Notepad AU plugin!!!

For those who asked for some kind of possibility to keep notes within a track , I found incidentally this plugin:

Exactly. I guess with apple-scripting possibilites and OSX features that I don't even know (but somebody does) it should be easy to implement an OSX TextEdit. into Logic's Channelstrip and export all notes from all (or desired) tracks (channelstrips) to one TextEdit file, so we have a complete Track Sheet. This would be really helpfull for those who are migrating with projects from one studio to another, for example when pre-mixing in Logic then moving to Pro-Tools based studio equipped with analog console, etc. etc. I made myself a FilemakerPro based TrackSheet template, but it is pain in the a** when yyou have to fill the track names two times (once in Logic, once in filemaker...). But I do believe it should be possible to create application (plugin) that will be able to read all track (Channel) names and it's settings (including plugin settings maybe?) and export it to one file -together with notes from Notepad plugin or similar "built-in" TextEdit. So we have a complete Project-Info

Assuming you have manually copied files into the hive folder and are looking to get them to the new server, copying the whole hive across is a really bad idea. What I have done in this situation (more than once) is to use a differencing app such as Notepad++
(with plugins) or WinMerge (my personal fave).
1) Copy the hive from the source server to a temp folder on the destination server
2) Use one of the apps above to compare the two directory structures
3) Copy across just the missing files from the source folder to the destination hive
By doing it this way you ensure you don't damage your fresh clean hive on the new server, and you should be able to get across the manual customizations you need.

Is it possible to create a Visual Studio plugin that can copy TFS work item ID by adding a context menu in the work item UI?

Our team is using VS2013 and TFS 2013, and in our daily work we often open a TFS query, then we need to open a work item, and we often need to copy the ID, for example, to the email.
But currently the field is read only, and we often manually copy it.
So is there any convenient way to solve this? Any built in ways?
If no, is it possible to create such a plugin?

You can try the following work around to copy work item ID
for VS 2013:
Right click on work item tab header in VS 2013 and click 'Copy Full Path' from context menu
When you paste it on notepad/email you will get work item ID at the end of the path:

For Web Portal:
Right click on work item link at top and click 'Copy shortcut' from the context menu

Why is wordpress wp-cycle plugin is not working with firefox 4?

wordpress wp-cycle plugin is not rotating with firefox 4 but does work with 3.6.10 and it works in Safari and IE. It just shows the first image but does not rotate to the others. This happens on both the mac operating system and Windows. Will there be a fix for this?

Simple way to insert custom Jquery Slideshows and Plugins in Muse

Hi guys, I know the Adobe Muse team is working hard to make this revolutionary tool better by the day. They have done a lot of foundation work to get this tool up to this state. I say congrates guys keep the good work on.
But before we get to the promised land. I know a lot of 'creative non-coders' still want to take up the challenge of doing some cool stuff spread around the internet nowadays such as jquery fullscreen image slideshow, fullscreen image jquery sliders, etc. But Muse is not there yet. I believe the next release will enable designers to take advantage of the height feature missing right now(I just believe so, no insider hint, please don't quote me.).
Okay let me not bore you.
Now I have noticed you can bring any slideshow into Muse if you have the bravery to do it. It's so simple. See this: www.dynamicarchitecturaldesign.com.
The slideshow was a backstretch jquery plugin with some custom javascript to load the page before displaying the page.
The trick is, follow the instruction provided by the author of any of this script, especially the ones relating to the jquery-1.4min.js... jquery-1.7.min.js... upto the latest version that could possibly be available. Note: Adobe Muse also have almost the latest version of the jquery plugin. So after authoring your stuff in Adobe Muse, export as HTML then move and replace any of the code provided by the author of the code you intent to use with the one that Muse generates always:

This is often placed toward thge bottom section before the closing </body> and </html> tags. Move it up to the head section using notepad or DW. Though this is not the intended workflow by the Muse team, but it gives you the edge to do stuff you want to do.

