Not Valid Activation Key

Having gone through this issue several times with people from techical suuport I was sent here since it seems that have no idea of how to fix this issue.
The bottom line is I have tried repeatedly to activate my software and it will not work. They have repeatedly RESET my activation count but I would expect it ti be a one time effort. Is there an expert out therer who knows how to actually put a stop to this insanity???? I believe waht I need is a new Installation ID that will will then generate a new activation key. But with this serial number I keep getting the same ID -- which I would expect -- you know the old adage about the true sign of insanity and all....

Perhaps this information wil assist you to see why the message came up:-
Anytime you attempt to perform an action or run an application that has the ability to modify system files UAC requests permission to perform the action as a means of protection and security.
All programs are designated as Signed, Digitally signed, Certified or the provider (Publisher) meets Vista Logo standards.
"Uidentified Publisher" means the application/program does not meet any of the above critera and you install at your "own risk" and is why UAC is asking are you sure?
UAC can be "turned off" - not recommended to do so since it provides "protective mode" for IE - with protective mode IE creates "virtual" system/registry locations when you download and verifies no harm will be done by whatever it is you downloaded or install.
Majority of malware/virus/spyware infect a computer via the desktop - notice that when UAC prompt pops up that the desktop is "gray" UAC has locked the desktop pending your decision.
I normally keep mine turned on and just click allow when the system asks.
You can also do the falling before performing the install:-
Right click on executable,Click on properties ,click on compatiblity and Put a check in box run as administrator
Click ok to finish

Ready cache does not accept activation key

some half year ago everything was running perfect. Now suddenly the Ready Cache software is disabled.
Have Win7 x32 and version 1.0x running. All later versions I could not install. Any attempt ended in a blue screen and I had to go back to a restore point. Otherwise I would upgraded to a later version which does not request the activation key.
Now my question:
Can I extract any ini file or reg key from a backup image of the time when it still worked to get it running again or can the SanDisk Support do something with my Key so that I can activate the software again? I must add that I had - for test purpose - already installed the device once in my laptop. Mybe this is why my key is marked as "disabled"?

Key isn't required anymore, hasn't been used for a while. Grab the latest software from here http://mp3support.sandisk.com/ReadyCache/ExpressCacheSetup.exe and install. It won't need/ask for a key. From the support page Note: Version 1.2.0 and higher of ExpressCache does not require an activation code; please disregard the activation code insert that came with your product.

Where do I find my OEM Lenovo Yoga IdeaPad 13 Windows 8 activation key?

Hello, a couple of days ago, I received my Lenovo Yoga Ideapad 13 in the mail. I turned it on and soon noticed that Lenovo had really screwed the pooch on how they partitioned the device. The SSD was 128GB but only 60GB was given to the C drive. The rest was either on the D drive or in some hidden partition.
I almost immediately proceeded to do a clean install of Windows 8.
I procured an ISO of Windows 8 and ran through the install process. For this post, I'm going ot ignore some of the issues I ran into in this process (wifi not working by default) and cut right to my current problem: I cannot legally activate Windows 8 unless I have a valid activation key. Where is this key found?
The "About Windows 8" post on this very board says that it should be found somewhere on my laptop, but I couldn't find it. I even played with the idea of opening up the ultrabook to see if it was on the inside. I decided to hold off on this until I can get a professional tear-down guide from iFixIt or something.
In the meantime, where do I find my key?

It is either on a sticker somewhere on the laptop Usually on the bottom side of the laptop. Or it is attached to a card in the documents that came with laptop. My Toshiba laptop shipped with its Windows 7 code in both places. There was a sticker attached to the bottom of the laptop and there was another Genuine Windows Card that was mixed in with all the manuals that also contained the number. I would look there as well.

How to retrieve original Microsoft Office activation key after restoring Windows 7?

