Notes in iPhone 4 hacked

Hi,
Today I saw the following new note in my iPhone
Some ******* broke my phone today
followed by a couple of paras of rubbish about a soap opera (Ashley and Stacey)
Can anyone tell me what has happened (I guess it has been hacked ) and what the consequences might be
I have changed all my passwords but I had written a couple of them on some notes (yes dumb).

How embarrassing. My daughter told me that she wrote the message on my Notes.
On the positive side
I realized that my security was weak (as the passwords were on the notes and i wasnt using the google two step protection)

    iPhones have not been hacked.
    The people who got locked out of their devices had their info stolen from a different service(eBay, yahoo, etc).
    They used a single password across all the services.
    You have a software issue at best, at worst your hardware is dying.
    Try a reset as mentioned above.

    It's probably because the phone was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it. The update has bricked it.

    I dont think that your iphone is hacked. Update your ios device to the newest ios version which is 7.0.6. This update fixes some security bugs, thus making your phone more secure and less likely hackable. Hope I helped. Cheers

    Was the phone hacked or jailbroken to use it with a different carrier than the one it was locked to? If it was then it is again locked to that carrier, and there is nothing you can do about it that can be discussed in an Apple hosted forum.

    Was it hacked, jailbroken, or "unlocked" by someone other than the carrier it was originally locked to?
    This is symptomatic of a hacked phone that has been updated or restored. If that's the case, it is now a brick.

    Activation requires a SIM card.
    Activation issues are almost always the result of a device that has been hacked or jailbroken. If that is the case, no support can be provided here.

    Disable your antivirus and firewall.
    If that doesn't fix it either the phone was jailbroken or hacked, or the computer you are using was used to hack or jailbreak some other iDevice.

    Y I suspect:
    1) i use whatsapp and i saw a profile picture of a friend which he said he didn't put it..(i thought his might be hacked)
    2) when i went through my photos i found pictures i have never taken and copied from any place....more over i was able to see someone else's whatsapp conversation which was screen shoted and kept as a photo
    please let me know what i need to do as i had some business documents also on that thinking iphone is secured  ;(

    i recently reseted my phone to the factory settings deleted all the content and never copied anything back,since i was having an issue with my phone were it took lot of time to type in for messeges and even it was not responding to show the keypad....anyways i still have the issue of the keys getting stuck while typing......
    now back to what you said please let me know how come the additional photos came into my photo library then??? i am sure no one has used my phone for the past 2 weeks, i refreshed it 2 weeks back...and its still in its factory condition from the day i bought all the apps are installed from the apple store too, more over i paid for the whats app application.

    If your iPhone has not been jailbroken or out of your possession, it cannot be hacked.
    Sounds more like a problem with the phone service, especially since it was a one time thing.

    I think you have serious issues here. It's not your iPhone only that was hacked but your iCloud and Keychain too.
    iCloud hack is where the danger comes from to you.
    You need to fix your iCloud issues by changing the password. Delete your whole key chain and generate new passwords using Safari, they are hard to crack.
    The weakest link in using key chain is the passcode on your device followed by the password to access key chain. These two basically give access to your data saved in the cloud.
    I strongly suggest that you speak to Apple about this, they are helpful and they take security seriously.

    If you intend to ever sync your phone with your Macbook then you can't delete the app from your Macbook, otherwise the apps will also delete from your iPhone (as you've discovered).
