Not seeing new title tags, iWeb SEO, iWeb 09

I have been working with iWeb SEO tool to write title tags for a site created in iWeb 09. After publishing to folder, I proceed to write title tags and save each new tag. When I publish I continue to see the old title tags. I have tried ftp for upload as well. Dates on my files and folders indicate the upload is complete, and I have tested with changes to content. Everything seems to work except overwriting the original title tags. I believe I set the original tag using a Google tool. Any thoughts?

I have published this site three ways, one using SEO Publish which uploads from folder (home/My Web Sites/site folder) to ISP, two using Fetch to upload from folder to ISP, and third, Apply All in SEO tool (which I wonder if it loads to domain.sites2 since I do not tell it where to go) and then publishing using iWeb ftp. I wait a day between uploads just to be certain of things, as well as check the my ISP folder for the date/time of my last upload. Each of the three ways is successfully up loading files and folders, yet none succeeds in writing the new title tags. I am quite perplexed by this. I thought title tags were embedded on each page they are assigned too (would be in Dreamweaver), but it acts as if I have a title tag somewhere else which is showing up identically on every page of my site, over riding my new title tags. Any insights? Thank you for your reply.

It is possible to see the 3 DSO tables data in through SE16. May be you do not have authorization to see data through SE16.

Hmm... I didn't think we had quite released this version yet. It's possible that that website went live before the link to the new download. There should be a blog entry about this on the "Power BI" blog in the very near future.
At the risk of providing a spoiler :), the CRM Online support is via OData.

Disk Utility not seeing new hdd; how do I fix this?

MacBook Pro Model A1278 (EMC 2326*) 2010. The old hard drive failed so I purchased a WD SATA 500GB. Model is WDBMYH5000. Im using a install DVD of Lion to try to format the new HD.Disk Utility or the OS X installer will not see the HD. I have searched several threads but have not been able to locate a definite answer. I have made sure to install properly. Also found a thread that referred to clearing the NVRAM and firmware. No luck with that either. Is there a way to format through terminal? Do I need to do something with the jumpers perhaps?

If you toggle Airplane mode On/Off, does it resolve?

FCE does not see new files

I Have recently purchased a HD camcorder (panasonic HDC TM900) the first couple of times I used it and connected it to my Imac I was able to transfer footage without any problem using the Log and Transfer however. I have used the camera a little more and now when I connect it Iphoto opens up. I then close it and open FCE and find that the 2 existing files are shown but not any after that. Can I set it so that FCE opens rather the Iphoto and why can I not see my new footage?

Next time iPhoto launches go to File>Preferences>General and set Connecting camera opens to No application, as shown below.
I don't know if this will sort out the missing video issue but it will stop iPhoto launching.

Macbook does not see new hard drive

I have one of the first black macbooks...
Intel Core Duo
2GHZ
2mb L2 Cache

SMC Version 1.4f12
I had an 80GB HD in it that has died. I decided to replace it with a WD Scorpio Blue 160GB.
I've booted to the optical drive and went into Disk Utility to format the new drive but the computer would not recognize the drive. So I formatted it with another computer using a USB enclosure. I put the new HD back and still not recognized.
I then went ahead and installed Snow Leopard on the new drive via USB enclosure, using the macbook I would eventually put the drive into.
Now when I put the new drive, with the OS installed, still not reco

Let us resume the required steps, after putting inside a new, virgin disk:
1. Start up machine and as soon as possible put CD/DVD, press key C to force boot from CD; if the sequence is not fast enough and machine passed over the initial phase, and ? was displayed, force shut down by pressing button key, then start again, with CD/DVD inside
2. Press key C after start, and wait until the Apple logo in displayed, wait
3. You will see a list of install language, choose one, and
4. Go to Apple bar and choose Disk Utility; on the left side, you will see the disk, select it, then, on the cenral-lower part of displayed windows go to Options and choose Apple Partition Map (APM), go back and choose, if not already chosen by default, Mac OS Extended Journaled (HFS+), 1 partition (or more, some prefer more than one), click to partiion/erase disk. Note that you MUST have both conditions achieved: APM and HFS+
5. Close Disk Utility and revert to installation proper, proceed.
If you do not see the disk on the left side of Disk Utility, then disk is damaged or badly connected.
P.S. The same procedures are applied to any disk, with the note that:
- for Intel Macs, partition map should be GUID, not APM
- for external disks or flash drives intended to smoothly work with Windows, format should be FAT 32 and Master Boot Record; NTFS may be done with an additional utility like NTFS-3G or NTFSmounter

