferences and disabled it for now to see if that will make a difference. I do have some Rules set up to filter known "sales" emails to delete or change the color but I have not set up any rules to move or filter from friends.

I have looked at the other posts about duplicate emails but none seem to answer my problem
Recently I have started getting duplicate emails in my Outlook inbox, even if I have read them in Outlook. I have also noticed I am not receiving all emails, including the one from BTcommunity asking for verification of email to acces this forum. I only use BY Yahoo on line to check and delete spam and do not read email online at BTYahoo.
I have not, as far as I am aware, changed any of the settings in Outlook or on BTYahoo.
The Bt help screen swere less than helpful as my BTyahoo pages do not seem to have the options they suggest.
Another concern is the repeated downloading to outlook of the same emails will increase my braodband usage.

    Hi. Welcome to the forums.
Although receiving emails in Outlook will increase the usage, emails are generally very small - unless they all contain large attachments.
Duplicate emails received in your case as described is generally down to an email fetch process from Outlook (or any mail client program) failing to complete the download, and hence an index into the received emails is not updated. When checking for emails again, it gets the same emails it had before until it properly finishes the fetch.
There are a few reasons this can occur including communications failure, but also stuck emails can cause it to happen, possibly Outlook checking for emails at the exact same moment you are say deleting  spam via webmail at BTYahoo.
I assume you've checked the online spam folder in case various emails are ending up there, as opposed to just deleting the spam from the online Inbox.

  • I'm not receiving the AppleId email when I hit Forgot my password, how do I fix this?

I can’t recall my password for a different iTunes Id and I’ve went to AppleId.apple.com, pressed the ‘forgot your password’ button, it brought me to a new page with my email, I’ve made sure that I was my email, I hit Email authentication, and then it brings me to a page that says: “ Email has been sent”, but I’m not receiving any email in my Gmail account. I’ve made sure that I have no filters for Apple or iTunes and checked my Spam, and Trash folders and I see nothing.

    Hi CoalBeans,
Welcome to the Support Communities!  The resource below explains what to do if you do not receive the verification email for your Apple ID.
If you didn't receive your verification or reset email - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201455
When you make certain updates to your Apple ID, we’ll send you an email to help you complete the update. For example, you might have reset your password, reset your security questions, or added a new email address to your account. If you can't find the email after we send it, these steps can help.
    Search for the email
We'll send the email from "Apple," so you can quickly search for it. If it isn't in your inbox, check your folders. If a spam filter or email rule moved the email, it might be in the Spam, Junk, Trash, Deleted Items, or Archive folder.
Make sure you're checking the correct email account
If you're looking for a password reset email, make sure you're checking the correct email inbox. It will either be your primary Apple ID email address or a separate rescue email address that you added to your account.
If you're looking for a verification email, you can sign in to My Apple ID and review all the email addresses you have on file, including the one that you're trying to verify. If the email address is incorrect, you can update it and send another verification email.
    Resend the email
To resend a reset email, repeat the steps to reset your password or security questions, and we'll send an email to your rescue or primary Apple ID email address.
To resend the verification email, go to My Apple ID, select Manage your Apple ID, then sign in. Click Resend next to the email address that you want to verify, and we'll send an email to that address.
Make sure that you're getting email
If you're not getting any email, you might need to contact your email service provider for help. You can also use these steps to get help receiving email at OS X Mail or an iCloud email address.
    Contact us
Go to System Status and see if Apple ID is available. If you still can't find the reset email or verification email, contact Apple Support.

  • Why am I not receiving the recovery email for my apple ID?

I could not remember my password for my Apple ID, so I used the iForgot feature and requested a recovery email to reset my password. I've done about 5 times and it keeps saying that the email was sent but I'm not getting any emails??
(And yes, I've checked all my email accounts, and the Spam folders as well--nothing from Apple regarding the password reset is there.)

    Hello, eshara_a.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I understand that your Apple ID needs to be reset, but you are not receiving the recovery email.  Since the spam folder has been checked, I would recommend seeing the section labeled Get Help in the article below.
If these steps didn't help you change your password, contact Apple Support.

Check your junk or spam mail folder.  Also, if you established a rescue email, it could be going to that email address.  If all else fails:

  • I am not receiving the verification email when trying to add an email account

I am not receiving the verification email when trying to add an email account to facetime and iMessage. Is there something else I can do?

    Hi,
I don't ever remember getting an email when Adding an account.
Apple seems to verify it some other way (a self test to see if it is valid ? an actual email ?)
I tried adding an older @mac.com account that is not a valid email (gained when MobileMe was the Apple service and the @Mac.com registration was used for iChat names).
I then tried  to add a Yahoo one.
This got past the first part and said an email has been sent.
As you say this has never arrived.
( checked the web Site for Yahoo Mail as well as my Mail App.)
In each case I also checked the Spam and Junk folders in both places.
I then tried an iCloud ID.
(FaceTime seems to treat the Original Apple ID and the iCloud issued email as separate IDs)
I did not get and email (Although it said it was sent) I did get a Pop up for the FaceTime app asking if I wanted to add an email and a second for the actual email itself.  (It turned out it added an @me.com email also issued by iCloud before the @icloud.com was issued.
This is much the way iMessages adds emails when you add the emails to  an iPhone, the Mac version gets pop ups.
I recently had something similar in Messages that might be related.
In Messages 7 (Mountain Lion) it seemed it could be any Apple ID that was used.
In Messages 8 it seems this has to be an iCloud linked one.
The @mac.com one I used above could not be added to iMessages either when I tried it about two months ago.
It might be one I have removed the creating/Recovery email so that i could create another Apple ID.
The name continues to work in Messages as an AIM valid screen name but I could not add it as the iMessages account and got sent to iCloud to "register" it but ran into problems that I have not sorted out yet.
    EDIT.
Checked the Apple ID site and the @mac.com email I used has no linked Alternative/recovery email.

  • Why am I not receiving ALL my e-mail in Ipad. I get it on PC and blackberry

why am i not receiving all my e-mails on ipad2? I get them on my blackerry and on my pc.

I believe most PC mail programs by default are set to delete messages from the server once they are downloaded onto the PC.  So if you access your email on your PC before your iPad checks for email some messages won't be there. To minimize this make sure you have Push set to on and Fetch set a short time limit (not Manual).

  • I'm not receiving all of my iMessages?

    Hello everyone!
I've ran into some trouble with iMessage. This isn't the first time and I doubt it will be the last. I've heard a lot of people have been experiencing problems with the IOS 7 update, so hopefully I'm not alone. I'm not receiving all of the iMessages that are sent to me by other iPhone users. According to them, the little grey "delivered" stamp appears underneath their message and as far as they know it's been sent and I'm just ignoring them. I missed out on a party that I would've really liked to go to and no one at Apple Tech can make up for that. As I previously mentioned, this has happened before but it was easily remedied by switching iMessage off and then activating it again. I've tried that again, to no avail. I also removed my Apple IDs from my other Apple products, took my email off of the send and receive list, and reset my network settings. I spoke to someone at Apple's Support Chat who offered little to no insight.
I'm about to turn off iMessage for good. Any suggestions before pulling the plug?
