Notes not showing anymore
Hello,
All of my notes are synced with iCloud and I was able to see them on iCloud.com as well before and after I have upgraded to iOS 6 and Mountain Lion.
All of a sudden, since a few days ago, I cannot see my notes in the web interface anymore. I still have them on my iPhone and it still says they appear to be synchronizing with the cloud evrytime I perform a change, but when I go to icloud.com I cannot see them anymore ...
I haven't changed any of my settings as far as I know ...
I have checked my iPhone's iCloud settings and Notes syncing is still on...
What happened? Where should I look?
It has been moved to the Notes App. I wish Apple would stop moving the furniture around. It makes me dizzy!

Hey! I have restarted my computer during the night and this morning, when I opened firefox, the sites I visited before were not showing anymore in my url bar. I did not reset any history or anything. After visiting them too, they don't seem to save in my url bar (they still don't show after I visited them). All my url bar is showing are "suggestions".

This is a user supported frum, so making threats really doesn't help, besides which it's not like any of us can really make a dent in Toshiba's bottom line despite how many people we think we can influence. Unless those people were standing in line to buy a Toshiba product cash in hand, and you pulled them out, it really doesn't add up for them.
At this point it would probably be better for you to use the 800 number. Have all your e-mails ready to forward, if needed, to whoever you end up talking to. Don;t let them off the hook. An hour on the phone is much better than weeks passing e-mails through a support site. Also contest the charge with your bank or credit card. -
I highlighted a pdf with my ipad mini using acrobat and when I got home and opened it again half of what I did is not showing anymore is it lost?

N8 Mass storage not showing anymore
I bought this phone on the 16th of feb but now mass storage is gone not showing anymore not even on PC... i did everything like installing latest software, restore, delete data and restore and hard reset but still not detecing mass storage. really appreciate if anyone could help.

Sounds as if you have done everything possible and now time for visit to Nokia Care Point unfortunately as sounds like possible hardware issue.

Calendar/All Day Event NOT SHOWING ANYMORE!!
First of all this is the reason why I bought a BB. When I got the phone in Sept all of my All Day Events would pop up first thing in the morning and not go away until I dismissed them. Now, don't know what has happened my all day events do not pop up anymore! This is really really bad. For unorganized people like myself this option was the sole reason why I bought this phone and I need to have this back!
And also, how frustrating is it that they don't have a customer support number where you can talk to an expert to resolve your problem. Thank god I am slightly computer savy.

DNG Preview Not Showing Anymore
In the past few months, my ability to see the preview of a DNG file on my macbook pro (mountain lion - up-to-date) has been lost. I've been having some buggy issues with my computer, so this weekend I did an erase/clean install of Mt. Lion, and now I'm slowly adding everything back on. I have LR 4, and the CS5 creative suite (did all necessary updates last night on all software). I kept my fingers crossed that it's all I needed to do to finally see the DNG previews again. The major kicker is that I have access to all these files on another mac, with updated software, and I can view the previews just fine on it. Anyone able to help me? I've googled and searched for hours trying to find answers. Thanks!
If the DNGs are lossy format or you haven't installed the Apple Raw file patches then it's normal for the thumbnail preview to be missing. However, you've indicated that the same DNGs preview OK on other computers. So, these may not not be your probelm. I should also mention that there have been a few similar problems reported on the Apple Community forums over the years with no definitive solution. That being said, on the one occasion I've seen it happen in the flesh was where the files were located on an external disk drive (formated for Windows). At first I thought it was Windows related but the fix then was to set the disk permissions so that all users (everyone) had full access to read and write. Sadly, this fix didn't work for others, but it's still worth a try on your system.

I can NOT take the continual freeze ups of my entire browser even worse when updating a page let alone just opening email. I closed the browser and have had to use even just microsoft or Google since this Firefox has gotten so horrible...
I clear my history and my cache so many times a day I can not keep track anymore and that is insane to have to do it as many times as I am even worse that it does not help in the least!
I have used Firefox for years now but if I have to remove it and switch to a different one by the days end I will and I will post in Facebook to all my friends who I had switch to Firefox what and why though some have already just switched to other browsers.First, that cannot be an iBook G4 as that machine cannot run Snow Leopard let alone Mountain Lion. To run Snow Leopard it has to be an Intel processor, not a G4. What does it show as the Model Identifier in About This Mac, More Info, System Report, Hardware, Model Identifier?
Second, if you have erased the hard drive there should not be remnants of any prior content. Even though Disk Warrior is saying nothing is wrong with the hard drive, it sounds as though there are problems. You may want to consider simply replacing the hard drive so there are no questions about faults. A good source is OWC, http://www.macsales.com where they also have on-line videos showing how to do the replacement.
Third, you could also try again to restart using the Snow Leopard DVD/CD and use Disk Utility on that install disk to erase again, and do it a couple times, then try to install. If it continues to refuse, then it sounds as though there is a fault with the hard drive. -
Web.show_document does not open browser anymore
We upgraded our production database over the weekend from 10g to 11g. When it was still 10g, our Forms application used to open a PDF embedded in IE. After moving to 11g, it does not open IE anymore and shows no error messages. Clicking the button with the web.show_document command does nothing. Our test database is also 11g but does not have this problem. What could have gotten wrong?
I can't explain why it seems to started failing all of a sudden. We often hear comments like this only to later discover that either someone else made changes of which you are unaware or possbily a software update occurred automatically. For example, the JRE version may have been auto-updated.
As for recoding in an alternative fashion, it will be difficult for me to say specifically because I don't know the app nor do I know your needs. The biggest, and it isn't all that big, deal will be to identify from where the pdf being opened comes from. In other words, does it already exist on the client machine or is it downloaded to the client from the/a server? Also important to know is whether or not the file name is known or not.
So, if you want to change the code, first figure out how you want the application to complete the task. Here are my suggestions:
Suggestion 1.
<blockquote>If the file (pdf in your case) originally resides on a remote server, then leave it there. The document can be opened using a direct url to the file on the remote server. For example:

Does that mean, you are running iPhoto 9.6 on MacOS X 10.10.1 Yosemite? Or are you using an older MacOS X? "New" iPhoto is relative and depends on your system.

Does "shut down" mean it crashes? Then post please the error log from the error panel here - copy and paste the report into your next answer (the first 50 lines should suffice)
Where is your iPhoto Library (Mediathek) stored? Have you moved it to an external drive, or is it still in your Pictures folder (the order "Bilder")? -

Iphone not saving cookies anymore.... I am running an IPhone 3gs and just upgraded my firmware from I think 4.1.2 to 4.3.2 (8H7). Now the problem. I spend
a lot of time on craigslist searching for specific items all day long. With the 4.1 firmware, When you look at a certain items and go back it highlights it a
different color (light purple) so that it shows that you have previously visited that item. The un visited ones ar blue. I can go back tomorrow and it will still
show that I have visited that item. However, since upgrading to 4.3.2 it no longer holds the cookie. For example go to craigslist and search for something, then
view the item, and in safari press the back arrow. The item you just looked at is now light purple, the rest being blue. Now hit the refresh arrow in the address
field at the top and the item will return to blue and will not show that the item was visited. This color change sort of checks off what i have already looked at.
