NOTFOUND:Could not find the nisDomainObject for DN dc=intec,dc=co,dc=za

I have iPlanet Directory server 5.1 SP1.
I have set up the nisDomainObject and the nisDomain attribute.
I can generate the ldap profile, and ldapadd to the the directory server. The problem comes in when trying to use ldapclient. I get the following message. I have added the attribute entry to the baseDN and the rootDN, but with the same error each time.

  • Windows Could not find the Driver for your Apple iPod USB Device (5G 30GB)

    I have a 8GB iPod Nano. My roommate has a 30GB 5G Video. Black.
    My iPod syncs flawlessly. His is not recognized by Windows or iTunes. Every time we plug in the iPod, it prompts us for the driver. I tried to install the update apple mentions through the windows process, but after going through the tedious Windows Genuine Verification process, I was told that the update didn't apply to my computer.
    We use a Lenovo Thinkpad T60p, which shipped with Windows Vista Business.
    We are running iTunes 7.3.1.3, and there are no windows updates available for the computer.
    I have...
    ...reset
    ...reinstalled 7.3.1.3 (over and over and over)
    ...tried different USB ports. (Early on, we saw it once after swapping ports).
    ...tried turning off the ability of the computer to 'Turn this device off to save power."
    I have also verified that the iPod works on my work Dell Lattitude D620 running XP, and that it's not the cord, as we've used the cord that came with my Nano as well.
    So, the problem seems to be with vista, as many people seem to have had. The best thread I found that deals with this was http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=995793.
    But even after having tried everything, I still have an unrecognizable iPod.
    When I run iPod diagonostics, everything seems okay, except for the iPod connection, which says failed. I've had difficulty working with the iPod service under Computer/Device Manager - it doesn't ever seem to stop or start, with the iPod plugged in or not.
    And interestingly enough, the FAT32 external harddrive that I use to back up my data exhibits exactly the same problem ("Windows could not find the driver for your USB Mass Storage Device). This device worked great in XP, and even odder, I have a FAT32 partition of the main HD as a swap space between my VistaOS and my Ubuntu installation.
    Do I have to chalk this up to another issue with Windows Vista? What bothers me there is that you're a ping-pong between windows support and apple support - no one really owns up the problem.

    Bill, I've been stuck in this loop for 3 months since buying a new laptop with Vista Basic. I've tried everything to no avail. I don't know what else to do apart from buying a cheap PC running XP. Let me know if you manage to find a solution and I'll do the same.

  • Hi! i just bought the iPad mini 3 today with a case that supports the automatic sleep/wake lid action but i could not find the setting for the sleep/wake lid action in my settings.

    the cover i bought is from the brand called iPearl and it supports the auto sleep/wake lid action but i cant find the settings for it in my settings>general. now my iPad wont sleep when i close the lid. how do i find the option for this action in my settings on my ipad?

    The setting should only appear with the cover installed. Try settings> general> IPad cover lock/unlock> on. Thanks go to Diavonex and Chris CA from this earlier thread.
    The sleep/wake function would not show in general to turn it on. I have a Targus case but the function will not work. What's going on?

  • Could not find the enhancement for IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP

    Dear All,
    I am using message type ORDRSP, basic type ORDERS05 and IDOC function module is IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP.
    I have done all required settings and idoc also created as per standard.
    But my problem is i couldn't find VBAK-ERNAM and VBAK-ERDAT in segments data. I decided to add these two in one of the provided customer function.
    I found below customer functions in IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP function module.
    EXIT_SAPLVEDC_004
    EXIT_SAPLVEDC_001
    EXIT_SAPLVEDC_003
    But i couldn't find the enhancement in smod. Can you please provide the correct enhancement name so that i can activate and add my code inside the customer function.
    Thanks in advance
    Cris

