Nothing has gone right tonight.

I've been clicking on boxes, finding white spaces where color should be, not being able to bring an object forward or backward. I thought that I was getting the hang of it and WHAM, all I've done tonight is click here and there and go back to Graphics to Text to Page to Color Palate to Fonts........
and I am doing something wrong and can't figure out what it is. I even deleted the page and started over again, only to have the same problems. I realize that nobody can tell me what the solution is. How long did this happen to you before you finally were able to make a page without much fuss?
I just need to get this off my chest. Time to turn my computer off and watch TV.

I had to chuckle when I read your last post; part of the learning curve is knowing what your limitations are and when to walk away, before you feel like picking up something destructive...like a baseball bat, for example!
My friends and I refer to it as pulling free from the 'suction'...the "screen" suction, that is!

When do I know sensor has gone bad?

I have had for 18 months. Did not know about "putting it to sleep" when not in use. I am walking three/four miles and my reading keeps saying I've gone .15 miles and burned 4 calories...it was working fine last week, but when I reset my weight, nothing has worked right since? I've tried to recalibrate, but that isn't working either....I don't know what to do next!!

I had the same problem - sensor was saying I'd only run .25 mile when I had done more.
I found this on the Nike+ Support Forums and tried it this morning. It seemed to work for my problem.

I'm sorry to hear that your new sensor sounds like it's dead or at least dying on arrival. That's definitely not cool!
Before you give up on it, I'd like you to try a couple of things to see whether you can resuscitate the new sensor. If these suggestions don't prove helpful, your best bet is to return the new sensor to the place of purchase. Given the fact that you just bought it, I'm hopeful that a quick and easy exchange can be arranged.
First, though, try this:
1. Put your sensor to sleep and then wake it again. To put your sensor to sleep, remove it from your shoe, flip it over so that you can access the sleep/wake button, and hold the button down for approximately a three count. Then, to wake the sensor, give the button a quick press.
2. Reset your iPod nano. This is a good standard step to take whenever you experience weird Nike + iPod behavior; it won't result in the loss of any data, but it will refresh your settings. Please press and hold down both the Menu button and the center button at the same time, holding them down until the Apple logo appears on your screen.
3. Try to establish an active link by getting aggressive with your new sensor. Navigate to the linking screen on your iPod nano (Nike + iPod > Settings > Sensor > Link) and tap the sensor against your desk or another solid surface to simulate a footstrike. Sometimes, it's easier to set up your initial link this way than by walking around to activate your sensor. Once the sensor has been found, record and upload a test workout; then take a look to see whether the "replace sensor soon" message still appears. I'm hoping that the message is left over from your old sensor, and will disappear once you record a workout successfully using the new sensor.
4. Record and upload a normal workout. Once you've established your link by tapping the sensor, you'll want to make sure your sensor can also pick up your normal footstrike and record your workout accurately.
If these options don't prove helpful, please make sure you return or exchange your sensor as soon as possible. As I noted above, it's best if you can work with the retailer from whom you purchased the sensor. If this isn't a good option for you, remember that Apple offers a one-year warranty on the product; you can visit them in person at an Apple store or give them a call at 1-800-APL-CARE to learn about your options.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't help & you can afford to redo any Mail Rules...
Trash these files...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/... MessageRules.plist and MessageRules.plist.backup
Then if need be with the backup, Import emlx to mbox, See if this helps...

I can send and receive calls.
I get "messaging stopped" when doing a lot of texts.
Texts come up "ghosted" meaning they have the text on the bottom and a transparent one overlaid on top. they then become one. But I get the ghosting most of the time when I go into a message from a contact to send a text.
When I go to call logs or text logs, the numbers come up first, and then then the names pop up randomly, meaning not in order down the page, until they are all shown. lots of lag time.
It runs slow.
I have 5 apps on here. I should be able to have a lot of apps on here, and play music, and have files, and...and....and.
I can get online but doing a Google search, when the page with the choices comes up, it is blurred and I have to tap on the screen for it to become clear and readable.
When online and scrolling, it hitches sometimes/lags/gets stuck then unstuck
I get VZWAVS has stopped. (not sure if those are the right letters)
The status bar that is supposed to be gray with the new update, goes back and forth between green--the old os--to gray. And I have found no continuity with when I get green or when I get gray.
I get a black screen on occasion.
sometimes the proximity sensor doesn't work.
sometimes when I have my bluetooth on and have "hands free mode" on, I get the a text message read through the headset and also through the handset.

UDPATE:
Spoke with Express lane, and issue was escalated. Kudos to the support guys that handled this one (Brian and Yi). Went through everything in detail and took all the crash dumps off the iphones and ipads to send to engineering.
After backing up the contacts, the recommendation was to delete all contacts in iCloud. Doing that caused my iCloud to crash (in the browser), so more crash dumps were sent to apple.
Eventually got all contacts deleted, then did a resync. Looks like IOS devices are coming back to life and syncing again.
Also, Outlook iCloud connector has just been updated to ver 1.0.1 so i installed that on their recommendation.
BOTTOM LINE workaround:
1. Backup contacts
2. Delete contacts in iCloud
3. Delete accounts on IOS devices
4. Recreate accounts on IOS devices.
Hoping a real root cause can be found and real fix implemented. This has caused me to doubt the stability of iCloud, so i will procees with caution.

have you tried charging the device ?
if so and it still does not work you can try a Forced Recovery..
by holding the HOME button down and plugging it into your computer at the same time..

Thanks for getting back to me, The AU manger was there, just when you treid to click on it, it just wasn't responding.
But i had a scan thourgh google and found the answer, i removed the audio units cache and restarted it and all was good. I was really starting to get stressed over the matter but however i got to the bottom of it.

It may not be your computer telling you this, it is probably the company providing the shows to you over the Internet. If that is the case, no setting on your computer can change it because the media company is going by your network address (IP address), which is where your Internet modem (cable or DSL) connects to the outside Internet. If the location of your Internet connection appears to be outside the US (even if it is mistake), media companies that distribute shows under contracts with geographical restrictions may lock you out.
If you use a service like a VPN service, you may have the ability to use IP addresses from other countries so that you can appear to be connecting from there. But it takes some setting up.

Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer. If the iPhone is recognized in Recovery Mode, then Restore the Firmware. If not recognized, then hold both Home and Power Buttons until the iPhone is recognized in Recovery Mode. Usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Restore the iPhone Firmware.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
