Not sure what kind of upgrade I need
I own an HP Pavillion 2511x. I'm a huge PC gamer and a couple games i play seem to be pretty laggy. Should i upgrade my RAM or my ghrapics card? And if either of these, what would be the most compatible with my computer?

I'm not sure what you need, but if my feelings is right, than what you want to do is sort of motion detector based on PIR sensor and some ucontroller. It this is what you need, than once again, such a question is rather suitable for other discussion forums, like LabVIEW Embedded.
However, in general you can go for ARM or Blackfin when thinking about embedded platform. See following links to get more ingormation on ARM and Blackfin with LabVIEW:

With choosing sensor, I suggest simple googling - with relativly little effort you can find many sensors. And you can pick on specification and requirements you have (just to note, National Instruments is not producing and usualy not selling sensors).

I am trying to decide which OS to upgrade to because I am not sure what my computer will handle and I don't want to pay to upgrade to a version that I do not have the hardware to support (i.e. memory or CPU speed). I tried to install Turbo Tax and I was told I needed 10.7 or higher. Could you please help. I have an iMac and my OS is 10.6.8 plus the details below.

I don't have the up to date system requirements to run iCloud on my mac but would still like to access my email on my mac. I think I need to update my settings, but am not sure what to do. Can anyone help. thanks

If you haven't done so already you need to migrate your mail account to iCloud first and do so IMMEDIATELY at the website Move
Then
Delete your mail account from Mail preferences and set it up again using the Mail Server Information.
Some users have apparently encountered issues using this information in pre-Lion set ups (I haven't), Roger Wilmut has kindly provided instructions for those who find themselves with this problem.

You posted in the PPC iMac forum, but there was not a 24" PPC iMac. There are several 24" Intel models.
To tell what memory you need it is best to check the exact model identifier, click the apple left side of the menu bar, About This Mac, More Info, System Report, Hardware and what does it show as the Model Identifier? With that you can go to either http://www.everymac.com and find the appropriate iMac and see what the correct memory is. Or, you can go to OWC, http://www.macsales.com or Crucial, http://www.crucial.com and see what they offer for that model iMac. They are the trusted sources of Mac memory. -
I tried updating my iPod 5th gen to iOS 8 but it only shows me a picture of the iTunes logo and a charger at the bottom, I'm not sure what this means or what I need to do. Can someone please help me?
After restoring to factory settings/new iPod you will then have to restore from backup
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Before I upgraded to 8.0 I could double click and see all open Apps and then close them. Now when I double click I am not sure what I am seeing or what to do?
The format keeps changing but the basics remain...in the center of the screen are large images of the recent apps which you can close by swiping up and away.

My Airport wireless is working for my two MacBook Pros and my daughter's iPod, but our iPad, Iphone and other iPod all say they need to set up an Airport Base Station but do not have the proper software. I'm not sure what to do to remedy this situation.
This might sound like a silly question, but are you sure the iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch etc.) are still trying to connect to the same network from your own Airport router, as the MacBook Pros are? If you tap Settings on them, is the network name next to where it says Wi-Fi, the right one?
I've got a weird feeling that either in the past couple of days, a neighbour got an Airport device and hasn't set it up yet (causing your iOS devices to try to help), or that perhaps there's an issue with your Airport router and they're noticing it and trying to help out, while for whatever reason, Airport Utility isn't opening itself on the MacBook Pros like it normally should if there's a problem.
If you open Airport Utility on one of the MacBook Pros, does it report any problems with your Airport device, and can you view/edit the settings on it? -
Every time I open an app a box appears saying I need to connect to iTunes to receive push notifications. I go to iTunes and I'm already logged in,so I'm not sure what to do. Can anyone help?
Use Lion Recovery to repair the startup disk if necessary, or reinstall the Mac OS X.

Not sure what drivers I need.5 I have what I believe to be a Sound Blaster X-Fi MB card, and I'm not sure what drivers I need to install. The reason I believe it to be an X-Fi MB is because ) I am running Sound Blaster's X-Fi software package by default and have not changed anything on the computer, and 2) it is obviously built into the motherboard since it does not have its own card slot. However, when I go into device manger, the only thing that regesters under audio devices is ATI HDMI audio (I have an ATI Radeon HD 4850 that came with my Gateway FX6800) and Realtek High Definition Audio. I don't know why my actual sound card doesn't register as what it is to my computer, but it is a model with six 3.5 mm audio jacks, and it is in the rear of the computer, while every non-MB version I've ever seen has only 5 or less. This is confusing the holy crap out of me, since I don't know what drivers I should download. Is this something that Gateway has to update itself, or do I have to download the drivers for the audio card seperately? I'm very confused here, and I sure hope someone can [email protected]
Umm... yeah. The link you provided is pretty much useless to me. A 30 day trial for software I already have? All there is to that that I would actually want is the files for the drivers. The rest of what's on that page doesn't adress my current situation. Let me clarify WHAT I need. I need the DRIVERS. Not the updated software in a trial version. Also, if you were referring to the driver below it... that's a no-go either. I did mention this is a legacy (motherboard) sound card, did I not? And that it came with the FX6800? If you would've done your research, you'd realize that the link you gave me is truly useless, since I cannot reinstall the X-Fi MB software, it was pre-installed WITH the computer. But is there anyway to just download the driver only and somehow reinitialize the software with just a reboot? If not, then this link is rubbish. I should, perhaps, also clarify WHY I want the updated drivers. I am an avid fan of Sony ACID, and I have an official copy that I paid for. And whenever I use ACID, the drum kits never work properly. They'll sound like an organ, or a piano, or whatever, but they won't sound like drums. What can I do to fix this? Will updating to newer drivers solve this problem at all? I would assume that the only part of the computer that can adress this issue IS the sound card, and that's why I want an updated driver set. So to be frank, what I really need is a solution to this problem; if you could give me an answer, I would be eternally gratefull to [email protected]
