Incomplete display in design view most often happens when
there is bad html
syntax. Such as an include being used that contains it's own
<html><head><body> tags.
Are any html tags highlighted in yellow in design view or
code view?
Browsers can render some pretty horrendous html syntax.
Dw can stop displaying in design view because it doesn't just
have to render
the html, it has to make sense of it so it knows what would
be valid html to
insert where the mouse is. If it can't make sense of it-

Perform a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. If this doesn't help, connect the phone to the charger and leave it for about 30 minutes and see if it comes on. If not, while it is connected try the reset I described first.

It depends what you mean by 'locked' - it can mean locked by a passcode or linked only to one particular carrier (service provider). If the latter, see the post above; if it's a passcode issue:

Yikesyou have helped me before and I thank you for that. Funny how at the last resort I ask a question and then an hour later I fix something that has been broken for five days. I got off on the wrong foot with Lightroom installation and I really stepped in it...a lot had to do with a bad hard drive and all that. I still have remnants of catalogues etc so I am never quite sure where I am. I ran a search and found more than one .lrdata files. I am "not too computer savvy" so if you are going to answer my question.. Please take super baby steps (thx in advance).. Okay, now I have a 1 yr old Imac I am using 10.6.8 (do not know what that means) but everytime I call Apple support they ask me.. So I figured you may need to know as well. I really love Firefox (easier for me) and I was trying to download a coupon printing thing to print from Coupons.com (plz don't laugh..economy sux) anyways, the operator at coupons.com told me how to install it. Can't remember but if not immediately after or not long after?? It seems that ALL my images on EVERY website are gone. It is very frustrating because I can not see (for example on Ebay where to click "buy it now" or "continue" unless it seems I sometime get lucky and click where it says "image" but there isn't one. It looks like a set of shark teeth actually right beside the word "image" very jaggedy teeth, I guess?? So I have been using Safari. There is no problem with ANY of those website images. I go on the same basic sites so that is how I know that. I have only downloaded music I think 3x. I do not download much at all. I would really love to use Firefox, being the un-savvy computer person I am... Firefox is easier to navigate for me. Thanks SO much!
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

Ink Cartridges not near what it should
My son purchased me a hp5520 last year for my birthday, I have purchased ink at least 4 times in a year. I do not print that much and dont understand what the problem is. The last time I bought ink it was gone in a month. I just bought ink today and plan on counting each page printed until the ink is gone and going to date the box. I usually go in and use black ink only and check the box that says draft or something like that. If I am going to use $50 in ink a month when i dont even print 100 pages I might as well send it to the garbage can. Do you have any tips or ways to check how many pages I have printed. I apologize for my frustation but it is frustrating.
So you're already using Fastdraft and a black or grayscale printmode. Have you tried using XL size cartridges to get a better page yield?

Button not doing what it should
I have two buttons on my page, button 1 and button 2.
They have different appearences once tapped, under "click" applied to them, just to add a little extra to my app.
The "event" is "on release".
The actions I have set are "go to state", i have three of these actions asigned to each button.
I have three object states on the page, each object state having two different states within it.
The object states have no "swipe to change", "cross fade" etc. as I want them all to change instantly..
So Button 1, when pressed, is asigned to change to Object State 1,2 and 3's State 1's.
And Button 2, when pressed, is asigned to change to Object State 1,2 and 3's State 2.
But,
When I touch button 1: only 1 of the 3 object states change.
When I touch button 2: the same state changes, only.
.....................then if I simply nudge the page, after pressing a button, all the states change to what they should be?
Is this because I need to wait for the update of Content Viewer on my iPad?
These buttons work perfectly on my mac's Content Viewer, not a problem or glitch at all..
If I have my object states on "cross fade" at any speed, they work perfectly as well.Ok I tested another file and there's still the same exact problem.
I used blocks of colour as buttons and for the MSO, just in case it was something to do with that..but nope, still only the first action of the button works -
Help, When I click on itunes on my computer it tells me that the software required for communicating with ipods and mobil phone was not installed properly. I havent' changed anything. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks

I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but one day my Google search bar turned blue when I tried typing in it. I couldn't see what I was typing. I did some research and some forums said it was a problem with Firefox. Have you heard of this? Is there a solution for it?
Thank you for your help.For me, the google search bar turns blue once I've typed in a search term, but then want to click on it again to change or add something. The entire bar turns blue. I can still type, but it's hidden. Then when I click Search, it does bring up my search results and now the terms I've written are showing in the search bar, with no blue.
The only way to get out of it when the blue is there, is to reload the page. -

when I get into the moodle reply box in the beta version no keyboard comes up. In the regular version, this was fixed, now I can type but I don't see what I type as I type it. the word are there however when I close the keyboard. all this was better last week.
Now up to Firefox 8 and the problem persists. Cannot go to the www.turnitin.com page and login as I used to do -- Firefox does not remember my username or password.
Still works on Windows, and with other browsers... It would be great if a fix is available. -

That Mac has been affected by MacPaw "CleanMyMac". Read below.
It is not reasonable to expect a Mac to operate normally after using CleanMyMac. Like many ill-conceived "cleaning" utilities, it is capable of corrupting a Mac to the point that erasing it completely is the only practicable means of recovery. CleanMyMac is not the only example; it is merely popular due to marketing strategies that are as effective as they are intrusive.
There is no practicable way to reverse the effects of having used CleanMyMac2 other than to reinstall all affected files from backups or their original sources. Its developer's uninstallation instructions are ineffective despite their recent claims to the contrary. Only MacPaw, its developer, can know the reason for that, but I can think of two possibilities: either they are purposefully leaving components behind for reasons known only to them, or they simply don't know what they're doing. Neither one of those possibilities is particularly comforting for the user.
Reinstalling OS X alone will have no effect on either removing CleanMyMac or reversing the damage it is capable of inflicting upon a system. Follow the applicable recovery procedure below:
If you have a backup that you created prior to using CleanMyMac, now is the time to use it. For Time Machine, boot OS X Recovery, and at the Mac OS X Utilities screen, choose Restore from Time Machine Backup. Choose a date preceding the installation of CleanMyMac.
If you do not have a backup that predates the use of CleanMyMac, create one now. To do that read Mac Basics: Time Machine backs up your Mac.
The recovery procedure will require that you erase the Mac using OS X Recovery, and then create a new user whose contents will be empty. You will then be able to use Setup Assistant to migrate your essential documents including photos, music, work products and other essential files.
When doing so, select only your previous User account and do not select "Applications", "Computer and Network Settings" or "Other files and folders". De-select those choices.
Subsequent to using Setup Assistant, you will need to reinstall the essential software you may require, once again remembering to install software only from their original sources, and omitting all non-essential software.

To migrate your essential documents read: OS X Yosemite: Transfer your info from a computer or storage device and follow the procedure under Transfer info from a Time Machine backup or other storage device. The procedure is identical for Mountain Lion.