Problems with gmail imap and not seeing new messages in inbox

I have done countless searches and have not been able to find anything that works. I am gathering that mail on the iPhone 4 and the ipad is not illy compatible. Here is what I am having trouble with:
I recently switched my gmail from pop to imap. The reason behind this is that I could not have mail running on my MacBook and still see my messages on my iPhone 4 or ipad at the same time. What would happen is that any new messages would download onto my MacBook and I could not see them in mail in the inbox on my iPhone and ipad. So, I switched to imap so that I could leave mail running on all my devices and be able to see the same messages no matter what I was viewing them with. Here is the next problem. Now for some reason, only some messages go to the inbox, all of the rest go to the"all mail" folder. Is there a way to fix this so that I can view all of my messages in the "all inboxes" in mail?
Maybe I am misunderstanding how this is supposed to work but any help is appreciated. I have checked the filter settings in gmail (which I had none) and the labels and still nothing works. I have also verified from the gmail help my mail and gmail settings.

Forum Bug regarding not seeing new posts

I've posted this here as many users are reporting forum issues where they will get a notification of a new post made to a thread but they cannot see it.
This is a forum bug which Apple is aware of... and are trying to resolve but in the meantime here are two (somewhat impractical) fixes i have found...
1) Open the forum on a different Mac or Apple device and the posts will show up... Go back to the original Mac or Apple device and they will not appear unless you make a new post in that thread yourself... after the missing posts.
2) Post a new reply and then any posts made prior to your new reply will show up
It is not a cookie related problem as cleaning out the cookies does not fix the issue Its odd as if this is the case then how is this bug only specific to one Mac? Something must be tracking something, somehow but it doesn't appear to be via cookies....
Quiting and restarting Safari nor restarting your Mac, doesn't fix it either...
If anyone finds any other workarounds, please post them here....

Yes I know that, but I was referring to another situation where I get a thread notification by mail, I open the thread and do not see the new message, I then sign in et voila here it is. And in my situation this has, until now, always worked.
You have been lucky. I am signed continuously, but still most of the post are missing, when I go to them from an email notification. My "." key is rather worn out by now from using it to force posts to show

Not seeing New Software notifications in Software Center

Hello, I have created a deployment for Windows Internet Explorer 10. It is set as available. I can see it in the Software Center and install it on my PC with no issues. The deployment is set to display in software center and show all notifications.
My trouble is that I'm not seeing any new software notifications and our company would really like to alert the users that there is new software available. Is there something that would prevent these notifications from happening or something that I'm overlooking?

System not seeing new 36 drives - on Ultra 2

Anyone,
I have a Sun Ultra 2 that was upgraded to dual 400MHZ CPU and 2 GB of memory. I also purchased two new SCSI drives that are 36 GB in size. I have installed one of the drives in target 0. When I start Solaris 9 install I can go into format and it sees the drive. I have formated one of them and install the Solaris 9. When I put in the other drive I can run the install program and format the second drive, and I can partition it, save it, etc. after a reboot, I go into Sun Management Console and try to mount the drive SMC does see the second drive. After I shut down, I do a probe-scsi-all and it does not see the second drive and the screen lists the first drive and then flashes to the CDROM listing. I think this is because of an control character on the disk description. Why would probe-scsi-all not see the second drive and format will see the second drive. Also I have a HP 18GB drive that I have formated and the system can not see it either. Do you know of a jumper that needs to be set. I can see not jumper on the hard drives. Format can see the drives so it must be something with the OS. One more thing, I did not let the validation run to the end when I was formating the second 36GB drive, but I have cntl-c out of it after the first pass but I have done that before on other drives without any problems. Any ideas why the OS sees only one drive and not the second disk.

From the sun hand book it looks like the Ultra 2 doesn't support 36GB drives
Up to two 3.5- x 1-in., 2.1-GB, 4.2-GB, or 9.1-GB
18.2 GB maximum internal (two 9.1-GB disks)
That's not to say they won't work - but you may find that the reason you're getting odd responses is that while they will work they're not fully recognised by all the utilities...

