Not Starting ....what should I try next?

Hi,
So working away merrily on my PB G4 and it powers down.
I initially assumed the the power lead wasn't plugged in properly and my very old, very tired battery had ran out. That was not the case.
Power lead was plugged in correctly and amber.
White "sleep" light wasn't lighting.
Battery condition leds - one green flickering LED
Left it for a while.
Still wouldn't power back up.
Left it to charge overnight-nothing.
Tried removing battery and restarting with just ac lead plugged in - nothing.
Tried charging with battery removed to charge PRAM(?) battery (~8hours); reinserted battery; still nothing.
I don't have a spare battery (and I don't want to fork out for one if I can, unless there's a high probability of resolution).
What do I try next?

Do you know that the power adapter is good?
There's only 4 major components in the charging circuit: power adapter, dc-in card, battery, and logic board. Is the female connector the power supply plugs into loose? Can you insert a ballpoint pen and easily (don't force anything) wiggle it? If so, your DC-in card may need replacing. This isn't too unusual. If that jack is pretty firm with no wiggle, the DC-in card is probably OK.
However, clearly you're not getting power into the system. So it can only be the power adapter, DC-in card or the logic board.

    Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
    "Develop" menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.

iDVDpref. file resides.----> Mac Hard Disk (start-up HD)/Users/"Your account"/Library/Preferences
and is named. (one or more of these)
com.apple.iDVD.plist
com.apple.iDVDApp.plist (may be ? - not sure this exist)
and find
com.apple.iApps.plist
While iDVD is NOT RUNNING - move this/these file/s out on to desk-top.
Now restart iDVD.
If You run Mac OS X.7 or more - then the Library in the User-account folder is invisibly and need to be set to be viewable. IT IS NOT in the Library on Root level (when opening MacintoshHD - first window = root level)
( It can be done like this: Open Terminal, then enter: chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press return, then restart, and it will always be visible until the next major update, when you do the same thing again. )
But there are better ways to do this - but as I'm only in Mac OS X.6.? - I have no hand on know how - but the above way works if carefully done.

Other than the keyboard & mouse, disconnect all devices from your iMac.

DW won't run - mfc110u.dll missing on PC - What should I try next?

I've just tried installing and uninstalling DW CC 3 times. Once even on the actual Admin User Login account.
I keep getting the message "The program can't start because mfc110u.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem".
I am running Windows 8.1 64-bit.
Any ideas what I could try to fix this issue?

Thanks and others who tried to help. The problem has been solved, before you responded, as I was so keen to get Dreamweaver to load I kept trying and trying and finally I managed to get it to load.
What didn't work:
Simply installing the Microsoft C++ re-distributable Upgrade 2013 by Microsoft - over a completed Dreamweaver installation.
When trying to run Dreamweaver, even though initially the Dreamweaver application reported a successful install that error message kept popping up
What did work:
Uninstalling all my old Redistributable Upgrades in the Microsoft Remove Programs Uninstaller
Then uninstalling Dreamweaver with all my saved settings removed as well. I had no saved settings btw.
Then installing Microsoft C++ re-distributable upgrades for both, 32-bit and 64-bit.
Then restarting the machine.
Then reinstalling Dreamweaver via the Cloud installer interface.
After that Dreamweaver loaded up. Hooray!
Maybe some of the things in the list above was unnecessary, but the combination of all did fix my problem.
Hope this will help others as well, should they get the same issue.

Computer does not start,,, What should I do?

When I turn on my PowerBook, the chime sounds, and then the Apple logo appears. Under the apple, the wheel starts to turn. This is what I should expect up till this point. However, the wheel rotates forever. I am unable to access any of my files on the computer, and am unable to proceed to Mac OS X. How can I resolve this issue?

Try starting up in Safe Mode, by hitting the power button and immediately after the chime hold down the "Shift" key until the grey apple appears. It will take a little longer than normal to boot. When it starts up, log in, empty the Trash, and restart normally. See the article What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? (Mac OS X)

Ipad will not start what should I do?

Was just using it turned it off went to turn it back on does nothing. Battery was at 80% tried plugging it into the wall charger nothing. Went threw the user guide nothing. Have it plugged into my PC right now nothing.

Tried that but not for 10 seconds. What happened why would it do that ? This thing is not even a year old should this be happening already? First Apply product I have purchased not the first time I have had a problem. Would not restart after update lost a lot of contacts I just added, My fault did not do backup before update.

Which article was that? Was it the Apple article on fixing this?
You just found a Mail icon on the Desktop after running the combo and sec updates again? You don't have Mail.app in /Applications?
Can you post a screenshot of that icon, Cmd-Shift-4, and use the camera icon above.
