"Notes cannot be enabled at this time" on iCloud
Hi there
Has anyone experienced this message on their MacBook Air when turning on iCloud?
All the other apps that syncronise across iCloud are fine but when I click on the Notes tick-box, I get a message
"Notes cannot be enabled at this time, please try again later".
Well, I've tried on numerous occasions and deactivated iCloud and reinstalled it, all to no avail.
iCloud works on my other devices and Notes does syncronise between my iphone and ipad.
Any ideas?

On your MB Air ... open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Notes then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync the data.
BTW, you can check iCloud system status anytime > Apple - Support - System Status

I resent my password
Updated all the accounts and all seems to be good with the exception of the OSX Mail client

Mail gives the following error: mail cannot be enabled at this time wait a moment and the try turning on mail again
I've enable my mail again by adding my icloud again as a separate account to Mail Contacts and Calendars
Weird thing is it only has mail and notes as options.
I know this fix is a temporary hack, and I'd like to get a permanent solution
I've also been checking my credit card linked to the account pretty obsessively to see if theres any issue on that end. No problems so far.

Why cannot I not save an alias at this time on iCloud?
Why is iCloud showing me "This alias cannot be saved at this time"? It gives no reason such as server busy or something wrong with my choice or anything else. It is rather annoying.
I am using icloud.com. But I have not received the email I have others talk about that my account has been switch over. And when I try to make an alias, it says it is an @icloud.com, but it just cannot be saved.
How long is this all going to take? It is just very frustrating since the apple representative told me to delete the alias, and I use that email address for many things, so my email is a mess right now! -

Since I updated to OSX I have problem with mail and notes. Mail is very slow and I can't sync Notes. I see them on Icloud and on iPhone but not on my iMac.
Hope someone have the solution.

Updated to which version? Your system profile still showing Mac OS X (10.6.5) -
I got a new ipod touch for Christmas.
Today I was going to put music on it, i was told there was updates.
So I went ahead to do them.
My Ipod is stuck on the screen with the usb cord pointing to the itunes logo.
In Itunes i'm told :
Itunes has dected an ipod in recovery mode. You must restore this ipod before it can be used with itunes.
Turning the ipod off - the same screen appears when it's back on.
When I click restore ipod and after restore and update is clicked ; Extracting software loads up at the top.
When its done this is the message I get:
The iPod 'iPod' cannot be restored at this time because the ipod software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable.
I've been looking up trying to figure it out myself and have read making sure a setting in Lan Settings in Internet Properties has ; Automatically detect settings checked. I still get the same ipod message.
I've tried holding the power and home key to turn it off, then powering it back on. But that doesn't work.
I installed itunes today, so its up to date - I checked.
I don't know what else to do.
Can someone help me out, please? :}

The “hosts” file may also be blocking gs.apple.com.
Select the hosts file (normally you can find your hosts file at C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC).

When it gives me the list of names, im not sure what to do from there. The steps aren't that clear for me. -

Hi guys, When I try to update my iphone4s to the latest software on itunes via my MacBook a message displays a message: 'This iPhone "Seans iphone" cannot be updated at this time because the iphone software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable'. This has happened a few time s now. I have look through the FAQ's but no luck. Can someon help? Cheers

This is the iPhone for the Enterprise forum... there is nothing about the issue that appears to apply to using an iPhone in an Enterprise (corporate) environment.

time.
The error is shown only when the URL exceeds more than 1500 -
2000 something. If i remove some of the parameters to make the
URL shorter then it works fine. Is there any limitation
regarding the length(number of characters) of the URL send to
RWCGI60. Immediate help would be appreciated.

there is a limitation of the URL length. this limitation is
depending on the HTTP protocol and the used browser. it has
nothing to do with oracle reports.
a work around would transfer the parameter in the HTTP header.

I just migrated everything from an old Mac to a new one, but now Acrobat Professional will not launch. I get an error message: "Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional cannot be launched at this time......"
I used "Migration Assistant" to send everything from my old mac to my new which included my copy of Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional. I tried downloading an update but when it asked me to find the version of acrobat to replace it was grayed out and I was unable to select it. My OS is 10.9.4

Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional cannot be launched at this time. You must launch at least one other Suite component before launching Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional. I do exactly this with not positive result.

I have a report that has a parameter file. When I call the report the parameter form is displayed but after I enter the parameter values and click SUBMIT QUERY, I receive this error:
Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Oracle Reports Server CGI - Reports Server name is not specified.
If I run the report without parameter file it runs fine.
Does anyone have an idea on how I can make this work.
Thanks* Can you please tell what version of Reports you are using ie 6i or 9i and the exact version [ In builder give Help->About] . In this problem we cannot deduce anything from the version. But if it is very old, we can recommend installing the latest patch.
* Please post the full command line request. If you have used any keys in cgicmd.dat , please post the expansion of that keys also.
* If possible as a workaround give paramform=no¶mName=paramValue ... in request till this problem is resolved.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. After you update to iOS 5.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

I've been trying to restore my phone the whole day and every time that's about to finish the extration this message comes up " The iphone cannot be restored at this time because the iphone software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable"
Do anyone know if there's a way to fix this? It's in DFU mode so I can't do anything with it anymore, i have no phone.

Maybe you should check your HOSTS file to make sure nothing is stopping you from contacting Apple's servers - though if you're not looking to update you might still be out of luck. Also, maybe disable IP blacklist apps like PeerBlock just in case they're interfering with your connection to Apple.
