Notes app on iPhone crashes during initial scroll

When scrolling in Notes app on iPhone5 I reach a note at which Notes crashes (about 5 notes past the last note on the initial screen).
I can open notes okay before this point, and edit, or create new notes.
If I use search I can scroll through hundreds of notes (currently using as a workaround).
This happened a few times on my iPhone 4, but now is always happening. I have over 1000 notes.

If you haven't already, try restarting the iPhone by holding the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears> then slide to turn off> and turn the iPhone back on by pressing the Sleep/Wake again, as described on page 46 of the iPhone User Guide.

If the issue persists, provide a little more information about the issue.
Do you see the same issue after syncing Notes with the iPhone in another user account?
You can create another user account in Windows Vista and Windows XP from: Start menu> Control Panel> User Accounts> Create a new account> Log Off from the Start menu> Log in to the newly created user account.
You can create another user account in Mac OS X from: Apple menu> System Preferences> Accounts> Click the "+"> Create the new user account> Click Create Account.

My iphone crashed during the update and now it wont recover. I keep getting a message say " an iphone has been found thats in recovery mode, please restore it and update."
Every time that i try to restore it, is stops with a couple of minutes left and gives me the same message.
can anyone help?

How many times have you tried...?
Some Users have reported that as many as 8 or 9 attempts were necessary before success.

Logic crashes during "initializing CoreAudio" after installing OSX 10.5.1

Hi,
After installing Leopard (10.5.1) Logic Pro 8 crashes during "initializing CoreAudio". (Logic Pro 7 freezes)
On OSX 10.4 it worked great.
As far as I can see now Logic Pro is the only program with this problem.
(RAX works fine!)
Is there someone with the same issue?
Or with a sollution?

Althoug it turned out that I didn't had any digidesign Plugins it indeed was an plugin compatibillity problem.
Rewire was the one.
An update of Melodyne did the trick.
Thanks again (stupid enough I hadn't thought about 3th party plugin compatibillity at all)

*For people with the same problem, reading this toppic, but without Melodyne (and its update)
deleting the components from the folder
"Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/ReWire"
works as well, but of course disables the use of Rewire.

I still don't know what you mean by "icon scrolling". However, if it's something you've only seen on jailbroken phones, I'd guess that, whatever it is, it doesn't exist on a stock phone.

first i guess a need an app for android that is compalabe with notes, but what one i see a lot of them but wading through the garbage is soooooo time consuming.
when i di the transfer i get the message No notes transfered, Every thing else transfered fine

HI I will suggest you to use the Xperia Transfer feature to help transfer most of your data from your iphone to the Xperia Z3, that should also include your notes to be transfered.
Aside from that, the notes app for Xperia for some country will preload with scatch or Google Keep and some with both. Just take note of that.

IPhone crashes during backup before 1.1.2 update installation

My iPhone is crashing during the beginning of the backup phase before installing v1.1.2. It will freeze up my phone, disconnect from iTunes, & eventually restart again.
I have it plugged into a USB 2.0 port and there are no bent pins. I have Bluetooth and WiFi OFF. I closed all other open applications on my computer including iPhoto. I am currently running MAC OS X 10.4.11 and using the newest version of iTunes (v7.5).
What are my other options do I have to resolve this issue?

My iPhone does the same thing.
By comparison, my iPod has no trouble with syncing contacts,
photos, etc. but when attempting to update the iPhone,
it starts the backup phase as seen in the iTunes window,
the iPhone screen is dark. Then suddenly, the phone will beep,
its screen flashes, and we get a gray apple on the iPhone screen.
I have tried eliminating the dock. Tried two separate USB cables,
and tried the update from two different computers. Always the same result.
I have not tried to restore the iPhone, as I do not want to lose
all the phone call information. It seems to be working ok at the 1.1.1
SW level.

Macbook pro makes iPhone crash during synchronization

My iphone 4s kept on crashing during an itunes sync, but my new 5s has the same problem! So I'm convinced it's my macbook pro that causes the phones to crash. I've read a lot of discussions but none seem to fit my problem.
What can cause this constant crashing of my phones? It's impossible to make a backup, because it will crash every single time.
I've checked different usb ports, but no difference.
It maybe has something to do with my usb ports? How can I change usb settings? Do I have to reinstall my macbook?

Boot from install disc (insert disc > restart > immediately hold down c key and keep holding it until you see “Preparing Installation”) > at first screen select the language and click Continue > click on the Utilities Menu in the menu bar > open Disk Utility > select your HD in the panel onthe left side > check SMART status > click Repair Disk at bottom of main window. Run this at least twice, and keep running it until it says “appears ok” twice in a row. If that doesn’t happen, you may need a stronger utility such as DiskWarrior or if the directory is damaged beyond repair, you may need to reinstall the OS, or you may have a damaged HD (repair utilities can only repair the directory structure, not the HD itself). When this is finished, quit Disk Utility, quit the installer, and restart. Once booted normally, go to Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility and run Repair Permissions.

