Notes Not Syncing From Cloud To Older Mac
Hi,
I have and older mac at work that is running OS 10.7.5. I have my notes synced with my iphone in the cloud but these notes don't update on my mac. As a matter of fact, I don't see any notes program on the mac. They are listed in my mail program but not updated.
Can anyone help with this?

OS X Lion isn't compatible with Notes sync on iCloud because Notes isn't installed on Lion as an application. In this case, you can't sync notes between both Macs unless you upgrade to Mountain Lion

I sync via iCloud, everything is up to date except I am running OS X Maverick, I have checked in Mail in my iCloud account: nothing there / checked in the Notes application on the Mac: nothing there. Notes are syncing in the iCloud system preference panel but are nowhere to be found...Photos in the iPhone's Camera Roll are not included with the iTunes sync process except for being included with the iPhone's backup which is updated at the first step during the iTunes sync process if the iPhone was being backed up with iTunes on your computer.
Photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera which is not handled by iTunes. -

How can restore document sharing functions to the iCloud pre-IPOS 8?

DonOkay, so we're moving forward now. no problem. while waiting for a response I noticed that both NUMBERS and PAGES sync-ed to the iCloud on iphone5. However, I am still waiting for the iPad to sync. post IOS8. Should I go get a cup of coffee or is there a way to expedite the sync process?

It sounds like when you are adding an event to your iCal (on your computer) it is adding it only to your "local" calendar, and not your iCloud calendar.
For example, this is a screenshot of the list of my calendars in iCloud.
Ensure that your iCloud calendar is the default by...
Open iCal
Go to Preferences > General
Select your "Default Calendar" (towards the middle of the window)

I have always synced my calendars on my ipad 2 ios 7 to those on my desktop mini running OS 10.6.8. Now my calendars do not sync from the ipad to the mini. I need to have them coordinated
Because I have been a Mac user since 1989, I have many, many docs that are created in programs not campatible with 10. 7, so I still use a manual sync with snow leopard and my ipad, not the cloud as it is not available on snow leopard. I am signed on in both places with my one ID and password

Bookmarks are not syncing to ONE of my Macs, but showing up on other Mac (work), iPhone 4 and iPad 1. Macs are on Mountain Lion. Tried all of Apple's suggestions - and the one Mac is still not updating/syncing Bookmarks or Reading List. What's going on? Do I have to wait to OS update? It seems lots of peolple were having issues before ML, but I as fine. Since ML, I am having all kinds of issues!
Yeah, I literally have tried everything except deleting my iCloud account (I'm close, but that would require so many changes that it is way too painful to consider at this point).
I am still waiting to hear back from Apple Support. Hopefully something can be done, or they can do a reset on their end.

What To Do If Your Mac Is Lost Or Stolen
If you activated Find My Mac before it was lost or stolen, you can track it only if it is connected to the Internet by Wi-Fi. What you cannot do is track your computer using a serial number or other identifying number. You cannot expect Apple or anyone else to find your computer for you. You cannot recover your loss unless you insure your device for such loss. It is not covered by your warranty. Be sure to report the loss or theft to the local police. Have the serial number handy. If your Mac is found it cannot be returned to you if you don’t have the serial number and proof of purchase.
Find My Mac can be used from Find My Phone at iCloud.com and via Find My Phone on your iDevice.

My iCloud is set up and seems to work. However, a newly added contact does not sync from the Macbook to the iphone and iPad. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, txstan
Apparantly it is, On My Mac contacts don't appear in iCloud, anywhere.
Put all your contacts on all of your devices in iCloud (assuming that's where you want them to be)
Go to www.icloud.com, login and see what you actually have in the account. -
"Related Names" Does Not Sync From Apple Address Book to iOS 4 Address Book
I keep a very detailed address book and have just realized that the "related names" field does not sync from my Mac to my iPhone. Does anyone know if this is a limitation of the iTunes syncing and the software, or am I doing something wrong? If this is a limitation, does anyone know a work around? This is important information for me to have on the go.
Oops -- I just had to turn iCloud on in the System settings on the iPhone, then the Contacts synched.

New voice memos not syncing from iphone to itunes

I read this on another thread then confirmed it when I bought an App on my iPhone then did a sync. At first, it appeared that the App was being copied to the iTunes library, but when I checked under Applications, it was not there.
So I went to the File menu, and selected Transfer Purchases from iPhone. It again showed that it was copying to iTunes, and this time it really did.
Not sure why it's not automatic, but it's a minor extra step.

I have 2 itunes accounts. I can no longer use my first one for purchases so I had to start a new one and it will not sync from my new one without deleting everything on my same ipod from my previous account. How do I sync between both accounts?

Audio books will not sync from itunes to iphone
I have four audio books on ITunes that at one time were synced to Iphone. Now they are not on the phone and I can not sync from Itunes, even though they are in Itunes as a purchase. I have gone to book and audiobooks and checked sync all on both.

Notes do not sync from iCloud to iPhone 4s AND Notes disappear from iPhone
My notes are not syncing from iCloud to my iPhone 4s.
I turned Notes 'off' on my iPhone (Settings>iCloud>Notes), then back on.
Now all of my notes on my iPhone have DISAPPEARED.
Restarted my 4s - no change.
I created a test Note on iCloud.com and it does not appear on my iPhone.
ALL of my Notes were only in the iCloud account on my iPhone.
Help please!Notes will not sync with your iPhone 4S, nor your iPhone 3G, or your iPad unless you have Notes selected from the Info tab in iTunes.
