There is no space on my ipad for some reason i cannot understand, like i connect it to my computer and on itunes it says i have 588 pictures on my ipad which i dont i just transferred everything to my computer but it still say that i have 588 pictures on my ipad same thing when i go to general>about on my ipad it says that i have 588 pictures and i dont.

It is possible to import the photos to your computer and they can still appear on the iPad. When I import photos onto my Mac, I keep the photos on my iPad as well. You have to delete them off of the iPad after you import them to the PC, if you do not want to store them on the iPad as well. This does not necessarily happen automatically. You may have to imitate the deletion of the photos after importing them.

No this was absolutely of no help what so ever!!!!1I have had this issue before and it was also a nightmare. I don't understand why you have to go thru so much pain until you can talk to a real person. I don't have 48 hours. I use this app to make money. I can't update it, so I can't use it, all because I can't update my info, which is clearly on the Apple side. your going to have to put the ipod into recovery mode and restore the device. Unfortunatly you will lose all the info on the device after the restore but if you have a backup for the device in itunes you will be able to get all the info back if no backup is on itunes all info will be lost you can find the backups on in itunes under the edit>
preferences>devices and check for the backup
to put the ipod into recovery mode disconnect the ipod from the computer
power down the ipod
press and hold the home button than plug the device in and the itunes should give a message that states
itunes has detected an ipod in recovery mode and must first be restored before it can be used
than click the restore option in the summary page and issue resolved

hello, normally such issues are caused by a firewall/security software which doesn't recognize & therefore blocks new firefox versions. please remove all program rules for firefox from your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.

The D810 requires Camera Raw 8.6 or later - the latest version that is compatible with Photoshop Elements 12 is Camera Raw 8.5 as far as I can see.
You need to either buy a new version of Photoshop Elements or use the free Adobe DNG converter.

Now I'm just trying to migrate everything over to the new laptop.) Even some Adobe updates won't install. CS5's automatic update mechanism is broken, perhaps because it is no longer updated and can't cope with the newer ways of updating.
So this means you will have make a list of the updates that failed, go here: Product updates
and manually download/install from there.

Also, when I do a disk permission repair, it always repairs the same applications and files. Last night, I did a disk permission repair twice and both times it took a long time and did the exact same repair both times.

Disk Utility won't repair your home folder. Sounds like your home folder permissions are messed up tho. Try repairing them this way by using Lion Recovery.
1. Restart Lion, and before you hear the chime, hold down the Command and R keys.
2. You’ll be at the Repair Utilities screen. Click the Utilities item in the Menu Bar, then click Terminal.
3. In the Terminal window, type resetpassword and hit Return.
4. The password reset utility window launches, but you’re not going to reset the password. Instead, click on icon for your Mac’s hard drive at the top. From the dropdown below it, select the user account where you’re having issues.
5. At the bottom of the window, you’ll see an area labeled Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs. Click the Reset button there.
The reset process takes just a couple of minutes. When it’s done, exit the programs you’ve opened and restart your Mac.

If you are going to reformat the hard drive, wiping out all data on the computer, there is no need to uninstall. Deactivation is enough.

If someone else set up a Restrictions passcode, then unless that person will tell you the code, you will need to restore the iPad either using a backup created before you set the Restrictions passcode or to factory settings which will erase everything on the iPad.

Recovery discs: says not the right model when trying to install

Hi I have a real problem.I have a 1330n Media center desktop. I never had to use the system recovery discs before. I bought this PC new from Circuit City when they were in business. A little info.
A few years ago HP sent me the full set of recovery discs after the courts made them supply owners with a physical set of discs and not the hard drive partition like they supplied. I never used these. I do have my system backed up with Retrospect and if I ever had an issue I always relied on that.
I just got a trojan that hit everything even the recovery partition. I needed to format and go from scratch. I knew I had these recovery discs so I was not afraid to try different methods of recovery. I was told by the anti virus people AVG to install from a Win XP disc and format the hd and start there. The discs I have from HP do not work as AVG said so I went to my Retrospect back up restore cd. It brings up my restore shell but fails to show the external drive where my back up resides. I now have only one choice my HP recovery discs. I tried to use them and they say not the right model.
What do I do now? I need to get this up so I can restore my retrospect backup.
Any suggestions?