Okay Maurya, am suggesting the Muse dev team can take a cue from the edge team. In the publishing setting of Edge their is an option for Framework via CDN! Introducing this feature into Muse will go along way to enhance the workflow of psuedo-developers using Muse to cut down on web design time. if I have some jquery codes for slideshows and so on that I have lifted from some places or purchased on the internet, I can conveniently place the codes as usual where they need to be and on export indicate to Muse whether I want it to include its own code:

My Adobe Media Encoder (Premiere CS4) encodes my videos without the effects of the plugins Genarts Sapphire. I did not have this problem with CS2 and also he encodes all other plugins.
Do you know why? I really need to solve this serious issue.
Any help will be apprecieted,

OK, good. Go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\4.0 and look for two files called "Plugin Loading.log" and "Headless Plugin Loading.log" (without the quotes). These are just text documents, so open them up in Notepad or similar and compare the two; what you're looking for are references to your Sapphire plugins. What you'll probably find is that in "Plugin Loading.log", the plugins are loaded successfully--it will say something like "The plugin was successfully loaded from the registry."--whereas in "Headless Plugin Loading.log" the same plugin will be marked "The plugin is marked as Ignore, so it will not be loaded."
If you see that, let me know and I'll try to walk you through the steps of correcting it. If you like, I'd be happy to look at the log files; attach them to a reply here (they're small documents).

Adobe Shockwave plugin keeps crashing. Please read

So I'm using Windows 8.1. and Shockwave Flash 13.0.0.206 keeps crashing.
It's up to date, infact it's latest update was today. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, didn't work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Shockwave AND Flash, didn't work. I tried resetting friefox, didn't work.
Messages like "Shockwave flash plugin has crashed, continue or stop plugin" I always click continue but nothing happens.
This has been plauging me for a month now. What do I do?

Try to disable Protected Mode in Flash 11.3 and above by adding the line ProtectedMode=0 to the Flash "mms.cfg" file located in one of these locations: [46]

You need to extract the zip file on the eclipse installation location.

Lorsqu'on passer avec le pointeur sur une parenthèse elle se mettent en gras et en rouge la première comme la dèrnière. C'est excellent pour débugger.

Vim like windows notepad keybindings?

I use vim as text editor, but maybe exists plugin for create keybindings in vim like windows notepad?
Ctrl + A, S, Z, X, C, V, F for text operation
Shift + Up, Down, Left, Right for text selection
etc...

This command starts vim in insert mode (tested and works on my arch installation):
$ vim -c startinsert
You can add the files to open and other options to the command.
Ctrl-s has too many mappings used in terminals for me to suggest using it as a 'save file' shortcut. The mappings below use Ctrl-o to save a file.
:map <C-o> :w<CR>
:imap <C-o> <Esc>:w<CR>i
By default in vim, Shift-z + Shift-z will save changes to the file and exit. Hold down the Shift key and press 'z' twice. I don't think that's too hard to remember.
I can sympathize with you for your difficulties as you switch from one operating system to another. I don't like your solution but we all make our own customizations to vim.

Notepad++ autocomplete für Diadem vbs

Hallo,
ich benutze des öfteren notepad++ um für Diadem Skripte zu schreiben. Das ist besonder praktisch wenn ich mal wieder an einem anderem Rechner sitze. Das gute an Notepad++ ist, dass man sogar die diadem.chm Hilfe über einen Plugin auf die F1 Taste legen kann - genau wie in Diadem selber.
Notepad++ besitzt auch eine Autocomplete Funktion, welche sogar alle Funktionsparameter in einem Tooltip aufzeigt. Leider natürlich nur für VisualBasic und nicht speziel für Diadem. Alle Funktionen werden dazu in einer .XML datei aufgelistet.
Das ganze sieht dann wie folgt aus:

Mir ist nicht bekannt, dass eine XML Datei für DIAdem-Befehle existiert. Es dürfte auch sehr viel Arbeit sein diese zu erstellen, denn DIAdem hat mehrere tausend Befehle und Methoden.
Das NodePad++ ist sicher ein guter Editor, aber den Script-Editor in DIAdem solltest du nicht unterschätzen. Mit DIAdem 11.0 wurde ein neuer Editor implementiert, der in den darauf folgenden Versionen weiter ausgebaut und in der aktuellen Version DIAdem 2010 auch in SUD zur Verfügung steht. Unter anderem werden folgende Funktionen unterstützt:
Auto-Completion über die Tastenkombination STRG + LEERTASTE
Code-Completion über die . (Punkt) Syntax (nicht nur für die DIAdem-API’s)
Code-Folding zum Ausblenden von Script-Code von Prozeduren

Smugmug plugin error

Ever since I updated to Lightroom 5 the plugin has not worked. I downloaded the latest smugmug plugin and tried to add it as a new plugin (I did delete the old one prior to doing this). I don't get the little green button letting me know the plugin is install successfully, instead I get a yellew botton. Not sure how to troubleshoot.
I created a new folder within the smugmug publish tab and added the photos I wanted to publish. I get an error saying "Failed to create an album on Smugmug - Please try again or contact support"
when I look at the error file in Notepad I get the following. Any help appreciated.
