Pop-up blocker is off. What do I need to do?
Try a different web browser? Adjust the settings on your security software.
Alternately you can follow the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download. Although you may run into similar difficulties if you are unable to begin the download process.

Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded from the Apple website:

I have a new iPod Touch and am trying to download photos for the first time. Both iPhoto & Image Capture recognize the device but don't seem to recognize the photos, or at least I can't import them. Nothing happens when I click on anything in either.
If you manually open iPhoto do you not see the photos?

Yu are trying to impoort photos taken by or saved to the iPod, right? If the photos were synced to the iPod then iPhot does not work. -
i am trying to download icarly episodes and it does not go any further than clicking on buy season button. nothing happens when i click the button?
I would first try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. -
supposedly you can download or play songs using the icloud download button, a cloud icon with a downward arrow inside. But nothing happens when I click or double click on it.
You have to have music in your iCloud account to do that...when you open the Music app on your iPad, for example, you can access all music from iCloud that you have already placed in the iCloud or associated with iCloud. That is not for downloading music you have not already purchased or downloaded.

After uploading to the cloud, i lost access to some of my songs. The library still shows the information and there is a cloud download icon but the font color would seem to indicate it has been deactivated (i.e. nothing happens when I click on it).
Problem closed (although not resolved). After working with Apple support, no resolution was found. I asked for a refund of the iTunes match purchase price, which was granted. Interestingly the support tech, who was very nice if not particularly helpful from a technical point of view, spun the "resolution" of refunding my iTunes match purchase price as a positive one, here is a quote from the final email
"I'm glad to hear that you're not having issues with the songs you've purchased. Nothing makes Apple happier than to hear that our customers concerns have been rectified."
It is notable that I never had an issue downloading music directly purchased thru the iTunes store, the only issue that existed was downloading songs that I ripped from my CD collection and "matched".
I'm happy that I received my money back, however I wish that the iTunes Match service worked for me (I was looking forward to this service). I'm most upset at the time I wasted trying to fix this problem.
I'll now download music the old fashioned way: syncing with iTunes directly. -

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I have signed in to my account and am able to brouse media but not download or purchase anything. The "buy" button is also white instead of blue and nothing happens when I click to buy. I am able to make purchaces on the same account on my iphone as well. What might be causing this issue?

Its a 5.3 GB file. It might takle a while to download.
When done, it may open automatically, but the file will be in your apps folder

Buttons on dialogue and prompt boxes are blank and nothing happens when I click on them.
Whenever a dialogue box or prompt box comes up, the all of the buttons or sometimes just the bottom two (OK and cancel) are blank and nothing happens when I click on them, with the exception of one website in which clicking the blank button that normally says "OK" takes me to a blank screen. This doesn't allow me to access certain websites or download anything when a dialogue box asks me to confirm. As a result, I also cannot start firefox in safe mode or refresh it.
Attached is an example. That is what came up when I tried to refresh firefox. Nothing happens when I click either of the buttons at the bottom.
EDIT: Attached the image.Strangely enough, it just stopped happening on its own this morning. Thanks for the help, though!

Nothing happens when I click on any app in the iTunes Store
I launched my iTunes and clicked on iTunes Store link on the left. The iTunes Store home page loaded as usual. However when I tried clicking on various apps to view their details, nothing happened. Occasionally the "Accessing iTunes Store" message appears in the status window for a split second but even after it went away I am still on the iTunes home page.
I can still download apps, but only if they have a price or free button next to their titles. Also, I am able to search for apps. But likewise, nothing happens when I click on the search results to view the apps' details.Try setting Firefox as the Default Browser.

I experienced the same thing on my Mac. I openned the downloads window in my browser. Selected the file I had just downloaded. pressed control + left click. Then selected show in finder. Finder openned with the download nnnn.acsm. I doubled clicked that file and it installed into my ebook reader.

I can't open .jar file, nothing happens when I click on the .jar file.
I have MAC OS 10.6.8
The thing it, I have desktop application that I'm building on Netbeans and when I compile and deploy it... it runs from Netbeans folder where I have all the files but copying the .jar on the desktop. It says "The Java JAR file "blablabla.jar" could not be launched check the Console for possible error messages"
Any idea or solution will be appreciated.

CharlesThese are Java files. http://www.java.com/en/ is where you can get the latest Java for your operating system. If your Java files need an older version of Java, there are instructions on the web to downgrade Mac Java, but it is difficult, and poses security issues.

Yes, you do need an antivirus app for iOS. However, they don't currently exist because Apple refuses to make their 'proprietary' technical OS specifics freely available as open source code or to any Antivirus companies, who could examine and potentially identify security holes. Many security problems have been identified by Apple and fixed as part of iOS updates in the past (details are readily available in the iOS update information) and this will likely be a bigger problem in the future as malware authors move toward the technology leader as a target. But right now you can't get an antivirus app for iOS which scans the iOS device wholesale. This is despite the fact that (legitimate) apps are available which can take control of the entire device, install apps, wipe them or the device, view information, etc (for example Sophos Mobile Control). SMC can be installed by tapping an email link to a website and then tapping 'OK' to a couple of dialogues.
