Nothing seems to work, please help!! :(

Hey guys, 
I was hoping if anyone could help me, i am a first time BB user and i set everything up today!
For about 1 hour everything was working, untill i got an error message saying it could not connect to the internet! 
Things i have tried:
Send Service books
Pull battery
Factory reset
Change browser
I have tried everything i can think of to get the device working again.
I have a valid data plan.
Can anyone help me

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB):
1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your wireless service provider for formal support.

    Try the following to rule out a software probleM
    - Reset. Nothing will be lost.
    Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory defaults/new iPodIf you still have the problem you likely have a problem with the headphone jack in the iPod.  They can be replaced.  I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store to identify/determine the cause.

    Open the folder containing your catalog. In that folder you will find another folder with the extension .lrdata, and you need to delete that folder. After you do that, Lightroom should start normally and will create a new preview cache.

    Transfer all of your content to the computer:

    Then try turning the device off and on again. I'd leave it off for 10-15 minutes, but that is up to you:

    iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

    Sounds like you have a battry issue but don't want to believe it.
    If a car was running fine on one tank of gas, then you filled it up with another tank of gas and it began to run funny, one might suspect that tank of gas. But let's just say coincidence blew a valve-- would you think the new tank of gas was the culprit?
    BUT WAIT!! It just might have been! The gas could have been of higher octane and put more more strain on the valves; you know, like going from 87 octane (OS6) to 93 octane (OS7) and showing you the engine was on the edge of compromise.
    Sometimes you have to go with common sense. If everything else is ruled out, it must be the battery. And if it runs fine one moment in OS6 but immediately ***** in OS7, I'd believe my battery was suspect-- though comfy-- in OS6 but the OS7 showed its true power.
    Moreover, if you had the answer-- or didn't want to believe someone's more competent advice-- why did you even call?  You've already shown that you don't know much when you asked if you could go backwards after setting up the new OS as a new phone.
    Additonally, if you're such the know-it-all, but yourself the $29 battery and put it in yourself. It's a piece of cake.

    Does the iOS devices connect to other networks?
    Does the iOS devices see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
    Did the iOS device connect before?
    Try the following to rule out a software problem:                 
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

    Since both iPhone and iPod stopped connecting I suspect a problem with your network.

  • Frozen phone nothing seems to work. need help now please.

    I downloaded the coral reef free trial from blackberry app world and when I locked the screen, then turned it back everything had frozen. I could not type my password or make any emergency calls. The animations, clock, signal bar and battery are still working/running. Nothing else seems to be working. I have taken the battery out a few times but it doesn't do anything. Alt right cap and delete restarted my phone but I just go back the the same problem straight away. I would really like some to tell my how I can fix this problem.

    Well, Safe Mode might help you diagnose it. To get into safe mode, follow the instructions in the above linked KB.

  • How do I change a number that was international back to UK number so it permanently recognises it as UK not international? I've tried delete, reset factory settings, change the format of the number etc and nothing seems to work. Help!

    I recently moved back to the UK and bought my iphone 4 with me. It is unlocked and works on the new contract that I have set up here in the UK. The problem I'm having is that some of the UK numbers that I had already had on the iphone in Korea as international UK numbers will now not work as they are still coming up as international numbers. This means it is costing me a lot to message or call these numbers. I have tried changing the number format various ways, deleting the numbers (although it still seems to remember them), resetting the phone, restoring the phone.
    How can I succesfully change these numbers?
    Any UK numbers I have added since changing the contract are working fine.

    Do you happen to have Dial Assist on? This is in Settings>Phone. This is what helps the phone identify international numbers when dialing, based on location. See if turning that off/on makes a difference. Unless you are making a number of international calls, I believe this can be left off. See the User Guide http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1565/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf  Page 49 has info regarding Dial Assist.

    I have Windows 8. Itunes is not recognising either my ipad or iphone. I have googled and read much about this problem and associated solutions all of which I have tried except the solutions tend to be windows XP or Vista based. Can ANYONE help me.   • I've tried all the suggestions from previous posts about error 2002f and none work for me. I am selling my macbook air so erased the drive. When I select my wireless connection the globe turns then gives me the mentioned error. Nothing seems to work. Help

    Hello Philly,
    I believe that when you reset your ipod(command given from the computer, right?)  touch WHILE the ipod was updating, It cleared the system in the middle of writing files, thus corrupting(equivalent of cutting of in the middle of a sentence) the basic running system.
    I suggest you go to an apple store and ask for a technical diagonosis in person. they may offer to help if the problem is fixable. If your ipod is still under warrenty, i would guess it would be free/low cost.

    Ralph, Thanks for replying. There where no received SIP messages at all just the INVITE being sent but I have made some more progress. The mini does indeed just work. I can do everything that you are supposed to do to other ichat users on the internet. Very nice.
    The imac is still playing up but I have got further. I had peerguardian2 installed which unknown to me doesn't need to be running to prevent you for accessing 'barred' IP addresses. snatmap.mac.com is barred in the lists! I discovered this when I saw one of your other posts showed how to turn on terminal logging for ichat. Now that I have turned off peerguardian2 (using the disable filters option) I can make calls to the testbot and see the adverts. I have even done a video conference with the two testbots. I will just uninstall peerguardian2.
    However, I can not get a AV chat working to a real user....
    In response to your suggestions:-
    I have tried all the options for quicktime streaming but will try 1.5Mb/s again.
    The ichat bandwidth limit is set to "none". I am in New Zealand and I have standard ADSL (not ADSL2+) 7.6M down 512K up. The mini config is also set to none.
    Internet sharing is off.
    I have had parallels on the machine but the two interfaces that it installed "Parallels Host-Guest" and "Parallels NAT" are configured 'off' and show as not connected. Is this enough? I will uninstall parallels and see if that helps since I don't use it. I also have VMware's thing installed but that doesn't seem to add any interfaces.
    I need to capture a full trace of the imac to other ichat user to see what is happening but will update when I have does your suggested changes or have a trace
