Nothing highlights under Share when I want to export
Video done with no problem using iSight camera. Just can't export it because under Share, the options remain grey, nothing to click on. Anyone know why? Thanks.

Are you trying to "share" the clip directly from the "Event" window? If so, that is your problem. Only media in the currently selected "Project" window can be "shared."

I am working in my iTunes removing duplicates. When I want to remove a series of duplicates I hit the shift button on the key board, highlight and delete; when I want to select several to delete but are no in a series in the past I would hit the 'fn' button then highlight and delete. Problem with iPhoto or Aperture when I want to export a large slideshow

I have a big problem when I want to export a large slideshow is created with iPhoto or Aperture. After ten minutes, my iMac off and then restart. I tried several times but the problem again.
I said that this slideshow contains photos and videos.
thank youThat can be caused by many things - try to narrow down, what is happening:
Does your slideshow have a problem?
Do the media in your slideshow have a problem?
Does your Aperture library need fixing?
A problem with your user account?
Video codecs?
Aperture?
Your Mac OS X?
Your Hardware?
Check, if you can export slideshows at all from your Aperture library. Create a new, emty slideshow for experimenting and add one video, an audio clip and one or two photos. Try to export. Does that work?
If yes, duplicate your original slideshow and delete half of the photos from it. can you export now? Continue to find the video or image that does not work.
If no slideshow can be exported from your current library try to create a simple test slidesho in a different library. Does it work?
Post back with your results.

When I try to export a photo my IPhoto shuts down and sens messages to Apple about it. What can I do. It is not the newest version.
Open Console in Applications>Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.

Lost "Desktop" listing under "Places" when I want to save in CS5
Panic !!!
I have been saving a bunch of pictures I'm working on in CS5 to a desktop folder. Somehow on the last picture, when I clicked on "Desktop" in "Places" to access the folder and save, I must have accidentally dragged the "Desktop " out of the listing under "Places", and I heard a " poof " and the "Desktop" name at the top of the list disappeared from the list. "Documents" and all of the other choices are still there under "Places" . How do I get "Desktop" which was at the top of the list, to come back ?
I restarted the computer... nada..... and it is not in the trash. I can't save anything to the desktop or a folder there because it isn't in the list anymore in CS5.

carolynThanks... I just did that, but it doesn't appear in the "Places" on CS5. I did find a way to save in a folder
on the desktop in the pull down folder menu center just below the top "Img_6771.jpg" line. I still think there should be a way to
get it back into the "Places" window in CS5. Any other clues ?

My FCP 4.5 quit when I want to export in MPEG 2, help me please

Final cut bugs when I want to export fcp project in FLV format
Hy, when I did a fcp project, I export it well in QTime conversion to have .mov file.
But If I want to have a flv file after doing my fcp project, and try to export in flv, Final cut is taking a long time and after few minutes doesn't answering. In imovie (8.0.6) i click share, then export movie as quicktime movie, choose a folder then click save and it starts working. At the end of job movie is not there but hard disc space is gone. So I'm keep loosing space but not getting movie. Please can someone help me with this.
If you have Qt Pro, you can open the file and turn on a controller, then resave the file.

Based on my test, if you make the user the owner of the database (rather than a user with the db_owner role), when you create a query, it creates it under the dbo schema rather than DOMAIN\username.
Steps to do so (in Management Studio):
Right click database, select Properties
Click File
Change Owner in the textbox
OK to confirm
Downside - other users under db_owner role will still have their username appended. So schemas have to be created for these users.

Hi,
I have cancelled my CC membership but now when I want to open PS CS6, I get a CC box saying 'Renew my Subscription'. My CS6 is nothing to do with CC and I cannot use it! It's my work copy! Please help Adobe!
I have gone into Adobe Installers: nothing there to uninstall CC. Gone into Adobe Air, nothing in there to do with CC. How can I completely unlink my computer from any old remnants of CC? This is my work computer. It has to be sorted!

Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.
