Not running the latest System Font versions
I have been comparing the Version numbers of the System Fonts on my iMac and the numbers giving on the Apple support page. Seems like my Mac is not running the latest versions even though I have always updated to the latest versions of OS X. Should I be worried?
I have reinstalled the System Fonts from the DVD that came with my Mac with Pacifist and installed the 10.5.7 Combo Update but it's still the same.
Any other ideas on how I can update the fonts to the latest versions?
Yes, for examle it says Version 6.0d7e1 for Courier.dfont on that page.
In my System Library it is version 5.1d1e1 for Courier.dfont
Indeed, your version is the one used in Tiger. I don't know how you could wind up with that one rather than the Leopard version.
The quality of all of my fonts has suffered since the 10.5.7 update.
What do you mean exactly by the "quality" having suffered?

You may see that message below the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old Firefox default home page. That page is no longer being maintained by Google.
You should try changing your home page to:
about:home
If you don't know how to change the home page, you should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[How to set the home page]].

I my macbook pro will not recognize my iphone. I had the AppleStore, re-install my original software a month or two ago, but since they did this, my computer cannot recognize my Iphone it is telling me that I also need to download the new version of Itunes, but keeps telling me my system isn't running the correct software. When I go to update my software, it's telling me I'm running the latest version??? HELP!!
you need to upgrade your OSX to 10.6.8 or later to sync with the iPhone 5. as you need itunes 10.7 to run Iphone 5

Have downloaded V801 but panel under search bar says I am not running the latest version
I downloaded latest version 801 the first time it loaded it was ok but every time since then the bar under the google search bar say I am not on the latest version with a triangle and ! . I have checked the help bar and this says I am upto date. I have deleted Firefox and re-installed- same problem. Have checked through update page and it says firefox is up to date

Hi my iPhone runs a 4.3.2 when I connect to iTunes it says there is an update 4.3.5 something like that so when I want to update to ios5 is it a must to. Update the 4.3.5 or if the iOS 5 is released it will show for the update instead of the 4.3.5 update
You will be okay, but make sure you update to iTunes 10.5. Otherwise the iPhone update will not be available.

Well, with 4.0 beta there is the option of restoring a previous session on demand (thumbs up for that :P) AND what's even nicer it even saves the state of Panorama.
Just tried it and if you have tab groups defined in Panorama when you close Firefox, if you choose to restore the session when you restart the next time (either by using the Restore button on Firefox's default homepage or the option in the History menu) Panorama gets restored as well. -

My wife has one of the original iPads. She tried to use the Target Store app and it told her she needed to update her OS. We tried to update but is said the iOS5 was up to date. Any suggestions?
Original iPad cannot update beyond iOS 5.1.1. If you don't have it yet, connect to iTunes to update; you need iTunes 10.5 or later.

I am running the most upto date version yet it still tells me that I am not? Why?
Hi, on the home page just under the google search bar in the middle of the page I keep getting the message that I am not running the latest version of Firefox and not getting the most from the web. When I click the link it takes me to the advert for the Android version and the latest version of Firefox. I have the latest version and just in case I downloaded it again, and yet, I still get this little message saying I dont have the latest version. Its not a problem for me but I just wondered why my computer is not picking up that I have the latest version. I also have the computer set so that it takes all upgrades to the software.

You haven't actually asked a question, but as stated you should only download Flash Player directy from Adobe.
Nor have you said what version of OS X and Safari you are running.
You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS. Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. The latest version,10.3 or later, is for Intel Macs only, as Adobe no longer support the PPC platform. Version 11.0.1.152 is for Lion.
* Unhelpfully, if you want the last version for PPC Macs, you need to go here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html and scroll down to 'Archived Versions/Older Archives'. Flash Player 10.1.102.64 is the one you download. More information here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/838/cpsid_83808.html
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe. -
When I try to watch any video clip I get this:

I recently signed up for iTunes Match. It works well on my iPad2 but not my iPhone 4S. A while ago my music did show up on my phone but much of it was grayed out. Now I don't see anything on my iPhone. I've tried everything I can think of. I'm running the latest operating system and software
