Not the same after using in Target Mode

At first the computer refused to link to the monitor. And failed to with other monitors as well. But, through Target Mode, I hook the Mac Mini to a MacBook, went to StartUp Disk and selected the Mac mini. Voila, I could use my Mac mini and my user account with the following exceptions: no printing services, could not search using Find or Spotlight, and no access to the network through Network>My Network (I could access the network from Connect to Server). After backing up and deciding I could be without my Mac mini for a few days, I took it the Apple Store and they replaced the logic board in ONE DAY!
The Mac mini boots up fine and I can use the monitor again. However, I still cannot search with Find or Spotlight, add a printer (error message: server-error-service-unavailable), or access the Network>My Network (users do not list) nor do a broadcast ping and see everyone on the network. Seems like it is stuck in Target Mode. I have looked through discussions and tried different solutions for each of these issues separately without success. I was unable to find a solution using a combination of this problems. And there may be more issues I am not encountering.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New this morning when reading email. A virus slipped through the SPAM and visurs protection software. Upon reading an email, I closed the email to delete and selected to delete the attachment (which I did not open), and the monitor flashed and the email appreared on the screen. Ran ClamXav which noted there was an exploit in the database file of Entourage. Here's the log from ClamXav.

The first thing you should do with a second-hand computer is to erase the internal drive and install a clean copy of OS X. How you do that depends on the model. Look it up on this page to see what version was originally installed.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a boxed and shrink-wrapped retail Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) installation disc, which you can get from the Apple Store or a reputable reseller — not from eBay or anything of the kind. If the machine has less than 1 GB of memory, you'll need to add more in order to install 10.6. I suggest you install as much memory as it can take, according to the technical specifications.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.6, you need the installation media that came with it: gray installation discs, or a USB flash drive for some MacBook Air models. If you don't have the media, order replacements from Apple. A retail disc, or the gray discs from another model, will not work.
To boot from an optical disc or a flash drive, insert it, then reboot and hold down the C key at the startup chime. Release the key when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.7 or later, you don't need media. It should boot into Internet Recovery mode when you hold down the key combination option-command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
Once booted from the disc or in Internet Recovery, launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive — not any of the volume icons nested beneath it. In the Partition tab, select the default options: a GUID partition table with one data volume in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. This operation will permanently remove all existing data on the drive, which is what you should do.
After partitioning, quit Disk Utility and run the OS X Installer. When the installation is done, the system will automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have any data to transfer, this is usually the best time to do it.
You should then run Software Update and install all available system updates from Apple. If you want to upgrade to a major version of OS X newer than 10.6, buy it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can't keep an upgraded version that was installed by the previous owner. He or she can't legally transfer it to you, and without the Apple ID you won't be able to update it in Software Update or reinstall, if that becomes necessary. The same goes for any App Store products that the previous owner installed — you have to repurchase them.
If the previous owner "accepted" the bundled iLife applications (iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band) in the App Store so that he or she could update them, then they're linked to that Apple ID and you won't be able to download them without buying them. Reportedly, Apple customer service has sometimes issued redemption codes for these apps to second owners who asked.
If the previous owner didn't deauthorize the computer in the iTunes Store under his Apple ID, you wont be able toauthorize it under your ID. In that case, contact iTunes Support.

My sound mix does not sound the same after using Compressor for DVD

Is there something I can do to maintain the sound mix of my original file when converting to the dolby in Compressor. It needs to be louder overall and sometimes the music goes way too low and the dialogue goes to soft. Sound effects were louder and now get quiet during some parts.

Hi:
You must do some changes in the standard AC3 preset from Compressor. Duplicate it, and chage the following settings:
- Dialog Normalization: -31
- Compression Preset: None
Save it and try it. You must get the same mix and level than your original.

Quality not the same after exporting movie made up of jpg images

Basically I made an animation sequence on Autodesk Maya and rendered the sequence as 2000 jpeg images each representing 1 frame, put it in one folder and on Adobe Premiere imported and dragged the folder into the timeline to make a moving image so in other words my video is made up of hundreds of jpg images.
Now on the editor it all looks HD and fine but when I export it via file > export > media, in order to match the sequence to the screen I must click on 'match sequence settings' which will snap the whole movie into the window rather than have it widescreen and once I do this I can't modify anything else such as codec, etc (codec is automatically set as MPEG -Frame and the output automatically is mpeg), is this normal? Why is it mpeg ajnd not avi...
So once I export the video with these settings (image uploaded) the quality is ok but not as good as what I see in the Premeire editor, why? What can I do to improve the quality?
On the other hand if I don't click on match to sequence settings and personally customise the paramaters such as avi, I use max settings for many things but after exporting my picture quality actually goes worse compared tomatch to sequence settings? (which has less parameters)
Why is this happening, all my jpeg images are high quality 720p and I should just be able to export it as normal...
I am trying to make a cut-scene to get into Unity so the codec is important as well.
How can I make my video best quality as possible being mpeg or avi? What settings do I need to play with?

