Nothing but problems with PDF Adobe reader

Hi
I've had nothing but problems for the past few weeks I'm sure it's maybe a new software version? I can't convert PDFs to Word anymore I keep getting this error message. An error occurred while trying to access the service for all documents.
It's slow at loading and I'm looking for a new program!

Hi Mark,
Are you using Adobe Reader to access the Export pdf service to convert the file.
If so please update Reader to the latest v 11.0.10 and then check. Also make sure you are signed in with your Adobe ID in Reader.
Can you please also try signing in to the web url: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf with your Adobe ID and check if you are able to convert the file or not.

My printer was working absolutely perfectly until my brother in law recently needed to borrow my printer. He plugged in his laptop running Windows 8 (awful thing that is). Since he did this to print his own PDF, I cannot print mine.
Although all the text will appear on the page perfectly both in the document view and on actual printing, it appears that some of the transparent formatting stuff on a PDF - such as boxes you have to fill in and transparent areas (such as you find on glorious tax forms) are omitted completely. In fact, in their place I was getting a single black dot. Now, after uninstalling and re-installing updates for the printer, windows 7, adobe acrobat reader, etc.etc. I get squat. Just all the text laid out but none of the shading or boxes.
I have tried fiddling with the printer settings; the print as 'photo' option, dpi settings, greyscale - as much as I can think of and I am thoroughly stumped.
In a desperate attempt, I even installed the Universal Printer Drivers - thinking it might have been that. No. All I got was a page of gobbledygook. Consequently, I uninstalled and reinstalled the normal drivers again.
If there are any wonderful people out there with any fabulous ideas about how I can get my shading and boxes back; I'd very much appreciate it. Sadly I have a tax return to fill out (which is already fabulously late) and need my printer to work!

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!
I can see that the printer is no longer printing in the correct format after it was plugged into the Windows 8 computer! You mentioned you have run the updates and uninstalled/re-installed the printer software. Have you uninstalled and re-installed the Adobe software? Are you getting the same issue from other programs as well? Are you getting the same issues if you are logged in as a different user on the computer?
I have located the HP Update Software Utility that may be able to help. You can download an run the utility. It may be able to locate any other updates for the printer.
I would also recommend running a disk cleanup on the computer to clear any temporary files and junk files that may be causing some performance or software issues. If you do not know how to run a disk cleanup on the computer please follow this document regarding Delete files using Disk Cleanup. It is recommended to restart the computer after a disk cleanup. After the restart try the print job again!

Problem with updating Adobe reader 9.4.6.252

Hi, I am new at this so here goes.
I am having a problem with downloading Adobe Reader 9.4.7. Every time I start the update it freezers my entire computer.
The only way of fixing the problem that I have found that works is to turn the entire computer off.
I am running with windows XP SP3.
Can anybody help please.

Uninstall all traces of any versions of Reader using Add/Remove Programs

can you still get old box with DVR the new x1 system sucks nothing but problems. thinking about canceling service before my 30 days are up unless something changes.

Had nothing but problems with M-firefox 4-can we go back to 3?

We have experienced nothing but problems since we changed to mozilla firefox 4. We are not very computer literate+liked the basic style of FF 3. We would like to go back to FF 3-could we enlist your assistance?

Firefox is highly customizable and you may be able to customize it to meet your needs.

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data. See https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+Firefox
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use
your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of
installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

Problems with opening Adobe Reader 9 or pdf files

Can someone please help me resolve this problem? I had no problem using Adobe Reader 8 but since removing Adobe Reader 8 and download the updated Adobe Reader 9, I cannot open any pdf files or the Adobe Reader 9 (on desktop) without receiving the following error message:
"Adobe Reader 9.3 has encountered a problem and needs to close". I tried several times to download and reinstall Adobe Reader 9 without any success. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

(Problem with arrows )Adobe Reader doesn't work correctly

I've problem with Adobe Reader plug-in. When I have open tab with pdf file, my arrow keys don't work in other tabs in firefox, only in this tab where it's open pdf file. Also I noticed that when trying to use the arrows in the other cards, they work on a pdf file.
I'm tried to uninstall and install again Adobe Reader, but it doesn't work. Please help.

