Not recieving calls or texts on my iphone. Just noticed this about 4 hrs ago. Help!
I just noticed that I am not receiving calls or texts on my iphone. I am able to call out and receive voice mail.. I tried turning it off and back on, and also took out the SIM card and replaced it. Still not working. Any suggestions?

Wow! I hope the weather is great where you're at and not affecting your phones! That sure is a problem that you are having. Let's see if we can get it fixed.
Now, are you not getting ALL calls or is it just some? Is this mainly indoors? Signal strength may vary indoors just based on the building and sometimes the call will not be able to find your phone and result in a simple voicemail notification. Also, have you made sure like Ann154 stated that your phones are programed correctly? What happens on the one device when you try and make a call? Do you get an error or any error when send/receiving a text? Let us know!

My phone just started doing this, it just says searching instead of showing bars. Cannot make or recieve calls or texts.
I have reset the network settings and the phone itself. I have called the *228 and it said it reprogramed my phone. walked away from my phone and it found service again for like 2 minutes and then went back to searching. This is pathetic, I basically have a touch now. I have hear several people have had this problem and it seems even after the phone is replaced they still have the problem. I can't belive you can spend this much on a phone to have it not work. Any resolve to this problem coming?I have first a question. When it states to activate a phone press 1, did you do it? If not try it.
The second thing I would recommend is to simply change the phone number either online through my Verizon web portal or call customer service and have them change your number.
Then wait about 20 minutes and see if the problem has gone away.
Since the micro Sim is only good for overseas unlocked use; I believe a *228 send and select option 1 will set up your device on the Verizon network. You may just try doing that without changing your phone . Hey give it a try what can it hurt?

I can not make or recieve calls or texts
I have had an EE contract for almost a year now, I can use Imessage and FaceTime but I can not make calls or texts and I can not recieve them. I have called EE and they haven't helped, I have signal and 3G but the 3G barely works. Does anyone know what I can do?

I can't recieve calls or texts but i can still make them myself
I recently updated my iphone 4 with the new ios 7, at first it was working okay, until yesterday. I had another update for bug fixes for the ios 7 and updated my phone again and since then i havent been able to recieve calls or text messgaes but i have no problem sending texts myself or making calls myself.
I have pretty much full signal where i am so dont understand whats going on!
Anyone had a problem like this before and think they can help?I think you have to restore it but choose to restore with iTunes NOT with iCloud or restore as new! You must back up first and synch with iTunes for not loosing any apps,pics,contacts etc!

I updated my iphone 4 with ios 7.1.1 and now there is no sound with any text, any mail, application updates, no vibre call sound....its just vibrate i checked all settings plz help
i have the same problem.and i found out, if my iphone vibrates,there is a new message, but its not shown.
if i restart my iphone after these vibrations, the new messages appear.very strange.

I accepted an IOS update on my phone this morning, now it keep flashing the apple logo intermittently and i can't access my phone at all. I can't make or recieve calls or texts at all. What do i do to rectify this please?
You should really read the manual.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer. -
Updated to ios 6, used "sprint fix" because i couldn't send or reciever calls or texts. Now I can't receive. Thoughts?
same problem, all messages coverted to texts, people are not receiving some texts of mine or vice versa... in fandango, tried to set up notifications to my phone number, says i have to enter a valid number... Apple needs to fix ASAP!

Our phones are NOT recieving calls
Noticed it this morning that our cell phones were not recieving calls from anyone. Text messages, data, and out going calls all work normally. I called tech support they tried and couldn't get it to work. I went to the local Verizon store and they tested it and could not get it to work either. My wifes cell phone is doing this also. I have a Motorola Droid Razr and she has the Samsung Charge. Any ideas?

does not let me add text to my verizon website. This adding text feature works well on internet explorer. I can click on add text, the box opens up but I can not type in the box for some unknown reason. What can be done to correct this problem ...

I can only guess about the reason... Firefox works with many websites' "rich text" editors, but ones that haven't been updated for five years may assume that Firefox is the old Netscape browser and use scripting techniques that don't work in Firefox.
If Verizon has a different "basic" or HTML editor that you can tolerate using, you could try that. It might not be subject to the same incompatibilities.
If I someday get a Verizon account, I will surely be looking into this further, but for now, it's hard to suggest anything else. -

i got an itunes giftcard for my birthday and when i tried to add it on my balance on my ipod touch it says the code you entered is not recognized as a valid code. but i just got this card brand new for my birthday.
Make sure you're using the correct code. For most iTunes cards, the code is under the scratchoff area on the back of the card. For more information, see this support article:

Resolved!
After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

HELP!!!!!! I'm trying to download a few game/apps on my iPad and it's just saying waiting and not budging????? Anyone know what this might be? Please help me!!!
Although having it loading 5 at a time is not ideal, the iPad is more than capable of doing it, it merely pauses those after the first requested. It will install one at a time then go to the next, installing one at a time rather than trying to do a group like this shouldn't yield any great benefit.
Also don't forget that some apps are hundreds of MB in size so depending on your internet connection will just take a lot longer to download than those which are only 1 or 2 MB in size.
I only have a 0.8MB broadband connection when it's at it's fastest so am used to checking the sizes of apps before downloading, it's very frustrating when you forget and hit download only to spend the next 30 mins or so watching a blue progress bar creep across te 10 mm of icon space!!

Using FAT files system with External HDD in SL