Maybe I misunderstood, but did you actually put 2000 still images on the timeline? If so, there is another way. Go to Import and find your folder, and select only the first still in your sequence, then check the box at the bottom of the import windows that says "Numbered Sequence" or something like that. This will import the stills as a "video" clip.
Regarding Export, don't check Frame Blending or Max Render, the first being for a change of frame rate and the latter being useful for a downscale of the frame size.You are doing neither.
Also, never use "Match Sequence Settings". Leave that unchecked, and then choose whatever format YOU want to use for the export, whether .avi or H.264 or whatever.

Folders&ScreenMagnifying not the same after SnowLeopard upgrade.

Magnifing my screen and scrolling up to make the pic bigger works just fine but the screen nolonger moves with my mouse, it just magnifies ( it wont move to the left or right) and double clicking on a folder and dragging it back and forth from the bottom right corner use to make the pics in it bigger or smaller but not anymore, the size stays the same no matter how much i drag it, the box moves but the pics and icons stay the same....how does one fix this?

The setting you want is in System Preferences>Universal Access and turn Zoom on. You also have options and keyboard shortcuts shown.

Camera Raw Bug: Preview not the same after clicking OK

I am opening a Canon CR2 camera raw file. I dial in the exposure how I would like it in the Camera Raw dialog (8.8), but after I click OK, then image opens in Photoshop (CC 2014) and looks different. It looks more washed out. I took a screen shot of the image after it is opened and the camera raw dialog with the exact image. You can see the difference. I measured the pixel intensity just to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me, and the image after it opens has a different exposure.
I use Spyder color calibration and a GeForce 670 with the latest drivers.

I spent a little time trying to figure out if there's some setting anywhere that might explain this, but couldn't find anything. That doesn't mean there isn't any--I just don't know of any.
I'm wondering if you could take a screen shot that shows the stage size versus the swf size when it plays? It will help to make sure the problem is what I think you have it explained it to be.
Does this happen in all files you create or is it occuring just in one particular file? What version of Flash are you using? If you can make your file available maybe someone can see if the problem remains when they open it--possibly even track down some cause. I am unable to open CS4 files (don't have it), but if it's an earlier version I can take a look.
If you are using CS4, have you updated it to the latest release (10.0.2, I believe)? There were numerous bugs when CS4 was released, though I don't know if this would be one of them.

Save link as not the same as Save target as in IE. How do I get svat target as in firfox?

I am new to Firefox. Downloaded FF4. It is excellent except for I thing, I download files from rapidshare, etc, and Firefox is missing the "save target as" of IE. I tried "save link as", but it does not work correctly - at least not the same as IE. Is there an add-on or tweek to give firefox the "save target as"? or make "save link as" work the same as "save target as"?

You can drag them out of that folder (or use Cut & Paste) in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) to a more convenient position.

One issue is with this line of code:

Please use the following:
HMACSHA256 hmac = new HMACSHA256(Convert.FromBase64String(key));
and that should take care of the problem.

With your current approach, the answer is yes. What you can do is create a Shared Access Signature on the queue which will be valid for certain duration and then use that for posting messages to a queue using simple HttpWebRequest/HttpWebResponse.

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.

PSD file on mac, opened on PC not the same colors??

my PSD file has a specific color i need, PMS 300 in my logo. So on my MAC i make it. When someone at my work opens the PSD file on a PC, it is not the same color. why arent the colors the same?? even when i save it as a PDF, if someone on a pc opens it at my work. its a different shade of blue.

Windows based PCs are sRGB by default. Many apps are not even color managed and can't display images tagged with other profiles correctly.
Photoshop and Bridge are color managed, but what are they using to view your files?
Add to that users who are not educated in color management and you have a problem.
Those who target their files for commercial printing use Adobe RGB, a much larger gamut that will look desaturated in an sRGB environment like Windows.
So either they get a viewer that can read these tags, or you will have to send them a copy of the file converted to sRGB.
This can be found in Photoshop's Edit menu.
Edit > Convert to Profile... if your image is already tagged as Adobe rgb
You can still keep your Adobe RGB tagged files for print, but you have to explain that to your Windows users.
It's not the best answer, but might hold until all PCs are on the same page and your co-workers educated.

My data load got failed and when i checked the error message, it says " Log-on client 200 is not the same as BI clients "600"".

You are using client-dependent BI functions in client 200. However, the standard BI client is 600.

Maintain a destination in the BI standard client. For information, see SAP Note 522569.
I went through the sap note and checked the maintenance of rfc desination. But not able to uderstand this issue. Do anyone have good idea about this issue.

In BW, you must work on only client. As the error said, you log on to client 200, but using 600 client as the connected one. Please check the source system conncection whether it is given for the default client in RSADMINA table BWMANDT field or not. if not change that.