I solved the problem by reinstall Firefox, because when i turned off Adobe-plugin my pdf file still worked , but arrows still didn't worked. I think, that it wasn't problem with adobe plugin.

Greetings readers;
Recently (not sure exaclty when) I've been unable to view PDF files. I've removed and reinstalled Adobe several times now, but everytime I attempt to view a PDF document it says "Eula display has encountered a problem and has to close..." I tried googling the problem but to no avail. =[
I really need .pdf because my engineering professors ask everything to be turned in as a .pdf. I've been having a floormate help me (and by that I mean I just email him the document and he does the conversions for me), but my laptop unfortunately won't do it itself. Sorry if this seems vague, but for now it's the best I can do.

Both. Whenever I even try opening adobe it doesn't show up at all. The window will show up but will be completely blank (no toolbar or anything, just Adobe Reader at the top, and nothing else). Then after that screen is up for a few seconds, a small window pops up saying "Eula display has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
I'm using Adobe Reader 9 and am downloading regular files my professors are posting (all on Windows XP). Again I tried removing/reinstalling Adobe and still not working.

Excel 2007 formatting problems with new Adobe Reader 9.1

I am using Excel 2007 and have always been able to seamlessly save as PDFs until I updated to Adobe Reader 9.1. Now the formatting is completely messed up. I've tried several "fixes" listed on forums, including checking the printer parameters and nothing has worked. Please help!

I have FCP 6 and I've had nothing but problems with Compressor and DVD studio, I would just like to scrap 6 and move on to 10but use my same laptop, which is still running OSX 10.5.8, What do I need to do? to make this happen?

If you have difficulties fixing problems with software that is acting up I would suggest that you do a clean install of your OS and the software. That is, after backing up your files, of course.

Problem with virtualized Adobe Reader Pro!!!

We have Virtualized Adobe Reader Pro 10.0 with MS application Virtualized 5.0. Users are facing issue to open write-protected pdf with the virtualized adobe while they can open normal pdf with the same virtualized adobe. Any hints that we might consider for this issue – in the way what happens in the back-end when a write-protected document is opened? Also does Adobe has any policy when it comes to virtualisation?

How do we replace Firefox 4.0.1 with 3.6? Nothing but problems with 4.0. Firefox window is splintering all over computer screens, losing our tool bars etc.

Upgraded to the most current Firefox 4.0.? It has taken over 2 screens of our Mac Pro computer (not the computer I'm using to write this). The window splinters and duplicates itself over and over causing problems with all the other programs. It also leaves ghost lines on screen. Even though we have closed things, it opens everything we have had open the day before.
DON'T WANT A BUNCH OF CURES. Just want to go back to 3.6. If you have a link to it, please provide.

There is a problem with the adobe reader on my computer.

I am not able to read the file statement I was in because the adobe reader would not let me do so. I downloaded a adobe reader yesterday. It indicated the process was completed yesterday so I restarted the computer to be able to read the bank statement file and the same screen keep popping up. This screen reads Adobe 8 buy or quit. When I woke this morning I started the computer, the screen popped up still installing the adobe reader; so I waited for the process to complete I can tell some of the files on my opening screen were changing because I have not started the internet to the web site I am trying to read. I went to internet to the page to read the satment file and I can only read the file for about ten seconds then the same Adobe 8 buy or quit screen pop up I hit quit at the bottom of the page then the screen appear blank the previous screen is not there I wanted to read.It sends me through the same circle. I need help to solve this problem. I am not very good on the computer so if I can have a technician specialist call me to help me walk through the steps it would help save time. Adobe Reader is free. It always has been.
You have obviously downloaded and installed Acrobat (30 day trial version) and the trial period has expired.
You need to uninstall Acrobat (using the Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features [Vista/7])
Then run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
to completely remove the Acrobat installer files.
Then download Reader 9, install it, and go about reading PDFs for free.

Problem with my adobe reader

My adobe reader is switching itself off when I try to move one folder into another? So I select one of my documents and click on edit then when I select world document or any other and try to move to one of my documents adobe reader completely switching off and disappear from the screen?

The engineers have fixed the problem. We are waiting for Apple to approve and post the update.