I updated to IOS7 and now I can not see the titles of movies on ipad

I can no longer see the titles of my movies on my ipad once I updated to IOS7 .... Is this a bug or is there a way around it?

Affects the readability of titles of movies in the video app? Home made movies have black titles, my downloaded one has nothing but the dvd cover.

N80 - Music Player does not see new tracks in musi...

I updated my N80 with the latest firmware last week. I recently added fur new tracks to my phone. I can see the track in the gallery under tracks but when I go to the music player, and into the music library the tracks are not there, even if i say update music library it tells me 0 tracks updated/added. Please help.

To the guys who posted earlier... have you found the solution for this problem?
My N80 has been updating fine until two days ago when i uploaded new songs... the tracks get in but the music library doesn't update these new tracks in, it would register 0 added tracks then after the update it would say that there are no tracks in at all... you need to get out of the music player first & reenter it to see the tracks that were already there before the new ones... if i try to remove tracks, the update works fine & would record the removed tracks... what is wrong????

Not seeing new events in iPhoto since 1/2/12

I noticed that following 1/2/12, iPhoto V9.2.1 is not organizing any additional events. I can only find my photos through Photos or Last Import. I currently have 1.906 events, and 29,986 photos, plus 4,297 photos in the trash.
This is on my 17" MacBookPro, with 8 GB RAM, running Snow Leopard.

Control-click on one of those photos in the Last Import smart album and select "Show Event". That will take you to the Event containing the photo. What do you see when you do that?
Also make sure you've got the Event sorted so you know where new events should occur, either at the top or bottom. Then check there.

ITunes not seeing new iPhone today only

I've synced with my iPhone several times, but today I plugged in my iPhone to the USB port and About This Mac sees my iphone, but iTunes does not. I've tried restarting the computer, but no luck.

I have been suffering this exact same problem ever since I got my new iPhone last Tuesday. Options to recover are:
1. Soft reset of the iPhone (shut it down and restart)
2. If the cable is in a USB hub, remove it and put it directly into the Mac
3. Reload iTunes
4. Hard reset of the iPhone putting the iPhone in recovery mode followed by a Fresh Restore (loses all content)
Of the above the only one that works for me is a hard restore which is a real pain as I have to reload all my content each and every time.
Oddly, I have found that when my iMac gets a spinning ball in iTunes, if I go to another computer and plug in it finds the iPhone fine, which kinda confirms this is an iTunes issue rather than an iPhone hardware issue.
By way of example, Saturday I get a spinning ball in iTunes whenever the iPhone is connected. I try on my macbook and the macbook finds it fine, but I cant sync as my main computer is the iMac.
Sunday night iTunes on the mac finds the iPhone! I spend all night reloading my content.
Monday night iMac cannot see the iPhone again - spinning ball - and after trying 1-3 options without success I do a hard reset into recovery mode followed by a restore and then reload everything yet again.
I've also noted that not all album artwork comes over either, which is irritating but minor compared to this random loss off connection.
Btw I called apple support and the guy I talked to suggested that it could be something to do with the issues around mobileme. Not sure what the connection is exactly but I'm trying to research this angle.

Lightroom will not see newer version of PS as ext editor

Cannot ..even with deinstall and upgrading from LR 4.3 to 4.4 get Lightroom to see anything but Photoshop 5.1 as my primary external editor ...In other words I have deinstalled Creative Suite with Photoshop 5.1...which was not easy and required Adobe Techicnical Support to remotely remove the software because Adobe Cleaner was useless..anyway I now have Creative Suite CS 6 with the newest version of photshop installed and cannot get Lightroom to see it as my primary photo editor ...I can add it as an additional external editor to the 5.1 which is embeded at the top of External Editing preference screen but cannot get even with complete deinstalls and reinstalls of Lightroom cannot get it to recognise that there is a new version of photoshop ...It is absurd I no longer have PS 5.1 and why the helk cant I manually change my primary preference PS 5.1 to PS 6 ....and I assume that because of this (because it never happend prior to this) Photoshop will not save back to lighroom ...