    Hi,
    IDOC ORDERS05 does contain creation date. Check segment <b>E1EDK03</b> ( document header data segment ) for <b>qualifier '012'</b> ( document date ). It should be populated with creation date.
    There is not field on idoc for "document creator". But where are you planning to populate it. You will have to create a custom segment and and extension idoc from ORDERS05 to populate this field.
    If you need this field to reach only to middleware so they can pass along to the business partner, you can use header level text segments <b>E1EDKT1</b> and <b>E1EDKT2</b> with some unused text type to populate the user name here.
    The useexit you can use is <b>EXIT_SAPLVEDC_003</b> which is in enhancement <b>SDEDI001</b>.
    Let me know if you need any other information.

    RS

  • Could not find the Disk for the Timecapsule on my Windows PC

    Hi
    I am using a Windows PC with Windows 7 and have installed my TimeCapsuale. ALl Lights on Green and also the Connection is working. If I send a Pingto the IP Adress, I do get an reply. The only Problem is I can not see that Drive in my Explorer.
    What can I do
    Guido

    Have you typed the address directly into the address bar.
    \\TCname or \\TCIPaddress
    Please note.. a TC named Fred Blog's Airport Time Capsule
    Is going to give you problems.
    I recommend strongly using all SMB.. ie windows networking names on the TC.
    You cannot type that name into the windows .. but on the network it should appear as
    fred-blogs-airport-time-capsule you could try that..
    Much easier though to name it correctly.. eg Tardis

  • How do I install to a different drive than C drive? I could not find the option for where to install it.

    I use a solid state to boot faster but it is so small that windows needs most of it. How do I install to the drive that I keep my programs on? Where is the option to choose the install location?
    Thanks
    Chris

    Not a direct answer to your question, but...  As a "think outside the box" possibility, Crucial MX100 512GB drives are now only about 200 bucks.  Check Amazon or Newegg.
    Having your programs on the SSD too means they load much faster.

  • Could not find the principal resource for user id: paf

    I think I have set up iCal server correctly on a MacOSX 10.5.1 server (upgraded from 10.4.x). But regardless of how many different URLs etc I am trying, I can neither access calendars, nor subscribe to them. I am trying both with Safari and Firefox and iCal client on MacOSX 10.5.1.
    I have iCal service running.
    I have added the user "paf" that have full admin access, and also calendar service is turned on on the server calendar.frobbit.se. Calendar.frobbit.se is one of the hostnames for the server btw.
    I have a group called "canusecalendar" that "paf" is a member of.
    The access for iCal service on the host is for the group canusecalendar and for the user paf, where paf is administrator.
    The closest I have come is when I use a web browser and try to access any URL starting with http://calendar.frobbit.se:8008/. It ask for login, I give the credentials, and in the error log for the iCal service I see the following:
    <pre>2008-02-10 20:46:57+0100 [-] [caldav-8009] [AMP,client] Could not find the principal resource for user id: paf</pre>
    I do see tons of postings by people that more or less guess what URIs to use in browsers, for group calendars, in iCal client when connecting to an account or subscribing. Does anyone on this list know of an authoritative list of URLs that one should use here and there? The closest I have come is the "advanced" section of the iCal Administration document from Apple.

    Yes, I add users using workgroup manager, although the one I now use was added already in version 10.4 of MacOSX Server. I.e. before I upgraded to 10.5.
    Here is error.log (after that access.log):

    Did you check this
    post?
    It turned out the root cause of the problem was one of the packages that the TS called.  Even though SCCM had been set to use the selected distribution points and said the package was installed on those DPs, it hadn't actually copied the files over.
     Updating to a new source version and ensuring the files copied correctly resolved the issue.  Hopefully SCCM 2012 will do a better job of communicating a dependency problem, but I haven't had a chance to test it yet.

    it appears the majority of these messages occur when you have a system that has an expired advertisement still being applied to it.

  • FF not connecting to web- This "Network Connections" message pops up: Error 623: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection. Any ideas?

