i lost 90% of my notes on my iphone 4. how can i get it back?

I have lost my Iphone last week. I know this has been a while, but I am desperate. I have talked to At&t and there is no way they could track my phone with it turned off. So I was wondering if there's any way that we can check the last location of the phone before it died? And also, if there's any way we can ping the phone in case it was stolen and was turned on? If you did not setup Find My Phone, I'm afraid yo're out of luck. There is no practical way to track your phone.

I have lost my iPhone 4S. I did not have the find my iPhone application on my phone. Is there any means of, finding my handset and retrieving photos and contacts?
Report it to police as stolen. No other option.

Did you try to log in icloud.com/find on your computer and see if you can locate your phone?

i have lost my iphone in barcelona-spain a few days ago but i can't seem to be able to track it on the map? what might be wrong? if the device is turned off/not connected to the internet,it can't be located? i dont know what to do? i think location services were on!!!
Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.
If the device is wiped by you or another, you may not be able to locate the device (although some have reported they can) -
I have an iphone 4 which was lost on the bus ride home from an amusement park with my class. The phone does not have find my iphone on it and i cannot track it. Is there anything you guys would say i should do to get this phone back.

Go to icloud.com. Log in with your Apple ID & Password. Go to the Find My iPhone section. Perform a remote wipe of the device.
You don't have to have downloaded any app. You only have to have enabled the Find My iPhone option under Settings > iCloud. If you did not do that, then you cannot remotely access the device.
If that's the case, then change ALL of your account passwords; email, banking, etc. All of them. And then monitor those accounts very closely! -

I need any help i can get, im having trouble with the app find my iphone. I have lost my iphone, checked on the computer, and somehow, took it away so how do i get it back??If you are saying that after signing into iCloud it is telling you device is not found, it could be for any number of reasons. If the battery is dead, if the SIM has been removed, or if someone else has the phone and they have restored it, it will not be shown. Also, if you located it once and then sent a remote wipe, it disables the abililty to locate the phone with Find My iPhone.

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Also, I had no clue that my iCloud could be backed up via cellular data! However, is this a new feature with the most updated iOS?? Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. I still get the notification that my phone needs to be plugged in and connected to wifi in order to back up to the cloud :-(
How can I sync using USB? Right now when i click on the info tab for my iPhone in my iTunes this is the answer that I get -- I am a little unclear as to what it means.

Unfortunately not. You should have turned on Find my iPhone when you were prompted to when you first set up the phone. You don't need the app, by the way: the feature is part of the phone OS. You would have been able to locate and wipe it through icloud.com on a computer.
