Unfortunately you are not alone. While I got through without problem, other users of Samsung phones have reported the same problem.
reformatting sometimes fixes the card, but anything stored on it is gone.
a Bit late, but the recommendation is to remove an SD card before updating.

raadga Emails are important! Let's get your Comcast account working again. Go to the email account then select the menu for settings. If "sync only over wifi" is on then uncheck the box. If this is not an option, then you would want to delete and readd the email account to the phone. Please keep us posted.

I can sign into all my Apple apps EXCEPT Facetime. It refuses to activate and says I have no network connection. I used this all the time on the old OS. I am not the ony one having this problem if you check the forums. I am not resetting the wifi on all my other systems to accomodate my phone, nor should I have to. We can use the component substitution setup, item B can be used without any shortage of item A, Or in other words we require a functionality to allocate the percentage of supplies to manufacturing Jobs, e.g. with a setup, the supply will be distributed to item A and B for 75% and 25% to Manufacturing jobs & when we drill down in each Job order, both items will be used as 75% and 25% respectively.

Case 1: we have to use 75% of Item A in Product X & 25% of Item B in Product Z.
Case 2: we have to use 75% of Item B in Product Z & 25% of Item A in Product X
Further pls guide how we can setup the BOM to have for each unit of end item -> 0.75 usage of item A and 0.25 usage of item B

Yes my particular issue is not like yours. However, there have been many other laptop users experiencing similar problem to yours after 3.10 kernel. Mostly it seems to be bumblebee users that experience your problem with the blank screen. We do know that nvidia have yet to make their official drivers work with kernel 3.10 and up. The drivers in the Arch repository have been patched to work with 3.10. From what I have seen, this also only seem to be affecting laptops with newer nvidia gpu's. I fear there is not much to do with this problem until nvidia give official 3.10 kernel support.
My suggestion would be to stick with 3.9.9 kernel and the drivers that work with it, and don't upgrade those packages until nvidia has addressed these issues. If you have a look at the nvidia forums you will see quite a number of topics mentioning black screen when starting x on 3.10 kernel, and also a thread for the system dying. Reading some of the threads there may help you keep up to date on whether or not the issue seem to be solved.

Notice for 2 Updates Needed for Note 3 Lollipop Update

This morning I had an update notice on my Galaxy Note 3saying I had an update available which I took care of right away. It also said that this was 1 of 2 updates in preparation of Lollipop 5.0. After the rather small update, it said another would be available soon. About an hour later, on a whim, I checked "updates" on my phone and it said the 5.0 was available. I postponed this update until this afternoon. Has anyone else seen this multiple update approach? I have not come across any mention of this in the forums.

Another update on the Lollipop update: The widgets I thought were gone were just moved. Now they are at the bottom of the screen when you press the "Home" button. Otherwise, the phone seems to be operating as it should. I have noted better wifi performance in graphics popping up right away instead of slowly loading (this is specific to my crappy Comcast wifi).

When will the Note 4 get the Lollipop update?

MMS need a data plan, there are certain carriers/networks that allow MMS to be sent w/o a data plan to their branded/locked phones, you will have to contact your carrier/network regarding this.
Is your phone braded or was it branded? did you flashed lollipop ?

How to stop Lollipop update on Verizon Note 4 once it started by mistake & I pulled out battery?

My Note 4 Lollipop update started automatically so I pulled out the battery to stop it.. That didn't work after I put the battery back in.. So I pulled the battery out again hoping someone would have an answer.. Is there any way I can stop it as I've been so careful not to update and every update over the years has resulted in a disaster and Verizon blames Google or Samsung and Google or Samsung blame each other.. All the while Verizon keeps charging $50mo at least for a smartphone.. I suffered with an update 2yrs ago and they ignored me and other users.. Try setting your fonts to huge and it's only 1/64" at best.

Once it has started, it will continue until done. There really is no stopping it no matter what you do if it has already begun.

Yoga Tablet 2 Lollipop Update - Google Play Services does not update - installation error

Lenovo is investigating customer reports that after upgrading Yoga Tablet 2 8 830 or 10 1050 to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, Google Play Services does not update as expected, and shows an installation error.

To lenovo. The reason I bought this tab is that I believe it has good quality and its performance is excellent especially from lenovo. But if lenovo reasons out that they cannot override the code that is in apk itself from Google playstore. Can u provide a link or procedure how to go back from lollipop to KitKat until it is resolved? Feedback - Google Chrome tabs display not good in Lollipop update

I do not see how "advance WiFi calling has an impact on the issue with account syncing. I, and many others having an issue where applications, those native to android and third party apps, and not syncing automatically in the background when the phone is connected to WiFi.
As a result, we are not receiving notifications for many applications while our phone are connected to WiFi. This is an issue with devices that have been upgraded to Lollipop. In order to receive updates from applications, you either have to open the application and force it to sync OR disconnect from WiFi.
I've seen this to be called the "WiFi syncing bug" that was at issue in lollipop prior to the release, but was not fixed.

I did the same thing, TAC support said they've had like 20 people complain about this. He said "there is no reason to update the boot code on a 3005 model. It is only needed on the 3015 and higher models to support RAM chips larger than 256MB." TAC support said DO NOT UPDATE the boot code on the 3005.
I suggested that they make note of this SOMEWHERE in their documentation. He provided me with some hidden low-level commands to erase the boot code, but as he said the 3005 doesn't need v4 of the boot code, and the boot code hasn't been tested for it, it's possible it would just break the concentrator. He then added the only way to 'fix' a damaged boot code is to replace the entire unit. He suggested we not touch it anymore, and leave the boot code running as-shipped.

Spotify crashes a lot since Lollipop update

Hi,
I'm hoping this is a wider issue and not just my specific Nexus 5's problem to bear, however I couldn't see another recent thread...
My Spotify frequently just crashes. In addition to that, sometimes when I turn it on, the screen goes black (and you can see the green lines of the Spotify UI) however the text just won't load - for like 4 or 5 restarts of Spotify. Lastly, when it IS playing, sometimes it stutters, and you feel like it's close to crashing!
If anyone knows the solution, I'd be very grateful! I have a Nexus 5 running Lollipop... I didn't have these problems before the update, although I have had some overheating issues with the device in the past.
