    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

If you're running Windows try going to Start | Run and type in (w/o quotes) "%temp%".
That should open the temp directory where the software may be trying to install to. If the folder isn't empty delete it's contents and try again.

  • MOZCRT19.dll is not valid windows image. please check against your installation disktte

MOZCRT19.dll is not valid windows image. please check against your installation disktte. Please help me in this.
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
    == User Agent ==
    Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1)

This is because mozcrt19.dll file is missing or corrupted. You can replace the corrupted file by following these steps.
Step 1. You can download mozcrt19.dll here:
    <del>http://dllcentral<i></i>.com/mozcrt19<i></i>.dll/8<i></i>.00<i></i>.0000/</del>
Step 2. Now navigate the following path:
C:/ Program Files / Mozilla Firefox
Note: C: Drive is the drive where windows is installed.
Step 3. Now restore mozcrt19.dll file in “Mozilla Firefox” folder.
Step 4. Restart your Mozilla Firefox browser. It will work fine.

  • I recently had an update to firefox and now cannot use it at all. Apparently a 'bad image' not valid Windows image. Help.

I recently had an update to my Firefox account and since then cannot use it at all. When I try to a window opens which says the following:
The application or DLL C:/Program Files/Mozilla/Firefox/xul.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check your installation diskette.

    Please do the following.
Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.17] and download it to the desktop.
Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to '''Mozilla Firefox '''and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (''don't checkmark the box'').
Then reboot and delete the folder called '''Mozilla Firefox '''at this location: ''C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox''
Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier.
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.
This is what's known as a 'clean install'. It will overwrite the corrupt files which are preventing Firefox from starting.

  • Itunes.exe not valid win32 application

i cannot install the new itunes update. because after i download the update my computer says that this is not a valid win32 application. how do i get rid of this and install the new update. i have tried all of the suggestions that are on the support site and still cannot get it to work.

This is a tricky error message...sigh...Let's try something first, besides the typical troubleshooting stuff.
Try setting up another User account thru XP with Full Admin Priveleges and see if iTunes and Quicktime will download and install on this account. Try saving the install to your hard drive and runnig it from there instead of running it over the 'Net.
Try completely removing Quicktime and iTunes on your current account. You may want to try Windows Installer Clean Up Utility to remove any remnants. Find out about that here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/
I would also download a free program called CCleaner. http://www.download.com/CCleaner/3000-2144_4-10315544.html
You can read about what it does from this page as well. It can help clear up some invalid Registry issues.

  • ITunesSetup[1].exe not valid Win32 application

i bought a fifth gen. on Feb 17, i try to download iTunes 7.0.2, after i click on either RUN or SAVE, the next box says "The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to RUN/SAVE this software?" I keep going and then a warning box comes up that says "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\658ZMLA5\iTunesSetup[1].exe is not a valid Win32 application."
Then my only option is to click OK, Apple thanks me for downloading iTunes7, and i'm back where I started.
i downloaded iTunes6 from a friends disk but everytime i open it, another warning box says that my ipod requires iTunes7 or newer, so...
    ...please help me.

You should follow the procedure for emptying your Windows Temp folder in this article(it's near the bottom of the page):
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93976
After restarting your PC, Download iTunes again, do NOT press Run when downloading, you need to Save it and the run it from your PC after it has downloaded.
If that doesn't work there is other advice on the same link.

  • I download Firefox and can't install it. Get a "Not valid Win32 application." I get this with any program I want to install. I suspect a virus.

No program that has not been installed will linstall. No matter which I try, I always get "Not a valid Win32 application." I also clicked the "Automatic troubleshooting information," below, and it never stopped downloading so I was not able to go any further. It seems Windows must be fixed, somehow, but I have no idea about that. I tried to install both AVG and Avast anti-virus but it seems to be too late. Whatever I have prevents either of them from installing, too.
Nothing ever popped up, including a window with Allow. As the alternative, I don't see a Help>Troubleshooting Information, either.

All of a sudden I can't use my HP PSC 1350 all-in-one with my computer -- instead getting an alert that the HPComptMgr dll  is not a valid Windows image.  Have also gotten another one re HPZENGo9.exe.  Doe anyone know what prompted this and how I can correct it?

    James,
I've had similar issues, but even worse. My podcast simply disappeared and can only be seen via searching for my name or id number. I have also noticed that other podcasts that were in the same category have diappeared. In fact, most of the podcasts that started with the same letter in my category have disappeared. So, I e-mailed Apple and got this response dated Nov. 20th. I must say, although this issue is frustrating, I've been very impressed with Pete, their Rep. Here's the core of their response:
The problem is a browse bug that we're working to fix: the browse categories are displaying, but not the subcategories... We should have it fixed within a few days.
    Sorry for the inconvenience.
    Pete
So, it appears that they are aware of some bugs. I've noticed, however, that I've lost over 10% of my listeners due to it unavailability.

  • Itunes won't run - not valid win32 application??? please help

Please can anyone help. I have a new ipod nano which requires you to download itunes 7.02 from the web rather than with a setup CD.
When I try to run it I get the error message that it is not a valid win32 application. Not very techy so can't even begin to work out what to do...please help

I had exactly the same problem, however I've now managed to install itunes. After following all the tips and hints about removing quicktime and earlier version of itunes
I went onto the download page for itunes 7.2 and chose to save the setup to my desktop. after a short time the download said it was completed and when i tried to open it it came up with th error " not a valid win32 application". I clicked "ok" on the warning message and immediately chose to download itunes again, I again chose to save it to my desktop but changed the name of the download to "itunes setup1". Again after a short time the download completed and again gave the error " not a valid win32 application" when i tried to intall it. I followed the above step several times again but each time changed the save setup name, so it went itunes setup2, itunes setup3, and eventually on the fourth attempt the download took around 30 mins for the full 35.1mb download and this time the icon for the download on my desktop instead of being an empty white box was infact a box with a music note and cd, and I'm glad to say after messing about for 4 hours downloaded and my new ipod shuffle is now complete with 250 songs on. I hope this helps.

I have the same error message I cannot get the link of yours to open. everytime I click update itunes I get an error last time I had to uninstall everything cause itunes would not install and the old version wouldn't run after trying to install the new version. Same error again win32. I do not want to have to throw all my CD's on the laptop again. I want to correct this error. But i will never update itunes again after this if I can correct the error. Never again. Please help how do i correct the win32 application error.

  • Everytime I click on something in Firefox I get system23/yehmyv.dll not valid windows image. What do I do?

I tried updating Firefox but still get the same message. When I used Explorer (YUCK) I did not get the message even though I went to some of the same sites. The entire message reads: DLL C:/WINDOWS/system32/yehmyv.dll (should be back slashes) If I click ok it goes away but comes back almost everytime I click on a link. I can work with it but it is annoying and I'm worried about potential problems cropping up. I ran spyware and checked my firewall. Don't know what to do next

Also do a malware check with some malware scan programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.<br />

  • *.exe is not a valid win32 application error message

When I download updates I cannot install them.  I get the error message that they are not valid Win32 applications, which I know is not correct.  This is apparently a common problem with Windows 7, and nobody has come up with a solution in the
    forums.
    Any ideas?

OK.  I think I figured it out.  Neither the forums nor MS were of any help whatsoever.  In my case, my recollection was that the problem started at about the same time I had an infection, and installed antivirus SW (Ad Aware), which fixed
the problem.  Today, I unistalled Ad Aware, and voila! the *.exe files download and run as they had before the problem arose.
