"Not subscribed to data services"

I'm getting the above message on my new iPhone 4S. All my apps, settings transferred from my iPhone 3 to 4S but the phone and text system has not been "transferred" to 4S. In fact, phone calls and text messages are still active in my old iPhone when there should be "No service" there. What to do?

I have subscribed for data service I have been using for more than a week after making update of ios 6.0.1 to 6.0.2 I have been facing this problem it's shows that your not subscribed to cellular data service. It's because of software update only I changed my sim to another device it works perfectly. It does not work properly on iphone 5 only

• Changes made in RFC is not reflected in data services

Hi,
I am using a data service based on SAP R/3 RFC in my view
In my RFC i have some import parameters
and some export parameters
and when place a data service which is based on this RFC on the view for the first time , I am getting the import parameters and export parameters correctly
but the issue comes
when ever some one make changes in RFC and activating it again.
those changes are not reflected in data service (ex: a new import parameter is added or a parameter name is changed in the RFC, this is not reflected in data service)
i tried with deleting the existing data service and creating a new data service based on modified RFC
but even iam getting the data services details as pervious one ( as old data servie which i used at firt time)
why this is happening
how to solve this issue
regards
Srinivas

Hi,
Yes you need to restert the J2EE engine. Because when you imort it first time then it holdes it in cache memory. It will not be updated untill you restert the server. You restert the server then try it , you will get the right result for updated RFC.

• Populate ComboBox from database - NOT using Flex Data Services

Hi there,
We are using CF with Flex but are not using the Flex Data
Service. I'm very much a newb and I'm having trouble finding any
information on how to populate controles from a database without
using Flex Data Service. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
First I have a page... JobSearch.mxml that contains a combo
box that I want to populate with the job_id and job_title from a
MSSQL database.
In Flex in the RDS DataView I used the "Create CFC" Wizard
which generated "job.cfc" and "jobGateway.cfc". It also generated
"job.as".
The CF Function that selects the data appears to be defaulted
and called "load" and the .as function is called simply "job".
So, that all looks great. But I can't find any information on
what I need to have on my JobSearch.mxml to actually get this data
into the comboBox.
I did:
<mx:Script>

[Bindable]
public var jobData:job = null;

</mx:Script>
And then:
<mx:ComboBox
text="{jobData.job_title}"></mx:ComboBox>
But I'm being told "Type was not found or was not a
complie-time constant: job"
I guess I'm missing something, or doing something way
wrong... I just don't know enough of Flex at this point to know
what it is.
Thanks!

Using php or asp is not an option, as we are a Cold Fusion
House.
I was looking at an article on Ben Forta's blog (
http://www.forta.com/blog/index.cfm?mode=e&entry=1786)
and following his example I did this... only it doesn't work:
I'm very very new to Flash and we are using ColdFusion but
are not using Flex Data Services. I've been trying to figure out
how to populate a combobox from a database and I'm just not having
any luck.
My project is called "PreTraffic". I have my main file as
"JobSearch.mxml" and a folder under the root named "cfc" with a
file called "job.cfc".
job.cfc contains the following code:
<cfcomponent>

<cffunction name="GetJob" access="remote"
returntype="query" output="false">
<cfset var job="">
<cfset var results="">
<cfquery datasource="discsdev" name="job">
SELECT job_id, job_title
FROM job
WHERE status = 'O'
ORDER BY job_title
</cfquery>
<cfquery dbtype="query" name="results">
SELECT job_title AS label, job_id AS data
FROM job
ORDER BY label
</cfquery>
<cfreturn results>
</cffunction>
</cfcomponent>
And JobSearch.mxml has the following code:

<mx:Application
xmlns:mx="
http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml"
xmlns="*"
layout="absolute"
backgroundGradientColors="[#ffffff, #d0d0d0]"
creationComplete="InitApp()">
<mx:Style source="style.css" />
<mx:Script>

public function InitApp():void {
jobSvc.GetJob();

</mx:Script>

<mx:RemoteObject id="jobSvc" destination="PreTraffic"
showBusyCursor="true" />
<mx:VBox label="Job History" width="100%" height="100%"
x="10" y="92">
<mx:Label text="Search jobs by"/>
<mx:Form label="Task" width="100%">
<mx:FormItem label="Job Name:">
<mx:ComboBox id="jobNameCB"
dataProvider="{jobSvc.GetJob.results}"></mx:ComboBox>
</mx:FormItem>
</mx:Form>
<mx:HBox>
<mx:Button label="Search"/>
<mx:Button label="Clear"/>
</mx:HBox>
</mx:VBox>
</mx:Application>
My Compiler thingy points to:
-services
"/Volumes/flexwwwroot/WEB-INF/flex/job-services-config.xml" -locale
en_US
and job-services-config.xml contains the following code:
<destination id="PreTraffic">
<channels>

</channels>
<properties>
flex.pretraffic.cfc.job
<lowercase-keys>true</lowercase-keys>
</properties>
</destination>
Well, when I run the app... the combobox is not populated...
Can anyone help with what I've done wrong?
Thanks!