I had a operating system self-distruct and could not do anything to get past the BSOD. Using a recovery CD, I was able to access OneKey Restore which restored WIndows 7.  With my original notebook purchase I purchased Office 2010 and had a valid activation key - and have used Office since that time. Now that I have restored the OS, I don't know how to find the key again so Office won't run. Any ideas on what to do? Thanks.

Activation Key Error for Creative Media Toolbox 6

Hello,
Recently purchased SB X-Fi HD USB with Media Toolbox 6. X-Fi HD running fine but haven't tested all inputs and outputs.
When activating Media Toolbox 6, I get this error message "An error ocurred while trying to obtain a valid Activation Key from the Internet (error 3)"
Already disabled firewall and tried downloading software from Creative site instead of disk but still get the same error.
Also sent this to Customer Support 7 days ago but still no response.

I experienced this persistent problem as well. I tried installing the latest FlashPlayer a couple of times via IE7, to no effect.

As indicated in the header question, I've been unable to get PS CS3 to run (other than in "trial period" mode) on my new laptop. I purchased CS3 a few years ago and had it up and running on my former (now deceased) machine; I still had the activation key. I installed the program on my new machine (running Windows 7.1), seemingly uneventfully. But when I now enter the activation key, I get an error message informing me that the number is not valid.
Does the activation key become invalid after a certain time period, or is there something I can fix? I'm interested in upgrading, but would like to have the familiar version available until I get around to doing so (just retired; lots of time-consuming changes afoot).

"Activity type 420 1002 2393074 in the fiscal year 2010 not valid" PM03

We have an issue with the PM03 for the year 2010. "When the scheduler tries to schedule the pm..He gets an error "Activity type 420 1002 2393074 in the fiscal year 2010 not valid" The planner will close the work order then re-open it. The error will go away, but when the work order is scheduled there is 0 hours scheduled.. This will be a big issue if there are not any hours assigned to work orders.

Please maintain the prices for the activity type, Cost center combination for the fiscal year 2010 using transaction KP26. The log generally disappears after you save and leave the transaction. You will see the log again only when you reschedule the order and are in the same transaction.
Also check whether "scheduling" has been activated for the PM03 control key for scheduling to be taken into consideration for the operation.You can view the same by using the drop down for the control key on the transaction.

Product key not valid error while installing CRXI

I purchased CRXI a few months ago, but waited till I had my new hard drive in place before.
At the "user information dialog I entered the only product key code I could find in the case, attached to the third CD pocket in the case.
Result: "Product key code XXXXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXX is not valid or has expired."
However I can see now that it is the activation code for "Cyrstal Reports Server XI R2"
There are stickers in the case with a shorter code "14-5XXX8-0XXXXE" I had also tried this code, but the error is the same.
I hope I don't need an ealier vesrion of CR in place. I hace CR9, however it is not here with me at this time.
Any ideas

I think you still have to install a profile on the device with that type of license... no?

I have created a sharepoint application page to access an active end point on ADFS and establish a fedauth session. All works well in single server. But when the page runs behind load balancer with 2 servers, it fails with key not valid for use in specified
state exception. Stickiness is enabled on load balancer. verified that.
I had made few changes to config file in microsoft.identitymodel section to accomodate adfs custom login. This included removing securitytokenhandlers and issuertokenresolvers as well. Is this impacting the encryption/decryption in anyway?
Any pointers would help.

As I understand, you encountered the error “Key not valid for use in specified state” when ADFS custom login.
In order to run in Windows Azure Web Sites a Web application which uses WIF for handling authentication, you must change the default cookie protection method (DPAPI, not available on Windows Azure Web Sites) to something that will work in a farmed environment
and with the IIS’ user profile load turned off.
1. If you are using the Identity and Access Tools for VS2012, just go to the Configuration tab and check the box “Enable Web farm ready cookies”.
2. If you want to do things by hand, add the following code snippet in your system.identitymodel/identityConfiguration element:

Adobe products (CS6) doesn't function anymore, all reseted to trials. Activation keys not accepted.

