Nothing happening on touchsmart button

hello i have a touchsmart 300-1115uk i just bought this unit from a friend who updated his . so i did a freash install of windows 7 64bit and all has gone great but then watched some utubes about this machine and see them pressing the interface button (little house on bottom right hand of screen) but when i hit mine nothing happens i have looked for drivers but cant find one for this button. please can you tell me how to get this interface up and running as looks very handy

The little house button is used by HP TouchSmart software and opens the HP touchsmart software when it is pressed. If you did a fresh install of Windows 7 from Microsoft's discs, then it would wipe out the HP softwarer image. You need HP recovery discs for your model to get it installed and all sync'ed up.
If you retained the recovery image on the hard drive (not formatted the HD when you installed win7) then you may be able to do a recovery from the HD to get the original Win7 HP image back. Otherwise, if not, then you will need recovery discs which you can purchase from HP Support or from 3rd party suppliers.

I am trying to develop adobe forms with web service. The web service

I have created a new dataconnection with the above URL, drag & drop fields & button onto the form & save the form.
when I open the PDF on my local machine, enter the post code and push button, nothing happens. no error/warning message.
I also downloaded a web service example PDF from [http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/tips/index.html]
This form also has button to execute a web service but again nothing happens?
Any clues why this is happening? I turned off my firewall thinking it might be blocking but no joy
I am using Adobe Life cycle Designer 8 & Adobe reader 8.

Hi Pankaj,
While you are creating Webservice from Java file, select the Aunthenticationtype as SimpleSOAP instead of Basic SOAP (Bydefault BasicSOAP is selected, Change it to SimpleSOAP).
There are some steps after you create a Webservice.
First Download WSDL on your Local Machine from WAS.
After that when you open the zip file you get 3 WSDL's.
There we need to combine the 3 wsdl's and make it into one wsdl after you do this process.
Incorporate the WSDL in your interactive form and drag and drop the button onto the form.
Please don't try to edit any of the method because it will not work if you try to change any feature.
If you want to write Javascript for that method write it in "enter" method, script type:Javascript.

Nothing happen when clicking button create confirmation

Dear SAP gurus,
Our company is using SRM server 5.5 with SP08. During the development, I found something strange. When I use "Confirm centrally" i search for a PO and i can find it. And as I understand to create confirmation, I just need to click button "Create Confirmation". However when I do this nothing happen.
Then curiously, I use id for the actual Goods Recipient for this PO. And using menu "confirm" i able to find the PO. But still, when I click "Create Confirmation" nothing happen as well.
Can you advice me where to look to solve this issue?

Untrusted Connection - when I try to add a security exception, NOTHING happens

A game company Web site I go to all the time has just started giving me Untrusted Connection messages. I was able to visit it with no problems as recently as a few hours ago, but now I just get a page that says "You have asked Firefox to connect securely to [site], but we can't confirm that your connection is secure" and goes on to explain about security certificates and so on.
When I click "I understand the risks" then "Add exception", an "Add Security Exception" dialog box comes up as expected. However, when I click "Confirm Security Exception" on that dialog box (with or without clicking "Get Certificate" first), LITERALLY NOTHING happens. I don't mean I get an error message, or some result I'm not expecting, or even that the dialog box disappears. When I say nothing happens, I mean quite literally NOTHING happens. The button is not greyed out, yet clicking it has absolutely no effect. This leaves me with no means of closing the dialog box except clicking "Cancel", and therefore no means of accessing the site.
I've seen similar problems mentioned on this site, but mostly they either have the button greyed out (mine isn't) or they get a conflicting message saying the certificate is fine and doesn't need replacing (I don't). I have not seen anyone else post about my version, where everything looks normal and internally consistent yet the "Confirm Security Exception" button is non-functional.
This is not the first time I've had this problem, but it's the most annoying in that this time, it's affecting a site I normally visit several times a day rather than one I don't care that much about. As far as I recall, in my hands the "Confirm Security Exception" button has NEVER functioned, with the problem even surviving a near-total replacement of the hardware including the hard drive Firefox lives on.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode (Never Remember History).

*Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
Check out why the site is untrusted (click "Technical Details to expand that section) and if this is caused by a missing intermediate certificate then see if you can install this intermediate certificate from another source.
You can retrieve the certificate and check details like who issued certificates and expiration dates of certificates.
*Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"
Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".
*Click the "View..." button and inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer of the certificate.
You can see more Details like intermediate certificates that are used in the Details pane.
If "I Understand the Risks" is missing then this page may be opened in an (i)frame and in that case try the right-click context menu and use "This Frame: Open Frame in New Tab".
Note that some firewalls monitor secure (https) connections and send their own certificate instead of the website's certificate.

How do i get personas do load from the gallery? I'm hitting the button and nothing happens. When I try to add to fav I'm sent to error page. Help?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

I can no longer attach files in Yahoo mail since upgrading to FireFox 4.0.1. I click the "attach" button and nothing happens - no file list to select from appears; nothing.

Since upgrading to Firefox 4.0.1 the "attach files" function in my Yahoo Mail account no longer functions. When I click the "attach files" button nothing happens - nothing. No file selection box opens, no error message appears, no pinwheel of death, nothing.
The "attach files" button is no longer 'hot' in FF 4.0.1 either = the "little hand" icon does not appear when I scroll over it. Other action buttons are still 'hot' ("attachments", "emoticons", "format", "hide bcc"etc.) - just not the "attach files" button.
The Yahoo Mail "attach files" function still works when I use my Safari browser, however. So, it appears to be a FF4.0.1 issue.

The content of the Share menu will depend on the file format. For PDFs the menu will be nearly empty and iPhoto and aperture are missing.

what version of iPHoto do you have? Of the OS? is the iPhoto icon you are speaking of in the Dock?

Somehow my "IPhoto" icon now says "Preview". When I click on "Preview" nothing opens up except the bar says Preview. When I click on the Preview on the bar, a box opens up with different items, except when I click on any of them, there is nothing there. The only thing that work is the "quit preview". However, it is still there where my IPhoto icon should be. I can't get into my IPhoto. How do I get rid of this "Preview" and how did it end up taking over the IPhoto icon???

Run fsck.
1. Reboot/Startup holding your Command-S key down.
2. At the command line type the following and hit 'Return.'
/sbin/fsck -fy
3. After it has check/repaired your disk, type 'reboot' and hit 'Return' again. Unit should bootup normally.

Also, when im viewing websites and i find something i wish to print, same again, if i simply click on the print option at the top right of the screen nothing happens... the only way I can print is if i copy the weblink of the site page then click on my HP eprint app and paste the web link, then select print, it prints off fine.. but its it such a pain to keep copying and pasting links or screen dumping emails just to print...

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. The 'Yellow' Middle Round Button on the Upper Left Side of the Screen is no longer 'Yellow' and Nothing Happens when I pick it. How do I fix this so it works?

All three buttons used to have a color associated with them. Red (furthest left), Yellow (middle) and Green (right). Red shut down Firefox, Yellow hid Firefox from the screen and Green refreshed or enlarged the screen. Not only is the middle button no longer yellow, but when I pick it nothing happens. IIf the battery was completely drained it might take some time before the phone will respond. Wait at least 30 minutes with the phone connected to the charger. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the phone starts up let it continue to charge until it's 100%.
if the broken button will not let you do the reset Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
