No prob to transfer songs it does it by itself (itunes) But pics or videos it doesn't work. I have quictime pro that i paid with my CC. First when i plug ipod, itunes doesnt see ipod connected BUT pc does see ipod connected. a few secs later pc doesn'T see ipod connected and itunes now sees ipod connected
...never both at the same time...
my 3rd ipod in 3 days. I did the 5 r's numerous times and factory reset and ipod cache and scroll my back puter from last week. I get the error cannot wirte or read on rene ipod when try to transfer photos....
i added vids in tunes but it says transfering to ipod but i don't see anything in ipod at all sorry if takes long to read.
Everything up to date in my pc don't need drivers.

Same thing nothing at all. But i got some good news for a few secs my ipod was frozen and my computer saw ipod connected so i took a clip from my itunes and drop and drag onto the ltter f: my ipod and now it is on it and able to see it.... so i guess my problem all along is that i have an error of connection between my ipod and my pc.
So i have to find out why my pc sees ipod for a few secs and then doesn't see it ...do i make sense ?? THanks alot but if you can help me out with the issue that would be nice....tahnsk alot again.

Both you and the recipient have to have active data connections, and both devices have to have iOS 5 or higher to be able to use iMessage. Also, they both have to have iMessage activated. If that is already the case, there is a possiblility that iMessage is down. It has gone up and down several times in the past week. Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Mail does not work with ONLY ONE e-mail address

I am using mail with 6 different e-mail addresses all using godaddy as my mail server. Some(4) are imap, some(2) are pop3.
All of my e-mails work great except for 1 (which is imap). My iPhone and iPad as well as entourage all work for this e-mail address. It is only Mail that does nto work all the time.
This is the frustrating part. It works some times, and not others. No rhyme or reason to it. When it is not working, the only way to make it work right away is to delete the account and re-install the account. Some times, it will just start working on it's own. The worst part, is whenever I bring it in to a genius to look at it, it starts working, and of course, they say nothing is wrong.
Any thoughts on how to fix this???

Okay, it works the same way for me. I'm not sure whether "open all" will come back in that case, where there's only one bookmark. Does it slow down your workflow a lot to middle-click on the bookmark itself instead of on the folder?

There is no Apple here, this is a user to user forum. When you said you restored, then you restore as NEW?

When I try calling someone it beeps twice and says 'call failed' also when someone tries calling me it does not come through. Also SMS/MMS cannot be sent or recieved. Only mobile internet is working

The specific ringtone I assigned to a contact is not working. Only the default ringtone sounds off.

I'm using an iPhone 5s. The app I'm using on my iPhone is simply titled Ringtones with an orange music note inside a grey circle. I have assigned certain app created ringtones to specific contacts. However when one of those contacts calls me ONLY the main / general / default ringtone sounds off. I know the tones work because if they are assigned as the default ringtone that specific tone plays. I have tried other ringtones that were included on the iPhone (NOT app created) and those work when assigned to contacts. So it seems it's only the app created ringtones are not working when assigned to specific contacts. So far I've tried to correct the problem by:
1) Removing ringtones from phone and then downloading them again.
2) I've tried rebooting or performing a soft reset (pressing and holding the home button & power button until the apple logo appears).
Anyone have any other suggestions?

Mini player does not work, can only switch playlists by closing and restarting iTunes

For the last few versions of iTunes, my mini player does not work, only choices are large window and larger window. Also, if I am listening to a playlist and hit the pause button, then switch to another playlist, the old playlist keeps playing when I hit play. The only way I can figure out to switch playlists is to quit and relaunch iTunes.

Intermittent problem- send or comment buttons will not work- Reboot only sometimes fixes- does not happen in IE

Recently I have found that when in FB- the 'send' or 'comment' buttons do NOT work. I have also just found that the X along side a post - to get the dropdown to hide, etc- does not work either.
I have logged of and back on. I have closed firefox and restarted. I have cleared cache, cookies, etc. and then restarted firefox. Nothing works. It seems like this happened a few times and when I came back to the computer after several hours, it was ok. Most of the time I have to reboot.
While this is happening, some other functions work fine. For instance, if I click on HOME or PROFILE it works. Only seems to be the 'buttons'.
What's making me really crazy is that it is intermittent! And when it happens, if I open IE (ugh) it works fine.
Only fixes found at FB are to clear cache, cookies, etc. which I have already stated do nothing at all. Any ideas?

OK everyone - I think I figured it out!
I had the same problems:
- 'Searching' in upper left
- Inability to make/receive calls
- Inability to access the internet
- Inability to access mail
- Setup menu comes up blank
- Cannot shut down/reboot by holding down top right button
Here's what to do:
- Hold down both the top right button and the lower middle button at the same time for a few seconds and you should see the white Apple logo appear on the screen.
- Let go of the buttons at this point and the phone will reboot
- When it comes back, everything should be OK
Only other thing I notoced is that I actually watched the battery drain fromm 80% to 10% when it came back online! Very strange!

Accounts search not working for only the specific user

We have configured E.P 7.0 with CRM 5.0 and configured CRM PCUI business package.
We have role called accounts abd products in portal. So accounts can be searched in this role.
Now our severity issue is for one of the super user,for ex su1, accounts search is not working in portal but the same is working in CRM GUI.
for example if we search for an account 233445(or any other account) in portal its showing no data found but if we search with the same criteria data is displaying CRM GUI.
We have checked with other 2 super ids. Both ends portal and gui search is working fine.
Am unable to figure out whats the cause of the issue as search is not working only for one user su1 .
we have checked by restarting the server also to clear the memory cache.But still search is not working in portal.
Could anyone of u please advice ASAP as this is severity issue.
