NOTHING is working! Please help?
My ipod mini connects to the computer and itunes no problem but when I try and connect my nano (with the same lead or another lead) nothing happens it doesn't even charge... I know it works 'cause I managed to put songs on it on my cousins computer so why won't it work on mine? I've tried the 5 R's and everything else and nothing at all works.

The iphone is designed to be synced regularly with your computer. You should be syncing your contacts to a program on your computer. If you fail to do this, then you will likely lose them at some point.
It is quite important to sync regularly. the iphone is NOT a stand alone device.
If you have synced when the contacts were on the iphone, you may be able to restore from backup. otherwise they are gone.
Sync your iphone going forward or this will certainly happen again.

Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.

It only happens on Safari. I have checked the Dock isn't checked for automatically hide and show, it's just really bothering me! Safari is also not in full screen, it is the same size it has always been.
That bar you refer to is the "Menu Bar" with File, Edit, View, History, bookmarks, Tools, Help. The "Navigation Toolbar" contains the location bar (/address bar) and navigational toolbar buttons like back/forward.
To restore the menu bar use "Alt" to bring up menu bar temporarily then View > Toolbars > (check) Menu bar, and suggest you put tabs bar back to bottom of top toolbars instead of on top. This is items #2 and #3 in the following and you had better read about back/forward changes in item #5 using right-click instead of drop-down.

There are no products listed on my apple id support.
I have taken the phone number out of my apple id support, after which i signed out of the imessage and signed back in, but my phone number is still grayed out and ticked.
also, the sim card isnt even in the phone.
Does anyone out there actually have a solution for this?This cannot happen this is like removing your phone number so no one can call it.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

I have 4s iPhone , I download the iOS 7. Now the front receiver microphone is not working , please help me that how to fix the problem.
I live in South Africa, and I had the same problem with my iPhone 4.
After weeks of frustration and swearing, I was in the process of restoring my phone to a previous iOS. To do that you need to turn the "Find my iPhone" option off, since i turned it off, my problem was solved. No need to repair anything or revert back to old iOS.

If you are running Lion or Mountain Lion, the drivers are downloaded from within Bootcamp Assistant. If you are running Snow Leopard the drivers are on your Snow Leopard install disk.

When I try to add music from my itunes onto my imovie project, it says "Open iTunes to populate this list." When I open it nothing happens. Please help.

Make sure you have the latest version of parrallels. Think older versions are not compatible.
