can you still get old box with DVR the new x1 system sucks nothing but problems. thinking about canceling service before my 30 days are up unless something changes.

I've had nothing but problems for the past few weeks I'm sure it's maybe a new software version? I can't convert PDFs to Word anymore I keep getting this error message. An error occurred while trying to access the service for all documents.

Are you using Adobe Reader to access the Export pdf service to convert the file.
If so please update Reader to the latest v 11.0.10 and then check. Also make sure you are signed in with your Adobe ID in Reader.
Can you please also try signing in to the web url: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf with your Adobe ID and check if you are able to convert the file or not.

Had nothing but problems with M-firefox 4-can we go back to 3?

We have experienced nothing but problems since we changed to mozilla firefox 4. We are not very computer literate+liked the basic style of FF 3. We would like to go back to FF 3-could we enlist your assistance?

Firefox is highly customizable and you may be able to customize it to meet your needs.
If you do not like the new UI, you can make Firefox 4 look and behave more like Firefox 3.6, for details see http://www.computertechtips.net/64/make-firefox-4-look-like-ff-3-6
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data. See https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+Firefox
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use
your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of
installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

How do we replace Firefox 4.0.1 with 3.6? Nothing but problems with 4.0. Firefox window is splintering all over computer screens, losing our tool bars etc.

Upgraded to the most current Firefox 4.0.? It has taken over 2 screens of our Mac Pro computer (not the computer I'm using to write this). The window splinters and duplicates itself over and over causing problems with all the other programs. It also leaves ghost lines on screen. Even though we have closed things, it opens everything we have had open the day before.
DON'T WANT A BUNCH OF CURES. Just want to go back to 3.6. If you have a link to it, please provide.

If you have difficulties fixing problems with software that is acting up I would suggest that you do a clean install of your OS and the software. That is, after backing up your files, of course.

Wow, nothing but problems with BB Link after update

Since the last update to BB Link which included Outlook one-way sync of calendar and contacts, have had nothing but issues.
Link won't perform the Outlook sync. Says the phone is disconnected. It isn't!
Unless I have USB mass storage on the USB connection to computer won't recognize the phone.
Backup for both Playbook and Z10 are not working. One Z10 backup chance was presented, but Link crashed half way thru and has not offered another backup since on either the PB or phone.
I changed the frequency to daily (from weekly) to see if this would trigger a backup attempt...nope.
Conclusion: Link Stinks!

I want to go back to the previous version of firefox, I have had nothing but problems with this version

before I downloaded 4.0 I used to be able to use more options with my work email, Lotus notes....now I get all kinds of errors....I never had any problems with the previous version.

Firefox 3.6 will still be supported with security updates for a while, so if you don't want to work on troubleshooting the specific problems, you can roll back.
First, make a backup of your computer for safekeeping. To back up Firefox, see [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information].
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 4, and uninstall it. Do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Then finally you can reinstall Firefox 3.6. Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, it should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!

Nothing but Problems with my Zen Mi

I just got my replacement ZM from Amazon, since my first one had a broken headphone jack. I charged it, tried to use it, but the touchpad would just barely work! I really have to press hard to scroll, eventhough I have the sensitivity set to high. Also, I was used to the middle of the scrollpad being the selector, from my first ZM. Now the 2nd one seems to have the selector at the very bottom of the touchpad.....
Now my question is:
Is the touchpad of my 2nd ZM different than others, considering
.) it's not responding as well as my st ZM,
2.) the selector on the scrollpad is at the very bottom as opposed to the middle?
As I was packing my ZM to ship it back to amazon, I noticed that i forgot to delete my mp3s... so I put the battery back in without putting the battery cover on it.. now the touchpad seems to respond like its supposed to... but if i put the cover back on, its as bad as before.. perhaps the cover bends the entire structure a bit, interfering with the touchpad-sensors?
any input?

The new firmware changes the scrollpad sensitivity slightly, but it wouldn't make a difference like the one you're describing. It sounds more like a hardware problem, especially if it will work correctly without the battery cover/slider.
I'd advise you contact Customer Support directly, they will be able to arrange a replacement for you aswell:

if you mean home sharing then
home sharing is not set on the appletv but on the itunes program on the computer which lib one wish to share
the home share password need not be the appleID password as homeshare is also meant to share your media with others on your LAN network whom you may not wish to know your appleID password
so home sharing password is set seperately in ituens on your computer

It's obvious why Firefox 4 is beta and not just a big update on top of 3.6.
First, typing text makes weird marks in front of the text cursor. Next, with every update, Adblock Plus is uninstalled, forcing me to install it again. This is very irritating, since I use it. Last, the feedback button is missing. I can no longer provide feedback with the click of "Firefox made me happy/unhappy." Why?

My battery all of a sudden after the update doesnt last past a couple of hours. Im constantly being woken up @ night because my N900 is running low; and for the record absolutely nothing has changed in terms of usage.
The email client refuses to self-update like it did prior to the update. I really dont understand this one. Again, all things in terms of my settings & usage remains equal.
No matter what I do, I cant save my adjusted icons list. I make my adjustments, push the save...and it reverts back to the old list each & every time.
And surely the 'visual history' feature on MicroB could have been made a selectable...on or off, why the wholesale removal?
Ive been scouring thru this board & cant find any definitive info regarding fixes. Any help would be greatly received folks.

The visual history is still there, you have to long press the back button and it shows up.
As for your problems, not everyone is having those problems so it may be worth flashing the device again to see if that fixes it.

Hi Koolie,
Was that speed test run wired or wirelessly? If over wireless could you try running the BT Speed Test through a wired connection? You will need to run the "Further Diagnostics" once the first test completes. Once you have done so, please post back the results.

Ugh! Nothing but problems with new X-Fi c

Hi all. Just got my X-Fi Fatalty in the mail. Installed it and now my video card doesn't work. According to Windows XP, there "aren't enough resources" for that device. I've checked IRQs, and there's no conflicts. I've disabled everything I could see in device manager. I've pulled out all my pci cards leaving the three essential ones: graphics card, X-Fi card, and raid controller. When I pull the X-Fi out, my graphics care works great. Here's my setup:

gb ram
BFG Geforce 6800GT OC AGP 256mb
(2)x40gb dri'ves in raid
Silicone Image ATA raid controller
X-Fi Fatalty card
Abit IC7-G mobo
52x32x52x Liteon cdrw

Any help would be much appreciated (especially since Creative is closed on the weekends, and I'd actually like to USE my new card).

. Yep, the onboard audio is disabled in the bios. I previously had an Audigy 2 ZS which worked fine
2. I tried three different pci slots, all with the same results.
I uninstalled the software of the Audigy 2 ZS, and "uninstalled" it from device manager, then shutdown the pc and installed the X-Fi sound card
I also have a 500w power supply (Antec).
