"Not subscribed to EDGE," but I am!

Hello. So I bought an iPhone a long time ago and I bought a plan from iTunes. So currently, I have a legitimate iPhone plan with AT&T. But for some reason, today, I can't seem to browse the internet over EDGE. When I turned on my phone, Wifi just mysteriously turned off and whenever I try to surf the internet over EDGE, it says that I am not currently subscribed to EDGE. What's up with that?

the iPhone may say this if it has trouble connecting to Edge due to bad packets to a defective signal from a tower. This does not mean you do not have edge service through AT&T it ust means the from can not subscribe to the Edge service. Probally a bad choice of words for a "connection error" issue. reboot your phone and all should be good, if not the tower you are near is having issues

    Please make sure that the next button is pinned to the right side as there in the attached image.
    If it is already pinned, you can try removing any embedded HTML code and checking it.

    I subscribed to itunes match. I have it working on my iphone but can't get it to work on my ipad.  I did the same exact steps that I did for my iphone but when i try to turn it on it keeps telling me I am not subscribed and to subscribe through itunes on my PC.  I've already paid and subscribed to iTunes match and do not know why I keep getting this error message.  When I am in itunes on my PC I can see that my ipad is not authorized with that account and do not know if that is the problem.  If so how do I authorize my ipad?  I've used the store drop down box and choose authorize this computer but it keeps trying to authorize my PC and not my ipad.  I am running the most current version of the ipad and itunes.

    Thanks so much but none of that helped.  It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive.  I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!

    You must be signed into the mobile iTunes Store using the same Apple ID you used to originally purchase iTunes Match. On the iOS device go to Settings > iTunes and App Stores and tap the Apple ID. Log out, then log in with the correct ID.

    I have done that and it is definitely on.  My husband has the exact same phone and I upgraded his IOS at the same time, but this problem is not happening to his phone (we are also on the same plan, so our service should be the same).  Our settings appear to be identical and my phone is showing the 3G symbol at the top, so I can't understand why it won't access the network.
    I've turned it on and off twice and have reset all settings with my iTunes account, but it still isn't working.

  • How do I permanently delete songs not on my computer but are showing with a cloud (available to download).  Do not subscribe to iTunes Match.

    I have songs showing with a cloud that my son at some time purchased that I want permanently deleted.  They are not on any computer but can be downloaded by clicking on the cloud.  I want them permanently deleted not hidden. Do not subscribe to iTunes Match.

    Managing app updates with more than one Apple ID is overly complicated as you need to sign in and out of each account in turn, so you may want to avoid creating more accounts it either has been used to purchase apps. For media it isn't quite so bad, but Apple devices are limited to holding protected content from up to five Apple IDs so again I would caution against creating new accounts unless you really have to. I doubt that is the solution in this case. As given, if you hide the purchases in question, sign out, then sign in again, they should no longer appear unless already downloaded to the device, in which case delete them from it directly. In extreme cases where the device "knows" it has some piece of content on it that it won't let you access or delete the resolution is to backup the device, restore as a new device, then restore the backup you made earlier.
    See also Use Parental Controls in iTunes to set content restrictions and Sharing purchased content with Family Sharing. I don't use either of these features so I don't have any practical expereince over and above what is in those support documents but perhaps they will help.

    The password for your Apple ID and iCloud are the same if you signed up for iCloud with your Apple ID. Are you sure that you already signed up for iCloud? See also: "How do I sign up for iCloud?" http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4436

    I'm helping a non-profit get their podcast going. The problem I'm having is that the Download button doesn't do anything. But the "Get Episode" buttons do work.
