Not receiving email notifications

I don't understand why I don't get copied on email notifications. I was shared a file as a collaborator but I am not receiving them, but he still is.

You need to go to the Options tab (Notification section) and turn them on for yourself. Each person controls their own notifications.

Not receiving email notifications of iCal event invitations from other parties.

I am not receiving emails for iCal event invitations from other parties, but the invitations ARE in my iCal Inbox. I don't use iCal often, so I never proactively go in to check my Inbox there, but rather have always depended on receiving the email notification of an event invite to know to add it to my iCal. I can SEND invitations to others successfully with other parties receiving MY email notifications, I'm just not receiving them via email.
I've now missed two very important meetings because I never received the email invitations to add an event, which were the only forms of correspondence for both. Can anyone help me? Thank you!

i am not recieving email notifications for the threads watched. my email address is [email protected] also can i change my email address to [email protected]

No email notifications for me since august 4th. Checked my junk mail settings. Still no notifications.

Not receiving email notifications for content I'm following

A couple of days ago, I wrote a question about email notifications and now I understand them. I've been replying to a lot of questions but have recently noticed that I'm not receiving notifications when someone replies to my posts. When I ask questions I get notifications when somebody has written a reply but don't get notifications when somebody replies to my answer. I have email notifications turned on.
Help would be much appreciated.

Niel replies as if it is happening to him too - as it is to me - 16 days is on the money. I have an active AppleCare trouble ticket passed to the Community Hosts who have given it their own ticket number - I have reported all that I learn or observe to them.
The workaround in the meantime is this WorkFlow:
Click Reply
scroll to the top of the thread - you will notice that the check mark is "Follow" - it used to be Following after the progress bar finished 'posting' the reply
Click the check mark or the word Follow
Click Following
Click Follow - this should leave the state of the tool as "Following"
You are now TRULY Following the thread and will receive email notices as before.
This only happens to some AppleIDs, so apparently the Hosts/Technicians are having a hard time finding the "insect-like" anomaly

I am sending appointments to via iCal to another mac user. He has received them, accepted them, but I am not receiving confirmation of his acceptance. Hmmm

It is a good idea to include the machine type and OS version in your problem posts.
Get him to check the email address that your invitattions are coming from. Does it correspond to one you are using? Can he email you at that address?

Not receiving email notifications for 30 minutes

My phone did some software update and wiped out my phone. I have since reset everything however having problems with my POP e-mail, which is AOL. When it gets an e-mail, the phone does not say so for at least 30 minutes. If at home have to keep my phone on and logged in to my e-mail so I can see when I get an email because the phone is not telling me right away.
From the phone, I go to my mail box and the hit menu --> more --> settings --> send and receive. It's set up like this:
Mail size limit: no limit
Set download frequency: every 5 minutes.
**When I click on set download frequency it's set like this:
          Peak time days: every day
          Peak time start 6:00 am
          Peak time end 11:59 pm
          Frequency: Peak times every 5 minutes
          Off Peak times every 5 minutes
Dowload options: Bt days: Today's
Just now I received an email at 10:55 am howvere the phone did not tell me until 11:35 a.m.
Please help! And use simple terms and directions, please!

i know the importance of receiving emails in a timely manner to the device. I went through the details on the HTC Incredible and found that the additional POP3 email accounts aren't visible through Accounts & Sync. They're only available on the option for Mail as you described you're following. There are two additional settings we need to check in the device. Please go to Settings -> Accounts & Sync and verify both Background data and Auto-sync are checked on. These ensure the device is set to allow the sync to be working properly. I also suggest you confirm there aren't any battery management or task killer apps installed. These may prevent the full function of syncing and would need to be completely removed from the Google account to stop the impact. Please update us on these settings and apps.

I am sending email notifications to the users using workflow. The notifications are taking time to deliver to the users.
can anyone please telll me why notifications are getting delayed and what should be done to reduce the time?

Not Receiving Email Notifications via Hyperion Workflow Process

Hi All,
Configuring SMTP for workflow process in Hyperion planning.
I did the following steps for the above process.
1--> I checked whether SMTP server is running or not using Telnet command in the machine where the application is running-->*[Its working fine]*
2-->Then I logged in to planning application with admin credentials and set the Email server details as follows
2.a) *[Planning-->Administration-->Application-->Settings-->I entered the Email server details]*
2.b) *[Planning-->File-->Preferences-->Planning-->I mentioned the Email address for administrator]*
3--> I created several users using shared services console and I set the security Access type as Descendents Inclusive for each and every dimensions.
4--> I set the Email address for every users which are created in the above step *[Planning-->File-->Preferences-->Planning]*
5--> I created a Planning unit Hierarchy.
6-->I logged as a Planner and I entered the budget in the Data form .
7-->I promoted this budget to the Higher official for verification process.
8-->But I didn't get the status mail for the above process.
Kindly guide me whether I am following the right procedure to config SMTP in my application.
How to get the status of the notification mail through relational tables.
Kindly mention the location of log files regarding this issue.
Please guide me to overcome this issue.

Anonymous in the sense that you mean like Unauthenticated connection. Yes my mail server is unauthenticated server, hence it doesn't require any username and password.

Not receiving email notifications of calendar invites any more - why?

Invitations are just suddenly appearing in the calendar with no notifications - always used to get an email with the invite and now don't. This just started 2 days ago.

Who is your email provider?
Also if you check your email on the web or computer - do the invites appear there?

ITunes not sending email notifications to iTunes and App Store gifts recipients

I sent several iTunes and App Store gifts from my Apple ID... I set the date to be sent of Dec 25. The gift recipients have not received email notifications about their gifts. I went into my iTunes account and resent the gift, but the people I sent gifts to are still not getting emails from iTunes. However I got the iTunes email informing me my credit card had been charged.

I'm having this issue as well. I was really hoping to surprise people on Christmas Day, really disappointed right now., doesn't look like anyone has got an email about the apps I gifted them.

iCloud was experiencing problems with this a couple of days ago, where many users with shared calendars were getting email notifications even though their iCloud settings did not select to receive them. Perhaps when they fixed this problem it reverted your settings to not receive email notifications. Got to iCloud and check your setting for this. If it still look correct, try turning off email notifications, save the change, then turn them back on again and save the change again.

User Group is not receiving email Sharepoint 2013 & Nintex workflow

Hi I created circular workflow using nintex and sharepoint 2013 , now problem occur that User group did not receive email notification through web portal , sending individual email address working fine but user group is not receiving
any email, not a single group is working now , to clear we used same workflow since last two years and all group received email earlier but now we are facing this issue since last 3 weeks. to resolve this we create new test groups and test but enable
to send.

Has anyone stopped receiving email notifications on posts?

I just noticed this morning that I am not receiving email notifications on certain posts starting sometime yesterday. I checked the posts in question and under 'Actions' in the upper right hand panel 'Stop Email Notifications' is showing as the option, so I should be receiving email updates.
Anyone else experiencing missing notifications?

I figured it out, my email account was gmail set to imap, when you setup imap as well as automatic retrieval the phone downloads your entire inbox, so if you have thousands of messages in your inbox like I did, the phone gets overwhelmed and stops displaying notifications on the main screen. When the went on and archived all my old mail on gmail, the problem was gone.