HELP!!! my iphone 3gs crashed during the software update. I finally managed to restore the iphone (a complete pain in the ***) and now it looks like all my old text messages were erased during the restore!
Is there any was of restoring the messages that were on the phone before the update/crash

Restore from Backup in iTunes would recover them.

IPhone crashes during internet related app use...

I am noticing that by using applications that use the internet (Safari and Google Maps mainly) causes that program to crash to home screen during moderate use. An example of this was when I use Google Maps to obtain directions. Zooming in too much causes it to just stop and crash to the home screen. Anyone else have this problem and if so how did you correct it?

I don't have the problem, but I have seen messages that say that a restart usually fixes it, and if that doesn't clear cookies, history and cache in settings/Safari and then restart again. If this also fails try to Reset Network Settings, also in settings.

IPhone crashes during updates requiring restore & going over capacity

During the last two update 7.0.3 and 7.0.4 my phone failed mid update requiring a restore. This is a major headache. I am using an iPhone 4S and really don't have the time to keep having to restore the phone which takes a looooong time.
Moreover with the 7.0.4 update the phone mysteriously went from 1GB of space free to 500mb overcapacity.
Since I use my phone near capacity this is a real frustration for me.
Usually during restores if anything I find that the software seems to compact the space used when the apps are reloaded.
Not this time.
What happened?

I finally rid the error (Windows Firewall was blocking iTunes).
I did the restore but I'm still getting weird capacity ratings. They are constantly changing too.
Now it says it's not over capacity, but I have 0.36gb to spare - except it won't upload all of my songs and it's stuck at 3600 songs. When my library was 5700 songs.
Then after that, it said that everything was uploaded and I had 14gb to spare, which changes to 13gb to spare depending on when I connect it to my iPhone. (But again, not all of my stuff is uploaded).
So I know there's definitely a problem here, because the over capacity is not consistent.

I was trying to update the software on my 3gs, but during the update itunes stopped recognizing my iphone and now the phone is giving me the connect to itunes screen because it needs to be restored. Now, the problem is that when I try to connect the phone to my pc it tells me that it's in recovery mode and it needs to be restored, however, when I click retore it gets stuck on the "preparing iphone for restore sceen" and sometimes it stops and gives me the 0xE0000065 error message. So I tried to open ports 88 and 443 and try again, but the same thing keeps happening. If anybody has any suggestions, PLEASE let me know, thanks.

I ran Disk Utility and repaired permissions with the following results:

Bought App then iPhone crashed

I bought an app for 9.99 and had it for a week or so before my iPhone 4 decided to crash and go into recovery mode. I hadn't backed up the new purchase by plugging the phone into the computer. With the reset of the phone it is gone and I am not eligible to download it again for free. I feel like this is Apple's fault. Can I do anything?

It is your fault for not transferring it to your computer for a week. You should do this regularly and include this in your regular backup of your computer as well.

IPhone crashes during restore

I have an iPhone 5s, bought 14 months ago (without Apple Care, so out of warranty).
Background Information:
Since I updated to iOS 8.1.1, my iPhone has been crashing infrequently, in: Blue screen, Apple logo, back to blue screen, Apple logo, etc. This would solve itself after an hour or two (sometimes more), and the phone would then be useable again.
However, even though it would take a long time sometimes, eventually the phone would crash again. I went to my local Apple Premium Reseller (iCentre Delft, the Netherlands), and they said I should restore the phone via iTunes. I did and it worked fine for approximately 5 days. But then, this morning, it crashed again. Same thing as before. But this time it DID NOT go back to usable, and I decided to try and hook it up to iTunes again. It wasn't recognized, however, and therefore I could not restore my phone. I called Apple Support, and they said I should put the phone into recovery (DFU) mode. I did, and it clearly shows the iTunes logo with the lightning cable. But now comes the problem:

When I connect to iTunes, I get the normal messages requesting me to reset the phone (2). It starts just fine, but when the first white appears on the bar on the iPhone, it gets stuck (while the bar in iTunes keeps moving). 10 seconds later, and the blue screen pops up again, after which it heads back to the basic recovery mode screen. On iTunes I get error 9, which shows USB connection issues. However, I doubt that this is the case and suspect that it gives this error because it has nothing else to give.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

HEy dear,
for take your device to recovery mode you have to hold home and power then release the power and hold the home for 10 second. Then the iTunes will apear.
BUt for DFU mode you have to hold the home button until the itunes recognize your device and be availabe on your iTunes but there wont be any iTunes logo on your iPhone screen everything will be black on your iPhone. Try restoring your iPhone in DFU mode.

Actually, I thnk my post is right on point. Here is my logic:
He's already move up to iCloud according to the OP. So, the question is, "What function would an icon serve?" Since the Settings selections only turn specific functions on or off, my assumption is that the OP was looking for management options and user functionality, so as the ability to add a calendar entry directly into the calendar on iCloud. As we both know, you can only do that using a laptop or desktop. Many newbies do not understand that the only way to make a calendar entry, for example, from a phone is to use the calendar app.
If, on the other hand, the OP is looking to set up an account, then you are correct.