• Wi-Fi not working if Data Services (Mobile Network) is OFF

Today I had some issues with the Wi-Fi connection..
The problem is that under Manage Conections > MOBILE NETWORK Settings there is an option that says: "Data Services"... As it is under MOBILE NETWORK settings which is related to my network carrier, and I don't have any Data Plan I guessed that i could turn that to OFF...
So then a few minutes later I tried to use What's App, and there was no connection... so I tried using the Browser also without lucky.
Then after looking for something that could solve my problem without finding something usefull I decided to work on it by myself, so I rebooted the BB, my Home Router, cheking for Connection Diagnose under Wi-Fi options, but nothing seemed to work until I decided to turn ON the Data Services setting I was talking about before... and voilá it started working...
I'm not sure if this is an actual problem or something else.. but I think that an option under Mobile Network should not being interfering with the Wi-Fi connection, just makes no logic at all...
BB 8900
OS 5.0.0.1036 (build 1682)
Only Wi-Fi.
Solved!
Go to Solution.

Being under "Mobile Network" you would think it wouldn't affect it but it does. In order to use wifi you have to have Data Services turned on. It's always been this way...

• Not subscribed to data network (UK)

For some reason at varied intervals I get a message popping up on my iPhone 3GS screen telling me that I am not subscribed to a data network. I am with o2 in the UK. I have signal and am able to make calls and text messages but cannot understand why this message keeps popping up.
Any ideas?

I would have thought that a phone call to O2 would be your quickest and most reliable way of resolving your problem!

• GUID not available in data service model

In SAP CRM you use something called GUID as a unique key to identify entries in a table.
A common scenario is where a user select one entry in table A and get corresponding entries from table B based on the first table selection.
Now I’m trying to build a demo in Visual composer. The problem is that the GUID attribute is never displayed in the data service model after import. In webdynpro the GUID is a BINARY type and in the CRM the type is RAW.
My question is:
Why can’t I see the GUID in the data service model ?

Its a custom one!
Its a very simple fuction module that just shold return a table.

• Management Console is not working from Data Services Designer

Hi,
Management Console was working fine from DataServices Designer.
We have reconfigured Tomcat Weserver to a different port. The Management Console in the DataServices Designer is still pointing towards the old port and not working. Please advise how to change the port settings for the Management Console in the DataService Designer.
Thanks.
Raj.

from the Designer, click on tools menu, select Options
In the Options window, expand Designer node and select Environment
Select host:port for the Administrator under (Default Administrator for Metadata Reporting), it should list both old and new ManagementConsole port

• Flex Data Services does not see remote methods in extended ColdFusion component.

I have created a remote service base component as a AModelService.cfc file. I extend that file to make my ModelService.cfc. When I configure the ColdFusion data service and point to ModelService.cfc and click next, I don't see any remote methods (there are none explicitly defined in the component) in the Service Operations window.
If I go back and point to AModelServide.cfc, the parent component, and hit next, I see all the remote methods that are defined in the parent component. So, either I am doing something wrong, or Data Services does not look at methods up the cfc prototype chain, which from an OOP standpoint means that instead of say creating one restful base class and being nice and DRY you can't. I.e. not OOP for data services. Is this a bug, or what?
Anybody get data services to work with extended service components?
Mark

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did compile all the Java and it
works OK with a simple Java program. It just will not work in a
Flex application.
The java classes are:
RRA:
package blah.myPackage;
import java.util.List;
import java.util.Collection;
import flex.data.DataSyncException;
import flex.data.assemblers.AbstractAssembler;
class RRA extends AbstractAssembler
public Collection fill( List fillParameters )
RRS service = new RRS();
return service.getSome();
RRS:
package blah.myPackage;
import java.util.ArrayList;
import java.util.List;
import java.sql.*;
import flex.EORS.*;
class RRS
public List getSome()
ArrayList list = new ArrayList();
String str = "bob";
RR rr = new RR(str);
list.add(rr);
return list;
RR:
package blah.myPackage;
class RR
private String name;
public RR() { }
public RR(String name)
this.name = name;
public String getName()
return this.name;
public void setName(String name)
this.name = name;
I started with something that retrieved data from a database
but watered it down just to try and get some kind of communication
between Flex and Java.