I'm a teacher at the Hague University in the Netherlands and I also bought the Adobe CS6 Master Collection, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Captivate 6 and it worked nice when I installed it in December 2012. But this morning all my Adobe software doesn't function anymore, I get the message that it is a trial version and it will only work for 30 days. This whole morning I am busy to get the software back to work, but also when I reinstall it and type the proper activation keys which also can be found in my Adobe-account, it says that the serials are invalid. Could I please get some support to solve this problem?

As a teacher at a high school I experience the same problem. The problem is caused by a new licencing policy Adobe forced into place with CS6 products. The licenses you have are only valid for one year. Moreover they are actually valid for less than one year, since projects in Captivate created in the trial version mode you describe will have an expiration date. This will, in the very near future, result in non functioning projects/packages. The only way to overcome this problem is to renew your license, and republish the projects in the newly licensed product.
I can understand that Adobe wants to get more revenue out of their products. I however do not understand that a license, said to be valid for one year, will not provide a workable solution throughout this full year. A very strange policy indeed!

I have Photshop CS5 Extended edition but when i try to activate the key it comes with the error "Serial Number is not valid for this product". The product has been activated two times before but the installation doesnt come with the error "Serial Number is already in use" or something similar. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Fatal Error During Solution Center Install - "Key Not Valid for Specified State"

I have encountered an error while trying to install HP Solution Center for my J6480 All-In-One. The software I'm installing is "OJJ6400_Full_10.exe"
I can get past the installation option selections (i.e., the screens that allow selection of which components you want installed) as well the online check for updates to the software. However, shortly after that I get a fatal error the full text of which are:
Error Situation Code: 23551631
The following lines were retrieved from the installation error logs.

At this time I am going to have you unlock the hidden System Administrator Account and attempt an install under there. Ideally, if everything installs fine you should be able to log back into your normal User Account and the complete software and driver package for your HP Officejet J6480 All-in-One Printer will be installed and functional. Can I please have you follow the steps below.
Step 1: Uninstall Drivers:
Click on your Start menu
Select All Programs
Select the HP folder
Select your HP Officejet
Select Uninstall
Please follow any onscreen prompts to complete the uninstall. Once the uninstall is complete please proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Clear Temp Files:
Click on your Start menu
In the 'search programs and files' box located right above Start after you click on it, type %temp% and hit enter on your keyboard
When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will now highlight.
Select the 'delete' button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains temporary internet files. No actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting the Temp files. Should a Temp file still be used than you will automatically get the pop up to 'skip' that item.
Close the Temp folder once it is emptied
Right click the Recycling Bin on your desktop and select Empty Recycling Bin
Step 3: Unlock System Administrator Account:
Click on your Start menu and under the 'search programs and files' box type CMD
CMD will populate as a search option above, just right click on it and 'run as administrator'
Once CMD (Command Prompt) opens, type net user administrator /active:yes and hit enter
Next, close CMD and restart your computer
When your computer comes on log into the new Account that should show. It will be called Administrator and will not have a password on it.
If your computer automatically logs into your account after restart than go to your start menu click the arrow beside 'shutdown' and choose 'switch user'. Now log into the Administrator Account we just unlocked
Step 4: Install Device:
Under the Administrator Account please click here to download the latest drivers for your printer.
Once the website opens select the Download button on the top left
Once the download is complete please follow the onscreen instructions to install your printer
Once the installation is complete, please test the functions of your HP Officejet to ensure that everything is functioning properly now. If everything installs fine, log out of the Administrator Account and back into your normal User Account. All the Software and Drivers for your product should show installed now on your Account. Once you're logged into your User Account please test your HP Officejet again to verify that your print and scan functions are still working.
If everything works fine, you will want to Hide the Administrator Account.
Go to your Start menu and under the 'search programs and files' box type CMD
CMD will populate as a search option above, just right click on it and 'run as administrator'
Once CMD (Command Prompt) opens, type net user administrator /active:no and hit enter
Next, close CMD and restart your computer

have you installed the server using evluation edition.then you can convert it using dism.exe
