Notes: does the iPhone back up Notes during synch?

Does the iPhone back up the Notes during Synch? I can't see any notes on iTunes. Is there a way to see the Notes on the computer? I would like to keep track of my Notes; or some sort of text file/database with secure back up.

Why does the iPhone drop from iTunes during Wireless Sync?

Alright, so in my bedroom I have full wifi bars, occasionally when I move to the far corner I drop one single bar on the wifi but other than that, I never have a problem. Until I try to wireless sync. Then the iPhone 4 switches back to 3G for less than a second and then goes back to wireless again (still pleanty of bars on wifi). Of course, this is just enough to stop the phone from syncing wirelessly with iTunes.
I have done speed testing and local network ping testing and all that kind of thing, there is no reason for the iPhone to drop the wifi connection. I can stream netflix or hulu at maximum quality over my local wifi. Using iSSH I can VNC into the Mac without problem and using Filez I can SFTP to the mac or use AFP and transfer files without issue. I even transferred 2 Gigs worth of files from my living room to the bedroom over the local wifi with consistant good speed.
What gives? Is this some kind of strange design flaw or what?
This ONLY happens while trying to wirelessly sync with iTunes. And after, I cannot try to sync again until I reboot my phone and restart itunes.

Have you gone to the video tab (in itunes) and selected sync movies and selected the movie that you want synced?

I did check my wire-less connections and the connection from my PC to wire-less is hundred percent okay. I did search using google.com to confirm and my connections is good. My iphone 4s keeps shutting down on it's own and seems to restart itself. Pressing the home button or trying a hard reset does not turn the phone back on. Is anyone else having problems like this?

My iPhone 4s keeps randomly shutting down. It usually does this after it's been sitting in sleep mode for a few minutes. Pressing the home button or attempting a hard reset does not turn the phone back on. It seems to turn on on it's own. It has done this since I got it and seems to be doing it more frequently. I've only had the phone for about 2 months.

I got this message. After several hours of frustration...
I finally did a successful update by following various recommendations in this thread.
Maybe all or only a combination were necessary:
1) Deleted my backups. This DOES appear to be necessary, I noticed that the update was always failing when the update was going through the backup process. It was only after I deleted my backups that the update finally worked. To do this, in iTunes go to Edit > Preferences. Click on the Devices tab. Click on (select) the iPhone in the window. Click on the "Delete Backup" button.
2) Disable automatic syncing for the iPhone (don't know if this was necessary but it's one of the steps I took)
3) Make sure all your Apps are updated before trying the iPhone update. (Again I don't know if this was necessary but I did it). I updated my apps over wi-fi from the iPhone rather than via iTunes.
Important!!!!! After you run the update there will be no backup of your iPhone. You need to create a new one. To do this, right click (option-click) on your iPhone in the "Devices" list of iTunes. Select "Back Up" from the context menu.

I know it sounds weird, and that is the reason I posted my question. Because my case is not like all the ones I've found online and it's confusing. I added a screen capture of my itunes with my old iphone (the one that houses my playlists) connected to it.
My playlists "ARE" in my iphone 4s. They are still there even though they do not show up when I plug in to itunes in my computer.
When connecting my phone to itunes on my macbook, the playlists do not appear anywhere in itunes. I have found my connected iphone icon, I have clicked on the arrow next to it and it does pull up the standard lists that come with the iphone/itunes: Music, Movies, TV shows, books. That's it! below that is "Genius" and below "Geniuns" is "PLAYLISTS" but the only playlist of mine that shows there is one that I created several years back titled "90's music" and that one I created it on my computer, not my phone. Under "90's music" there are also other standard playlists that itunes automatically adds.
Does anyone else have this issue or know how to get around this. I am starting to think that I am going to have to recreate these lists on my computer

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

There is no way to consolidate iTunes accounts.
Setting up an iPhone has never required creation of a new Apple ID.
You've apparently purchased content with both Apple ID's. Sign into the device with the correct Apple ID and sync the content.

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

Place the device in DFU mode (google it) and restore as new.

You have apparently purchased a jailbroken phone. You can try to get it into recovery mode, then restore as new, but no guarantee it will work.

If it's corrupt, generally it would be lost.
However, there is third-party software out there that can retrieve some of the data, those of which however I could not recommend as I have never done so myself.
Also, if the old 4S was running a more recent software version than the current 4S, that may cause the issue however usually iTunes tells you exactly that.

For the annotations to display on the photo in iPhoto you must setup Preview as the external editor in iPhoto via iPhoto's Advanced preference pane.
After adding the annotations just do a Save. iPhoto will then recognize the change via a new modified version. You can revert to the original at any time if you want to get rid of the text.
