Nothing happens when I click. What could be the reason?

Using a web-based application with firefox where I can normally access my e-mails and database entries, nothing happens when I click, although the mouse cursor shows the "hand with finger" sight when I run over it. This was working fine till yesterday morning.
It can't be a problem with the web-based application, as colleagues using the same firefox version are not facing any problems. Also, when using a different browser (e.g. Chrome) no problems either.

Whenever a dialogue box or prompt box comes up, the all of the buttons or sometimes just the bottom two (OK and cancel) are blank and nothing happens when I click on them, with the exception of one website in which clicking the blank button that normally says "OK" takes me to a blank screen. This doesn't allow me to access certain websites or download anything when a dialogue box asks me to confirm. As a result, I also cannot start firefox in safe mode or refresh it.
Attached is an example. That is what came up when I tried to refresh firefox. Nothing happens when I click either of the buttons at the bottom.

Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded from the Apple website:

Trying to synch my ipod and getting message that a file is corrupt and can't communicate. Trying to restore ipod but nothing happens when I click on restore. What now?

After following all of the instructions in the help site I get the ipod to the Disc Mode but nothing happens when I click on restore. Help, my wife thinks I'm sabotaging her ipod.

When you have a compatible Numbers file in icloud (from Numbers on a mac), then when you invoke Numbers on a device, that file immediately shows up in the main window that lists all documents in Numbers. (Same thing for Pages.)
I haven't used Numbers, only Pages, so I just made a test. Created a Numbers file on the mac and "move to" iCloud. On my iPhone, the file didn't show up - hmm. Then I remembered I had turned off wifi and in settings have 3G data for documents turned off. When I turned on wifi and went back to Numbers, the file appeared.
I suspect you need to import the Excel file into Numbers and then save it as a Numbers file to iCloud, using "move to".
Using Mountain Lion and latest iOS and Numbers/Pages.

I can't open .jar file, nothing happens when I click on the .jar file.
I have MAC OS 10.6.8
The thing it, I have desktop application that I'm building on Netbeans and when I compile and deploy it... it runs from Netbeans folder where I have all the files but copying the .jar on the desktop. It says "The Java JAR file "blablabla.jar" could not be launched check the Console for possible error messages"
Any idea or solution will be appreciated.

These are Java files. http://www.java.com/en/ is where you can get the latest Java for your operating system. If your Java files need an older version of Java, there are instructions on the web to downgrade Mac Java, but it is difficult, and poses security issues.

Yes, you do need an antivirus app for iOS. However, they don't currently exist because Apple refuses to make their 'proprietary' technical OS specifics freely available as open source code or to any Antivirus companies, who could examine and potentially identify security holes. This is despite the fact that (legitimate) apps are available which can take control of the entire device, install apps, wipe them or the device, view information, etc (for example Sophos Mobile Control). Alternately you can follow the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download. Although you may run into similar difficulties if you are unable to begin the download process.

Nothing happens when I click on 'Sync Now'

I tried to do a sync. It didn't copy bookmarks onto other computer. Now on host computer nothing happens when I click on 'Sync Now' to redo the sync.

It looks as if Sync was already set up. what you can do is go Tools, the options, then into the sync tab. See if an account is already connected to the computer or not.

Try delete those songs using iTunes by de-selecting and sync. After that mark those songs and sync again.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

"program access and defaults" is not the place to remove programs in Windows. You need to go to the control panel and click on Add and Remove programs. For instructions on how to uninstall Firefox, see [[Uninstalling Firefox]]

Yu are trying to impoort photos taken by or saved to the iPod, right? If the photos were synced to the iPod then iPhot does not work.

Nothing happens when I click on any app in the iTunes Store

I launched my iTunes and clicked on iTunes Store link on the left. The iTunes Store home page loaded as usual. However when I tried clicking on various apps to view their details, nothing happened. Occasionally the "Accessing iTunes Store" message appears in the status window for a split second but even after it went away I am still on the iTunes home page.
I can still download apps, but only if they have a price or free button next to their titles. Also, I am able to search for apps. But likewise, nothing happens when I click on the search results to view the apps' details.

Try setting Firefox as the Default Browser.