    About a month ago I could no longer connect to the internet on our PC. Every time I clicked on the Firefox icon the Netscape sign-on window would pop up. I would try to close it but it would pop up over and over again. If I tried to close it a dozen or so times eventually Firefox would open up but it would never connect. Just today I moved my Netscape file to the recycle bin. No longer does the Netscape sign-on window pop up but following Network Connection error message pops up: "Error 623: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection".. This error window behaves the same way the Netscape sign-on window used to behave. Every time I click to close it it pops open again. After numerous clicks Firefox opens up but it never connects.

    Do you have this error message on a Mac computer or on a Windows computer?
    I've only seen this error mentioned on a Windows computer.

  • Issue when installing SQL Server Express 2012 - "The requested control is not valid for this service" + "Could not find the database engine startup handle"

    Good morning,
    I'm experiencing the following issue when installing Microsoft SQL Server Express 2012 (with tools, SQLEXPRWT_x86_ENU.exe) on the laptop of my company;
    Installation goes plain until around the end of the progress bar, it stops on the setup of
    SqlEngineDBStartConfigAction_install_configrc_Cpu32
    giving 7-8 times, even pressing "Cancel", the message "The requested control is not valid for this service";
    After this, I receive one last message ""Could not find the database engine startup handle", then installation ends with failures, in particular the Database Engine and the Server Replication failed to be installed.
    I've put in my SkyDrive the error log I received after the install;
    I'm at full disposal if you need further information,
    thank you in advance
    Best regards
    Francesco

    Well, i just ran into this issue and the problem was lack of admin rights. It was my company's laptop so got the setup initiated by my company's IT team with admin rights. However, the upon completion of setup, i go the same error messages as stated above:
    SqlEngineDBStartConfigAction_install_configrc_Cpu32
    giving 7-8 times, even pressing "Cancel", the message "The requested control is not valid for this service";
    After this, I receive one last message ""Could not find the database engine startup handle", then installation ends with failures, in particular the Database Engine and the Server Replication failed to be installed.
    Also, if you open SQL Server Configuration, the status of the service is "Change Pending" and you would not be able to set the startup login type to Local Service/System/Network.
    Then, I just got my account added as Local Admin and then tried to start the service and was able to.
    However, I am not sure whether same was the case for you.
    Please mark the answer as helpful if i have answered your query. Thanks and Regards, Kartar Rana

    Althought they do no hinder me from successfully running the project. these messages are annoying. I have seen many articles on the web but could nowhere find the exact schemas for that the above elements that I could add to the  DotNetConfig.xsd file.
    Could somebody give me an idea how to create xsds for the elements above and include in the dotnetConfig.xsd.
    I understand what needs to be done but not sure of the exact way to do it.
    Thanks,

    You don't need to modify the dotnetconfig.xsd.  All you need to do is generate an XSD for your section and let VS know where it is at.
    1) Create your XSD using any of the various tools available or by hand.
    2) Copy your XSD into the <VSDir>\Xml\Schemas directory.
    3) Create a catalog file for your schema.
    4) Restart VS and it'll load the XSD and give you Intellisense.
    Here's the MSDN documentation for it: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms255821.aspx

  • EHSM - Create Vendor - error: 'Could not find a document for the given key'

    Dear all,
    In the Chemical Approval Process I have attached a SDS document to the Approval Request. You can assign a Vendor to the SDS. As there are no (EHSM) Vendors currently available in the system I would like to create a new (EHSM) Vendor by clicking on 'Create Vendor'.
    This will lead me to the following Webdynpro Application: Edit Vendor (EHFND_UI_VENDOR_OVP).
    Only one field is shown in the Webdynpro named: 'Name of the Vendor'. After typing a name e.g. 'test', the following error message appears; 'Could not find a document for the given key'. See also attached document. This issue looks like a missing number range, however I could not find a EHSM number range for Vendors.
    How to solve this issue?
    More information:
    Software Component: SAP EHS Management (EHSM) Support Package: 3
    Process: Chemical Approval
    Webdynpro application: EHFND_UI_VENDOR_OVP
    Thank you.
    Kind regards,
    Roy

    Hi
    babooraj
    This might be a problem with Windows Power Shell.
    The solution is to copy the folder: "PSWorkflow" from "C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\"
    to "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules"
    Than everything works fine.
    Ps.: @Microsoft, please fix this problem in future versions.

