Not showing missed calls and dropping calls

I have had a Thunderbolt for several months now and I have had a problem with missed calls not showing up and voice mail showing up with missed calls, I have talked to tech and reported this and I received a refurbished phone and still have the same problem any know issues with this?

I apologize for the delayed response and its unfortunate you are still missing calls with the replacement device. Can you please advise if you have taken advantage of the newest Software Update? Additionally, are you advising that you don't receive a notification of a missed call and the only way you realize it is when you check your voicemail? I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks @rickhumpries86. What I did was I narrowed the problem down to a text animation. I only left 2 elements on the stage:
1) A button
2) A text animation (a plus sign)
In this first picture of the stage, the problem exists. The frame of the + is indicated but is not overlapping the button.
How I corrected it was I had to move the text animation up about 9 times (Ctrl + up arrow) to the position indicated in this next screen shot. Then there was no interference from the + text animation. For the animation I used the Disperse effect. To get the + sign that large, I used Arial size 72 font. So I'm not sure if this is considered a bug, or there is something else that I'm not understanding about the interaction of the text animation and its affect on the stage to other elements.

i'm on my second 8gig iphone and am still having (after 2days) horrible drop-outs on almost every call and dropped calls. the signal is showing full strenght-4bars while this is happening. any ideas? my previous cell (blackberry on att) had perfect reception at all times at same location. drove through the neighborhood this afternoon and same thing. i areas where i used to get perfect reception i now get drop-outs.

you are correct - hence my previous post that my att reception on my previous phone - a blackberry in exact same locations - was perfect. on the other hand i think this must be an isolated incident of bad luck receiving 2 phones in a row that have bad reception. i met at least 10 people at the apple store on friday night that live in my area (within 1/2 mile) and nobody has complained (so far) about reception issues and dropped calls.

Hi Shijo,
Is this affecting only one 7942 IP phone or all of them? if this is affecting all then you may try ta firmware upgrade. If this is only affecting one of them then you can compare the settings of this phone with the working ones or try setting the phone to factory defaults.

How to quickly pick up a 2nd call and drop the first call

If I am on a phone call, and then a second call comes in, then how can I quickly pick up the second call and DROP the first call? I can do it if I put the first call on hold but then I have two calls going. If I simply END the first call, then it takes 5 or 6 seconds for the second call to come in. Several times I have lost the second call because it took too long to transition over.

Usually cuz its locked to a network other then the SIM's. Did you swap SIMs today? Or it's not seated properly. Take it out and reinsert carefully.

10.3 is slow in making call and receiving call

os 10.3 is kinda slow while making a call and receiving call? its not a bug in handset cause i've experienced the same issue with 3 z10 and 1 z30 which is im using rightnow all the phones runnin on os 10.3 are slow while making and receiving a call i hope you will get my point?

Well, first, not all devices are doing it, at least not as bad as was just described. So, that means contrary to your statement, an OS reload and/or wipe would likely fix it.
Second, you haven't said what version you're on so no way to know if there's an update for you or not.

Multi window view missing drag and drop

The 4.3 update for Note 2 says it will be upgraded to Note 3 version. Didn't the Note 3 have drag and drop capability? This option is not available on my now updated Note 2. Am I missing something?

Yeah, this bug has been around for a long long time. Best thing to do is to drop it directly onto 'c' or switch to another view style like Column View or Icon View. Hope that helps.

Phone call and fax call

Priter does not wake up when a fax call comes. It does not know the difference between a regular call and fax call. When it is ON, on a regular call it produces a disturbing sound that is very loud.
How can I fix this?

When I do a search, the file comes up under the new name, but it does not show a path, and even though preview shows the contents, I can't open the document (Powerpoint) and I can't move the document. I tried "Copy" and paste but it doesn't work. I tried "Share" with Airdrop and iChat, but the file is inaccessible. When i try to rename the file, it says the filename is too long.
When I try to open it, it says the alias is not good, and asks if I want to fix the alias. I'm afraid to do that and lose all access to this document.
Right now, it feels like a ghost document - it is on the computer intact, but it is in an undisclosed location and inaccessible.
Please help!!

I was able to resolve this by repairing permissions, even though no permissions error was listed specifically for that file.
I could also have recovered it through Time Machine, but I'm interested in knowing how not to have this happen again!
I was afraid of rebooting and possibly losing track even of the ghost.
I did not try EasyFind - I'll keep that in mind next time.

Mail app not showing some png and pdf attachments.

I'm using the iPhone 4s and recently, both mobileme and yahoo email accounts are not showing some png and pdf attachments. I'm seeing the attachment is there, but it doesn't load. Load remote images is turned on in settings. Does anyone have the same problem and a solution/explanation?

My work email account is an IMAP account.
I removed my work email account on my home computer this morning to test out this problem on my computer at work. I just sent a test message to my work account from my iPhone. My iPhone, iPad and computer at work still have my work email active on them and all the devices are showing the test message as new and unread. The problem seems to be that when I have my work email activated on my home computer, the messages do not show new and unread on the rest of my devices.
