"notes" randomly disappear. Any idea why?

On ipad mini i keep lots of info in my "notes" but they randomly disappear. Any idea why?

It could well be that you inadvertently hit the M key while having notes selected. It is the default keycommand for Muting/Unmuting whatever is selected (regions or notes). The good news is: in the piano roll, ⌘-A followed by M solves it, even when not all notes are muted.
Next time you notice this random muting, look in *Edit>Undo History* to see if there's a "mute note" action somewhere in the list.

Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.
Relaunch the App and try again.
Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.

Example I will text a friend...she will not see my text but the reply comes to both of us. It seems to be random which ones. Any ideas how to correct this

Yup, get your own AppleID.
The messages that are being sent to both phones are technically not text, they are Apple's iMessage. They use the data part, not the texting part. So if you have an iPad or a Mac computer, you can send/receive the iMessages there too.

I made a slide show using imovie. When I play it back on my imac, the slideshow looks perfect. However when I burned in via iDVD and play the disc, the resolution drops off. The video appears fuzzy and not sharp. Any ideas why?

When I played the dvd the resolution is very poor. Fuzzy and shakey images. I tried various solutions, Apple tec told me to go to preferences on iDVD and select "professional" to get higher resolution. Tried that but results still the same. Any ideas?

When you play on your Mac, you can have resolution up to 1920x1080.
When you burn to iDVD you convert to 640x480.

When printing, the printer should be visible if it is an AirPrint printer, connected by WiFi or to a WiFi router via Ethernet (NOT USB), and the WiFi router is capable of correctly handling Bonjour data required by AirPrint.
To determine if your printer is capable of AirPrint, see <AirPrint-enabled printers>. Even if it is on that list, it may be necessary to update the printer's firmware before AirPrint will work.
It may be possible to change the setup or update the firmware of a WiFi router that does not work with AirPrint. Contact the router's manufacturer for info, if that is the problem.
Search the iTunes App store for iPad printing Apps from your printer manufacturer. There are other printing Apps such as Print n Share, but these are not as convenient or as easy to use as AirPrint.
It is also possible to share your computer's printer as AirPrint over WiFi. One program that does this is Printopia for Macintosh. For a free solution, search the web for AirPrint Activator. Versions are available for both PC and Mac computers.

My Notes sessions since May 1 have been disappearing. Any idea why?

Thanx for getting back! I have sessions from 2-3 years ago, and also had sessions, which I had emailed, which are still in the 'inventory'.
I do use the built in app in IPad, but am not aware of any other backup (Didn't need it before..I just emailed a copy, and the previous notes were still there, for further addons)

Iphoto will not re-install after disappearing during a software update, any ideas why this happened?

Before i ran the software update i had to iphoto icons in the launch pad, both had exactlly the same content so i just ignored it for a wile till i needed to update my photos, which i was hoping to do after the update.
However when i restarted both iphoto icons had gone and iphoto seems to have been wiped off my mac completelly, I have got a back up of all my pic and videos so this is not a problem of recovering them.
i have then tryed to instal iphoto from the app store, resulting in there being a perminant downloading icon making no progress over the last two hours.
If any body has any idea why this happened and what i can do to provent it happening again as well as getting iphoto back the help wil be much apricated.

In addition to Larry's questions what software update did you apply? Do you still have an iPhoto Library in your Pictures folder? If you do what happens if you double click on it?

Now resolved, after chatting to Apple online support, who said they'd not heard of this happening - solved it quickly enough though.
Anyone interested or suffering similar I was told to remove website data from privacy tab in Safari preferences. And yes, I'd love to know how it worked too.....

You have to do it app wise, which means that the icon won't show up in settings, but you will be able to move files from your local drive to iCloud via the Numbers app (move... > choose the iCloud option).
It requires that you set up the same iCloud account on all your devices and that you have the latest version of Numbers on all your devices as well.
