Nothing from Google displays in firefox home on iphone

I loaded Firefox Home today. I synced my new iPhone 4 and all my bookmarks appear. When I log in to iGoogle, I get a white screen.
My email appears for a brief second, and then the screen goes white. Google docs and google talk don't appear at all, just a white screen.
I really don't like Safari, so I was excited to see this app, but I really need Google. Ideas?

Hi!
Unfortunately this is not possible. Did you ever recorded the Recovery Key and safe that? If so you can log-in to your Sync account with it. Follow these instructions: [[How do I set up Firefox Sync?]] Specifically the section "What if I'm not near my computer?" at the bottom.
The explanation is that Firefox Home is just a client that receives information from the server and doesn't send the information back to the server, so if you reset the Recovery Key the information in the server will be destroyed and the old information will not be uploaded again. And it doesn't show the Recovery Key either.
Let me know if this helps, and sorry to be the carrier of the bad news.

I installed Firefox sync and then used iphone app called FireFox Home and I can syncronize history, tabs and bookmarks. But I am NOT able to syncronize passwords from Firefox in my Macbook to FireFox Home on iPhone so I am very terrible to input my IDs and Passwords with my hands on FireFox Home when I log into Facebook, Twitter etc... Is it issue or something like that? If you have some solutions to make it clear, can you tell me how to syncronize memorized IDs and Passwords for the webs. Thank you.

  • How may I install firefox home for iPhone

Am trying to install firefox home on iphone

'''Andrew''', the question was not about mobile Firefox browser but rather the Firefox '''Home''' app that Mozilla used to make for iOS as it has been discontinued.
    https://blog.mozilla.org/services/2012/08/31/retiring-firefox-home/
Since the code is open source there was a app called "Bookmarks On The Go" two years ago however it is not listed anymore and even if it was it would have needed to be updated for the new Sync.

  • Can I restore bookmarks from Firefox Home on iphone to reinstalled Firefox 6?

I have Firefox home synced on iphone 4 with all my bookmarks etc.
I downgraded to Firefox 6 from 7 as so many of my add ons etc wouldn't work on it. Now I want to 'restore' my bookmarks etc from the iphone via sync but can't seem to stop both Firefox 6 and the Firefox home from giving me codes to enter into each other at the same time. Is there a way?

  • How do Import bookmarks from google toolbar into firefox 6.02

Firefox 6.02 does not support google toobar add on. I have a ton of bookmarks in google toolbar and would need at least to import them to firefox but I do not see any way of doing it.
    Please advise urgently

You can open the Bookmarks Manager in Google Chrome (wrench icon > Bookmarks > Bookmarks Manager) and select "Tools > Export Bookmarks"
This will export the Chrome bookmarks to a file bookmarks.html.
You can import that file in Firefox: Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML : "From File"

'''How to import Passwords from Google Chrome to Firefox:'''
    In Google Chrome side:
    * Install LastPass extension on Google Chrome.
    * You'll be prompted to create account, so create it.
    In Firefox side:
    * Install LastPass Add-on and use same log in information for LastPass account you have created in Google Chrome.
    * Go to LastPass "Tools" choose "Export to" --> "Firefox".
Your passwords are in your Firefox.

  • Will Firefox Home allow Flash Player content on my iPad 2?

Apple and Adobe are not friends and, as a result, Safari will not allow the download of another browser; ie: Firefox which has Flash Player required by a great deal of media content. Can Firefox with Flash Player slip in the back door on Apple?

Firefox Home is not a web browser but a iOS app that allows you to sync with your desktop Firefox bookmarks, browsing history, and tabs. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/home/
    https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms
    iPhone/iPad/iPod
We have no plans to release the full Firefox browser for iOS. The iOS SDK agreement requires apps to use Apple's own JavaScript engine (or none at all, like Opera Mini which downloads pre-rendered pages from Opera's servers and cannot run JavaScript code in the client). Because of this, we have no supported way to distribute Firefox's rendering and JavaScript engine to iPhone users.
However, you can download Firefox Home for iPhone (can work on iPad), an iOS app that uses Firefox Sync to deliver Firefox bookmarks, browsing history, and tabs to your iPhone or iPod Touch.

  • Since i downloaded your Firefox 4 i have lost Norton 360 safe web taskbar on the firefox home page. can you plese rectify this prblem.

Norton 360 safe web and identity safe task bar is not displayed on firefox home page, since downloading firefox4.

It is down to Symantec to correct their mistake with their add-ons. They originally updated their add-ons after quite a delay to work with Firefox 4.0 as shown here - http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Firefox-4-compatibility-hotfix-is-now-available/td-p/428894
They made an error with the update in only listing it as compatible with Firefox 4.0, so they will not install on Firefox 4.0.1 and subsequent Firefox security updates. Symantec have indicated they will be releasing an update to correct their error soon, for details see http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Norton-Toolbar-not-compatible-with-FF-4-0-1/td-p/442788/page/12

  • When I try to install add-ons it tells me I need Firefox but I have Firefox Home installed on my iPhone already.

I'm in a loop- I open Firefox Home and click on add-ons and get a pop-up telling me I need to install Firefox. Clicking on that link gives me a link to download Firefox Home. Wassup?

"Firefox Home" for iPhone is not a web browser. The Firefox extensions are for the Windows, Mac, Linux desktop versions of Firefox and some can work on Android version.
    http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/home/faq/
Firefox Home is a free application that lets you have access to your Firefox desktop history, bookmarks and open tabs on your iPhone.
Does this mean Firefox will be available on the iPhone?
No. We do not have plans to ship the full Firefox browser for the iPhone. Due to constraints with the OS environment and distribution, we cannot provide users Firefox for the iPhone.

  • Firefox Home not syncing passwords

I've installed Firefox Sync on my home desktop and Firefox Home on my iPod Touch.
Selected "sync everything" and now on my iPod I have all my bookmarks and tabs correctly synced.
However when I go to a bookmark which on my desktop automatically remembers the username/password, on the iPod the page loads but none of the password fields have been automatically entered.
Obviously something isn't syncing correctly, but the help system offers no advice on how to solve the problem.
I've tried refreshing everything, closing and opening the app (on desktop and iPod) but still no success.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry, the current version of Firefox Home for iPhone/iPod does not sync passwords. It only syncs tabs, bookmarks, and history.
You can sync passwords in Firefox on your Mac, Windows, and Linux computers, and in Firefox for Maemo and Android phones.