Read the section "Error: These PC recovery discs do NOT support this PC model" in the troubleshooting recovery in Windows XP web page. Try these steps and/or verify everything is correct.

When importing a spreadsheet with redeem codes into apple configurator, it says it's not the right codes for the app. But it is the right codes. I used one of the codes to purchase the app in itunes.

I have a cart of 25 ipads with a macbook air. I have logged into my VPP account and purchased the needed number of copies. I downloaded the spreadsheet. I took the first code from the spreadsheet, and logged into itunes using a regular account (not my VPP account), and used the code to download the app. I put the app into configurator and then tried to add the spreadsheet with the codes in it. It comes up and tells me that it is not the correct spreadsheet for that app. But it is the correct spreadsheet!! I tried re-downloading the spreadsheet again and even tried re-downloading the app. So I've now used two of my redeem codes and still can't get it to accept it into apple configurator. I removed the app from apple configurator and re-added it. The error message says it's not the right codes for the app "Grammar Games by Tap To Learn" and to please get the codes for "Grammar Games by Tap To Learn." It's the same one!

It won't let me edit my post, so I'm typing this reply to add...
I tried taking the version number out of the title. It looked like there were two spaces in the title "Grammar Games by Tap to Learn". So I even made sure that matched. I still can't import my codes. Any other things to try would be really appreciated.

For anyone else reading this thread, it is worth knowing that sometimes an email is, or can be, corrupted thereby jamming the works. The solution above is good, but I just wanted to suggest another one.
If the problem arises, go to an online mail access service, such as Mail2Web.com and login to you mail account there and delete the offending message.
Problem solved.
And George, as this is all entirely voluntary, whinging about no takers may not endear people to you. Besides which, a few minutes of searching on Google would have found you a number of solutions.

Also, once I figure out how to replace iCal with Outlook/Mac on iTunes, how do I synch the phone and pad so that the information on those devices over-writes onto Outlook as a backup, rather than having a blank Calendar on Outlook wipe out all of the information on the phone and pad???

If you haven't tried already, plug your devices into iTunes, and on each device next to the "Summary" tab at the top is another tab called "Info." Click that and scroll down to Contacts, Calendars, etc. There should be a pull down bar under each category for "Sync contacts from..." and you should be able to select from that pull down list Outlook. Hit Apply at the bottom and see if that does it.

I have had no problems with the synchronisation by cord connection and iTunes between these programmes. However, a few months ago I decided to use Mobile Me. However, there were problems with duplication of calendars and then “rogue events” – which could not be deleted – even if deleted on Outlook and on the iPhone (or both at the same time) – they would just reappear after the next synchronisation. All other synchronisation areas (eg Contacts, Notes etc) work fine.
I have looked for help through the Apple Support Community and tried many things. I have repaired my Outlook. I have repaired my .pst file in Windows. I have re-installed the latest version of iTunes on my PC. I have re-installed the firmware on my iPhone. I have tried many permutations on my iPhone. I have closed down all Mobile Me functions on the iPhone. I have spent upwards of 24 hours trying to solve this problem.
What am I left with? Outlook works seamlessly on my PC. My iPhone calendar now has no events from my calendar, but does not synchronise through iTunes. Nor does it send events initiated on the iPhone to the Outlook. I am at the point of abandoning iPhones and iPads altogether. I need to have a properly synchronising calendar on my phone. In the control panel goto the "Lenovo - Power Manager" and click the battery tab, there is a maintenance button in there that will let you change the charging profile for your battery. (from memory, so exact wording may be off)
The lower the numbers you use there, the longer the battery *should* last. These batteries degrade faster at higher charge levels, however storing them at too low of levels is also not good for them... I've read that 40% is optimal, but just not realistic if you use your computer.

If it is already pinned, you can try removing any embedded HTML code and checking it.
