Nothing showing up in Main View window CS6 (64 Bit) - PC

I can open Photoshop just fine, all the buttons work. I can see everything that I'm doing in the layer preview thumbnail, but all I see on the main design screen is the 'transparent' background. The cursor shows up and looks the part of whatever brush I'm using, but nothing happens on the main screen. I haven't even got a chance to use this version yet because I can't see anything! Please help!

Note the layers panel is a black background with a pink stripe, but the image panel is only showing the transparent background. This is the only layer.

Main view window locked on 'one pic at a time'???

My main view window ... somehow I locked it into displaying only one-pic-at-a-time. Can't seem to get back to the library mode, or whatever it might be called, when I can see all the pics in the folder at the same time. I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the view mode. And the scaling control, bottom right, has disappeared (or I've somehow disappeared it).
Any help would be most appreciated...

Aie yie yie. I cycled through the V yesterday ... and somehow never got to that thumbnail view (go figure). But it worked first try this morning. Maybe my Mac was tired yesterday, like me.

Main Viewer Window does not display correctly

Ever since I upgraded to Aperture 3.3 through 3.4.1, the main viewer window does not display correctly. Everything is justified to the right of the screen. When viewing images, the are not in teh center, they are over to the right. I can't even see the import controls when trying to import... actually I can't even press the import button or add metada. I am really in a bad position here. Need help with this... anyone out there have a solution please? my clients are waiting for their photos. Yikes!

Nothing shows up in the Viewer screen

I am able to import a project, and able to skim thru it, however, the viewer (Right Upper quadrant) remains black, nothing shows up on it. So I am able to skim thru the video but cannot really see adequately the details of the frames etc.
I should mention that I just resolved the issue of the bouncing icon with no launch of iMovie (nothing shows up), and I did that by changing the place for my DivX files & codecs. I'm wondering whether this has something to do with it.
I still have Perian and Flip-4-Mac.

No help here.
I have similar problem. Imported old short Qt movie (720X576 Integer (Big Endian) into IM8 from Ext HD and I get no skimming in the viewer. I can play in the viewer and fullscreen. But wont skim in the viewer. Leaves a frame of the movie in the viewer, but thats it.

Main viewer window not displaying after Yosemite upgrade

I just upgraded tp Yosemite. Also upgraded Aperture (v3.6). Opened up Aperture. After it finished upgrading my library I noted that thumbnail images on viewer display OK but there is no image showing on the large viewer. Tried selecting different thumbnails. No success. Tried quitting and restart app. Nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks. I tried all three of the repair options but no success. However, after restart things started working correctly. Possibly it was the combination of repairs and restart that fixed it.

Why does nothing show up in Design view?

I'm using DW CS5 and creating a page to upload as a Facebook tab. I'm working in code view and the only thing I have in the code is an image. When I switch over to Design view, it shows nothing. But clicking on live view or previewing in browser shows the image perfectly. In Design View, the screen is gray instead of the normal white and there are two icons (one resembling a think bubble and the other a piece of paper). If I click on the little icons, the gray screen turns white but clicking doesn't allow me to edit or place anything new in Design view. Does anyone know what's going on? I can't continue unless I can see the image and click on it in Design view since I'll be mapping the image to link to another page!

IPhoto main view window does not update

I have a problem with the recent version of iPhoto 9.3 (650.39). Sometimes, if I return from a full view of an image, and then try to go to a different folder, album or anything, the main window view does not update. If I resize iPhoto, the main window stays the same.
I need to restart iPhoto to fix this problem. My Mac is a 2011 iMac with the latest Version of OS X 10.7.4
Anyone has a similar problem?

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

If it does work in Firefox Safe-mode then disable all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Cannot view jpeg images in windows photo viewer (windows 7 32 bit)

When i open any jpeg image in windows photo viewer, it opens but shows nothing, only black plain image is displayed like below.
I am using adobe cs5 bridge and cannot preview the images in bridge as well, instead same black preview is shown.
Any one can help please....this is getting too much irritating for me.

A simple feature that was on Motion 4 when you use several screens... I can't find how to undock the main viewer window to put it on a different screen! Thanks

Windows 7 32 bit installation problem

My Lenovo g50-30 with pentium n3530 inside shows bluescreen while & after installing Windows 7 32 bit. This type of system refuses to load despite all effort and reboots . The notebook is new, it contained freeDOS originally. BIOS update doesn't help, since it can only be made directly in OC. Help required. Ideas fail me.

I had similar issues from time to time with Windows Vista / 7 - usually worked after I disabled the onboard COM and Parallel ports.

Mail won't display the viewer window, and it will not close (force quit does not show in menu bar). Can't shut down to reboot because the open mail program prevents it. Any advice?

Mail does not show the viewer window even when new viewer window is cliced. I tried to close mail and reopen, but it will not close, and force quit option does not appear in window bar. I tried to shut down the computer and reboot, but it cannot close because of open mail program it says. Help!

Photoshop CS6 is not showing any network drives within windows 8.1, I can only browse the local disk for files. Please advise?
And when i try opening a file directly from the network, photoshop starts but does not open the selected file?

The dialog you show there looks like it may be a CS6 open dialog running on windows 8.1 that is showing what is local. Network is not highlighted selected.

How do I HIDE "Notes" from my Main Message Viewer Window

Old "Notes" are cluttering up my Inbox views in the main mail message viewer window.
The yellow pad "Notes" feature in Mail is helpful, but every time I create a new note - which I may well want to keep around for a long time - the note title etc appears in my active message inbox viewer window. How can I turn off the apparently default display of notes with the content of my normal in boxes ??
There is a separate "Notes" folder created by the Mail .app under the heading of "REMINDERS" - I want my "Notes" titles to be visible only when I click that notes folder itself and not with all my incoming (new) messages.

Multiclip: nothing shows in angle viewer

Hmm, I've used multiclips before without problem, but now I'm stuck. I synced 2 video angles and a separate audio track. Then I added the multiclip to the timeline and opened angle viewer. The angle viewer is blank though--nothing showing. When I click on the timeline and play I see one clip (not in the angle viewer, but in the other view to the right of the angle viewer. Same if I click and play on the multiclip in events, I get playback of one angle but nothing in angle viewer.
I've got 2 angles checked and picture only (I've also tried picture and sound). Using FCP X 10.0.5

I'll try trashing prefs and let you know. I'm attaching a screenshot. Multicam clip is shown bottom left...I double-click on that, and the title of the multiclip shows at top of angle viewer, but nothing there as you can see.