  • Luxadm probe / Could not find the loop address for  the device at physical path

    Using EMC FibreChannel Disks on a Solaris 10
    # luxadm probe
    No Network Array enclosures found in /dev/es
    Error: Could not find the loop address for the device at physical path.
    # echo $?
    255
    Any ideas how to fix?
    Thank,
    Marcel

    Hi Marcel,
    Which Solaris 10 release is this?
    I found a very old bug that says this problem is already fixed in Solaris 10 although the bug description says
    its mostly seen on Solaris 8 and 9.
    https://bug.oraclecorp.com/pls/bug/webbug_print.showbug?c_rptno=15123550
    The bug says that these errors are displayed when StorADE 2.1 is running its rasagent cron job, which executes a luxadm display.
    This process runs in the background so the user is not aware that another luxadm display process is running.
    Work-around: Do not run Storade rasagent cron job at same time as another luxadm display process.
    I hope this might help to debug this problem but I puzzled why this might be happening if its already fixed.
    Let me know if the workaround helps or so I can follow-up with the right support team.
    Thanks, Cindy

  • Using Project Settings creates an app.config and dozens of errors about "Could not find schema information for the element...

    I am trying to work with Application settings.  I would just like to put together a very simple example of using these, but I can't get the most basic example to work.  Virtually every tag regarding the new Settings produces an Error "Could not find the schema information for the element "applicationSettings". or the element "Settings" etc. etc.  I am not using IIS, this is not a Web Project, and I am not working with User Settings.  Just simple read-only Application Settings.  I've read every MSDN page regarding this subject, I don't see that I am missing a reference - HELP !!!
    REPRODUCING THE PROBLEM:
    Step 1. Create a new C# solution and Windows Forms project.
    Step 2. Add a reference to System.configuration
    Step 3. Right click the project, choose Properties, then Settings.
    Step 4. Using the Settings Designer, create ONE setting called "MySetting" as a String with the value "MyValue".
    RESULT: Observe the Errors like these, complaining about all of the Settings tags and elements.
    Message 1 Could not find schema information for the element 'applicationSettings'.
    Message 2 Could not find schema information for the element 'LoadOriginalLists.Properties.Settings'.
    Message 3 Could not find schema information for the element 'setting'.
     HERE IS MY APP.CONFIG, AS GENERATED BY THE SETTING DESIGNER TOOL:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
    <configuration>
    <configSections>
    <sectionGroup name="applicationSettings" type="System.Configuration.ApplicationSettingsGroup, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" >
    <section name="LoadOriginalLists.Properties.Settings" type="System.Configuration.ClientSettingsSection, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" requirePermission="false" />
    </sectionGroup>
    </configSections>
    <applicationSettings>
    <LoadOriginalLists.Properties.Settings>
    <setting name="MySetting" serializeAs="String">
    <value>MyValue</value>
    </setting>
    </LoadOriginalLists.Properties.Settings>
    </applicationSettings>
    </configuration>

    Ummmm... okay so these are Messages that are in the Error List.  Whether or not they are actually Errors is debatable.  They are in the Error List, so they are errors.
    The application runs, so my question is slightly changed to the following.
    I would like to use Application Settings.  However, having settings in my app.config pollutes my Error List with a bunch of meaningless messages like "Could not find the schema information for...".  These messages then hide real errors.
    Am I missing some setting or is there something I can do to make Visual Studio not show me these messages?