• Data Services - Open hub read - No Open Hub DTP error

Hi,
I have created a open hub destination in BW (7.0 SP21), created transformation, DTP and process chain. In Data Services (3.2) I have created flow, job etc. and every thing seems to be as expected. However when I start the job in DS it terminates with an error:
1136 5624 BIW-230334 13-11-2009 12:28:22 Process Chain <ZTEST2> of Open Hub destination <ZTEST> at SAP system <.......> no more contains Open Hub DTP. Please reimport the Open Hub destination to execute the appropriate Process Chain.
I've tried re-activating everything in BW and also re-importing the OHD in BW, but nothing works. I've even tried to re-create everything from scratch. The process chain I've created do indeed contain an Open Hub DTP.
One addtional question: I've activated the process chain, but do I also need to schedule it in BW (like you do with e.g. process chains for time points to be used in Broadcasting)? Note, I've tried both scheduling/no scheduling and does not work either way.
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Jacob

You must implement following SAP Notes in SAP systems in order to make Data Services Open Hub functionality work correctly:
SAP Note 1270828 : (Open Hub Process chain is not imported into Data Services repository).
SAP Note 1294774: (Open Hub import failed - when you call the module RSB_API_OHS_DEST_SETPARAMS, th system tries to open a GUI)
SAP Note 1330568 version 3: (This note has fixed "Process Chain <ZTEST2> of Open Hub destination <ZTEST> at SAP system <.......> no more contains Open Hub DTP. Please reimport the Open Hub destination to execute the appropriate Process Chain").
SAP Note 1079698 - 70SP16 (Enable check box "Automatically Repeat Red Requests in Process Chain" in the DTP Execute)
SAP Note 1346049: (Error 028(OSOH): Request <n> cannot be locked.)
SAP Note 1338465 #with 1293589 as pre-requisite: (The ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records.)
SAP Note 1342955: (0 data records transferred)

• Are Flash Builder 4 data services production grade, or demo grade?

I've experimented a bit with the data services feature that Flash builder 4 beta 2 offers. Frankly they seem to be just about what I was waiting for. We build a lot of data centric applications and anything that reduces the amount of code required to wire things up is great. I do have some questions re the data services as implmented in beta 2, and forward. Note I've almost no hands on with Flex, any version, at this point.
With Flex Builder 3, there was a crud wizard. From what I read the code it generated was not considered production grade. I hope that the data services feature shown with beta 2 would be considered robust enough to use in production? I am sure that there are many different ways of handling data services in general with Flex, so I am not asking if it's the best approach or makes any other approach redundant. I just mean, could the tooling around the data services feature of flash builder 4 remain a viable approach for getting at data, once a flex developer was past the training wheels stage?
Another aspect I'm curious about is whether the data services features of Flash Builder 4 would remain relevant if one was using some other data access system? I can't really phrase this question properly because I don't really understand Flex or the various data access technologies that everyone is using. Hopefully the quesiton makes sense...if one was NOT using the data services wizard or whatever it's called, would whatever data services one was using show in the data services area of builder? It would be cool of course if they did.

Hi,
When it comes to runtime performance of the applications created using Data Centric Development ( DCD ) wizards, they perform same as the ones created without using DCD.
Even the code generated by these wizards are easy to read & maintain with proper inheritance, packages & overriding. But, if you are planning to use any of the MVC style frameworks, the generated code may not fit so well right now. We are already working on improving the experience for people who are using these frameworks.
Overall, using DCD gives a lot of productivity gain with its unified wizards & advanced UI Authoring workflows including Automatic Form Generation, Charts, Master-Detail views, Paging, Client Side Data Management etc.
Please let us know if you have any specific concerns in the generated code.

• Logical Data Service

Hi all,
I´m trying to create a phsysical data service that uses two physical data services (one Store procuredure and one table).
I what two create a join clause between my strore procedure and my table, but i got this error message:
+"cannot create relationship from/to any Data service other than entity data service.+
+One or both of the data services chosen are not and entity Data SErvice"+
What I need to do is:
I have A AND B values as input to my logical data service.
I need to use A and B value to get another value C in my physical data service( type: Relational Table).
C will be physical data service (type Store Procedure) input data. The return of this procedure will be mapped in (XSD) file that represents my entity.
Does anybody can help me?

If I understand correctly, your need to satisfy conditions on parameters A and B with your table, so you can extract C as a result from the table and use it as a parameter in your stored procedure to return the result of the stored procedure.
In XQuery this kind of join looks loosely like this:
for $t in ns1:TABLE()
where $t/column1 eq $A
where $t/column2 eq $B
return
for $s in ns2:STOREDPROC($t/C)
return
<myresulttype>
<field1>{fn:data($s/column1)}</field1>
</myresulttype>
The error message you have indicates that you are trying to create a relationship function. While it is possible to express joins through relationships, you can also do joins using the Query Map editor.
The chapter "[Create Your First Data Services|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13162_01/odsi/docs10gr3/datasrvc/Create%20Your%20First%20Data%20Services.html#CreateYourFirstDataServices-CreatingaLogicalDataService]" describes how to create a join graphically using the Query Map. The only difference in your case is that you would map your join line (Explained in "Setting up a Join Condition" in the docs) would be mapped to the parameter of the stored procedure.
