Not turn on my cell phone Z2
Hello. I have a Z2, update it stopped working but the front camera. Following that I wanted to load the previous software, but is now worse, not light. How I can ingresarar recovery mode to reset? Not recognize or computer to phone.
Try performing a system repair as this will often fix issues after an upgrade - This will factory reset your phone
Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Verizon Safeguards "Not available for this cell phone number"
I just learned from your support rep, that Verizon Safeguards service does not work with the iPhone!. Under my Services under Verizon Safeguards, I get the following message: "Not available for this cell phone number". You gotta be kidding me Verizon...really.
I want to be able to use Verizon Safeguards and block calls a txt from specified numbers, like I have with every other phone I've had with Verizion!

This is apparently a known issue, there are a few other threads on here. But I had a chat on here with a Verizon rep who said that they personally had numbers blocked on their iPhone4 and that it had to be done through Customer Care, which if you log on to MyVerizon, the number is under Support --> Contact Us. Who knows if it actually works. -
light on iphone4 flash will not turn off even when phone is powered down, now it is overheated and says not usable till cooled, but it won't cool. I'm afraid it will start a fire. Aside from breaking it, putting in in a metal pail in the yard, or putting it in a bucket of water, what can be done to keep it from setting a fire. It is so hot it burns my skin if i touch it, so bright, it hurts to look at, so hot there is now a warning that it is not usable till it cools down, but there is no way to cool it down.
more info, this happened after update to 7.0.2, and also wifi will no longer turn on since update. I took it in to apple store, it had one month left on warrenty, and they said that it would have had to get wet for this to happen. I thought that maybe it got wet through my jeans pocket in the rain or something so I didn't pursue it. Now of course, it is out of warranty by a month.

dont you know your apple ID password ?
IF you know that, try restart your iPhone if it doesnt work try restoring your device. If it doesnt work again, you have hardware problem. Try changing your screen. -

Just to let you know that you are Not alone. This Problem happens with The various new models of RIM. Unfortunatly untill now no Guy from BB sems to recognize The Probleme. I hope some day they will react other than with an aswer telling US to recreate Or recover pur Id account.

When I first got my iPhone when I received a picture or took one I could turn phone and picture would turn to fill the screen. It will not do this anymore, is there a setting I need to correct? Ty

I have the same issue, but my screen is not locked as you instructed Little5571. Neither images or webpages rotate to landscape when I turn my phone. Do I need to do a factory reset and restore to fix this issue?

One point voice mail not sending notification to cell phone
I have been through the prompts to set up one point voice mail and even have entered the phone number to send notification to but never receive and such service. Voice mail does work and the prompt is in place asking for notification number and time to do so but again no such service.
Call your phone number from your phone and when they prompt to change password you can select set up password. You will be able to set your password and review them on your phone.

How to turn off cell phone/data on iPhone 4 but use WiFi?
I am travelling to Turks and Caicos and they do have CDMA coverage - but if I leave my cell phone on I will get charged for any incoming text messages or phone calls. Yet I want to be able to use my iPhone 4 for WiFi, which is free in the hotel Is there a way to turn off the cell phone without turning off the WiFi, like Airplane mode does? Its easy on AT&T iPhones since this is a big deal for them as their phones are true world phones - but there are times when you will travel with an iPhone 4 and can get hit with huge roaming fees. For example - $0.50 per text message outgoing!!!
So - is there a way to turn it off but use the WiFi? Thanks!!
LouVery easy just turn on airplane mode then turn wifi on after turning airplane mode on! Works for me.

Best way to eliminate or at least lessen a cell phone interference noise in a video
We shot an interview the other day and even though we normally remember to tell people to turn off their cell phones, we forgot that day. Right in the middle of a good response we hear the annoying sound that cell phones cause with wireless mics. It only lasts a few seconds, but really takes away from what the interviewee is saying. Is there a way to lessen that noise or even get rid of it altogether?

Ok this is not a conventional way but had the same problem as many others, trailed the internet, tried everything and live some 2hrs away from a nokia service centre.
my n97 wouldn't charge nor turn on whatever I just see the little led charge light on, I understood this is a software problem with the battery management program which is ridiculous but found myself without a phone so decided to remove battery and take off the plug to an old phone and connect the + and - directly to the battery for 10mins and conected the battery back up turned phone on and connected it onto the main N97 charger and hey it started normally. Obviously this doesn't sort the intial problem out but gets it bk up and running,Hi All,

Can't restore iphone from backup because wifi won't work to turn off find my phone
Original problem is wifi is greyed out. I tried several methods and I want to try restoring phone from back up. It won't allow me to because I can not turn the find my phone off because wifi is greyed out! Help I do not know if it is a 4 or 4s

Brand new iPhone 4 will not turn on...
I decided to get rid of my Tilt and go to an iPhone 4. Everthing was great for two days. I love the phone. However, I got off of a call and put the phone down. Picked it up about 20 mins later and it will not turn on. The phone has not been damaged in any way water or otherwise.
Thinking the phone is turned off,I have tried holding down the home button and the off button on the upper right hand side of the phone.
I am new to apple products. Is the phone simply turned off and I just don't know how to turn it on or is it broken?
If it is broken, I'm not that concerned because I know that the Apple store where I bought will replace it. I just don't want to drive out there and find out I just have the phone turned off.
Thanks...I tried the charger for about 15 mins before I had to go and the phone would still not power on.
I held the two buttons down and the Apple symbol did come on and the phone is now on and apparently working. It showed the battery empty. The weird thing is that when I got off the call before the phone quit working, the battery meter said over 50%. I only have a couple of apps on the phone besides what it came with. Incidentally, I am still running 4.01. I haven't had time to upgrade.
Would it be normal for the battery to just drop to zero like that?
How often should I reset my iPhone by holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons.

My iPhone 5 is not turning on after charging for hours?
My iPhone 5 is 2 years old now, and it has been having some charging problems lately. The battery would always go down to 80% and die, and then once I charge it for 20 seconds, it would be back at 100%, but it would do the same thing again. However, today, my phone died completely, so I charged it with wall charger, but it still has not turned on. My phone still has that battery bar image with the red bar indicating that it has low battery while it is dead, but it has stayed like that for hours and it doesn't seem to be charging, although it says that it is. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.

24" LED Display won't light but other functions all work
My 24" LED Display suddenly won't light (it flashes the desktop once in a while). The sound, the USB ports, and the Magsafe power all work. It's just the display that isn't functioning. 1) Is there a fix? 2) Will Apple take on the repair for the $400
