Nothing happens when scheduling in Promotion Management
I am trying to schedule a job in Promotion Management but nothing happens. checked the servers and everything ok. I press schedule and nothing happens. Tried in a different browser and localy in the server and from a different machine. Any suggestions ?

Need a little more info to Tshoot this.
What do you mean "Nothing Happens"? when you click on schedule nothing happens?
Can you save the job and see if you are able to save the job?
Could it be a UI issue and can you try using different Browser and different machine and things like that basic tshooting steps.
Can you try with a single object like a UNV/UNX and related connection and see if that woks?

Q: Nothing happened when I launch Extension Manager.
1. Kill Extension Manager by Task Manager( Windows ) or Force Quit( Mac ).
2. Remove files below.
Windows( EM CS5.5 and earlier ): "C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CS\Configuration\Extensions\exman_uiPreferences.xml"

"/Library/Application Support/Macromedia/FlashPlayerTrust"I also have this (on Windows XP Pro 64), happened after I installed the latest Avast a/v last weekend after renewing my subscription, but, it may not be the cause. I uninstalled FF, removed all registry enrties and re-installed FF.
But, same as before, I click FF to launch, I see it appear in Task Manager Processes, it does not appear in the Application list, and I can get up to 3 or 4 instances of FF in Task Manager Processes. I end each process to get back to one, or none. Sometimes removing one will remove all, so, there is something causing an interdependency between the multiple FF processes.
Before this happened, about 2 weeks ago, FF somehow made itself primary browser (I run Chrome, IE, Opera & Safari for checking web build work). I put it back IE as primary browser, but after that, whenever I opened any email link in Outlook, IE would appear as a blank page and FF would also open with my default home webpage. If I click the Outlook email link again, the link target would then open in IE leaving FF still showing my home page. Weird.
I have re-set the URL:Hypertext Transfer Protocol ( and the similar ones) using Folder Options / Advanced / Edit Open to set it back to IE for application to be used, and tried disabling 'Use DDE'. Something keeps re-generating it back. Given up, just click the email links twice.
Does any one have an answer to FF not loading, its my essential main browser for much of my work.

I have installed firefox 3.2.64. When i click on the desktop icon nothing happens. The windows task manager says mozilla firefox is running but I can't see it anywhere. What might the problem be?A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Yeah, I'm having the same exact problem - It seems that the thunderbolt minidisplay port is only able to output the analog VGA signal, not the digital signal to support DVI and HDMI. This is a bug that came up after installing 10.7.1. I bought my macbook air with 10.7 on it, upgraded it to 10.7.1 as soon as I got it, so I have never been able to use hdmi or dvi with my macbook air. This is an extremely frustrating problem for me, I used HDMI on a daily basis with my PC. I have spent many hours at the genius bar running diagnostic tests so Apple can get as much information as possible to create a fix for this problem. I have been emailing tech support for 3 or so weeks now, they keep saying that they are working on a fix and it should be out soon, but 10.7.2 has come and gone and I still have no HDMI functionality with my MacBook Air!

I can't open .jar file, nothing happens when I click on the .jar file.
I have MAC OS 10.6.8
The thing it, I have desktop application that I'm building on Netbeans and when I compile and deploy it... it runs from Netbeans folder where I have all the files but copying the .jar on the desktop. It says "The Java JAR file "blablabla.jar" could not be launched check the Console for possible error messages"
Any idea or solution will be appreciated.

CharlesThese are Java files. http://www.java.com/en/ is where you can get the latest Java for your operating system. If your Java files need an older version of Java, there are instructions on the web to downgrade Mac Java, but it is difficult, and poses security issues.

Yes, you do need an antivirus app for iOS. However, they don't currently exist because Apple refuses to make their 'proprietary' technical OS specifics freely available as open source code or to any Antivirus companies, who could examine and potentially identify security holes. Many security problems have been identified by Apple and fixed as part of iOS updates in the past (details are readily available in the iOS update information) and this will likely be a bigger problem in the future as malware authors move toward the technology leader as a target. But right now you can't get an antivirus app for iOS which scans the iOS device wholesale. This is despite the fact that (legitimate) apps are available which can take control of the entire device, install apps, wipe them or the device, view information, etc (for example Sophos Mobile Control). SMC can be installed by tapping an email link to a website and then tapping 'OK' to a couple of dialogues.

The button on my Ipod Touch (the big one just below the screen) will not work when I press it. Nothing happens, when before it would wake my IPod out of sleep mode, and exit out of programs I was using (ex. ITunes or Safari to main screen) . Now, no reactions. When I press the button, it appears to be more indented then it was before. What should I do? Do I need to get it fixed or replaced, or is this a problem I can fix on my own? My play lists and songs on iTunes and on my iPhone won't play. They are light grey instead of black and nothing happens when I click on the songs. All of the songs were either from CD's or from iTunes that I purchased. I have home sharing turned on. This is a new issue. It used to work fine. I tried restarting my iPhone and syncing with iTunes. Neither worked. Please help!
Try delete those songs using iTunes by de-selecting and sync. After that mark those songs and sync again.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded from the Apple website:
