"Nothing to Install" Updater Error Message

I deleted the iPod Updater 2005-11-17 because I was having problems getting my iPod to mount. (That problem is still unresolved).
I just purchased an iPod Mini and downloaded the iPod Updater 2005-11-17. When I try to install the software I get the message nothing to install.

Hello, you should probably 'Restore' your iPod with the Updater. You'll lose all your data on the iPod. so if you have any text files, contacts etc. stored on it, you should back it up. the music can be restored later with iTunes. but yeah, restore it then, update it. try that, let us know how you do.

If you have security software (antivirus, firewall etc.) you can try to temporarily disable it for a few minutes, visit a safe site (e.g. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird), download and check. Please also see [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firewalls#Firewall_pitfalls this].
If it works you can then try deleting all existing instances of Firefox and its related processes/files in all the different configuration modules/areas of the security software like process monitoring, sub/spawned process control, virtualization, HIPS etc., in addition to the security software's main configuration panel. Instead create new fully allowed/trusted rules for Firefox + its related processes in all the different modules/panels - a genuine/original Firefox installer as well as all the installed EXEs (Application) and DLLs (Application extension) are digitally signed by Mozilla Corporation (right-click > Properties > Digital Signatures). Even otherwise, some security software may also ask again when Firefox and/or its sub processes are started, and you may be able to allow/trust at that time. Assuming that you are in Win (which you haven't said), you can try using this tool to first remove all traces of previous versions of Reader:

Then, download the full offline Reader installer from

and run it immediately after restarting your computer.

When I click on "more details" my finder opens like I'm supposed to choose a file and it's all gibberish to me.

Itunes won't install. Error message: Apple Application Support not found. What is the fix for this?

It is always these four updates that fail. I've tried downloading and installing them seperately from apple downloads. I've tried various recommended fixes, and nothing I can figure out works. Before these problems, itunes worked on the computer for a year.

"Printer cartridges not installed correctly" error message

HP Tech Support and HP Envy Users, Still getting the "Printer cartridges not installed correctly" error message for no good reason and it's July 2015! HP should have fixed this problem a long time ago based on the date of the posts from users. And/or corrected the misleading error message, as the users did install them correctly. I didn't get an installation error message when I installed my cartridges and I have been able to print successfully on this current set of cartridges. My error message appeared out of the blue. I've done all the troubleshooting steps except replace BOTH cartridges. I will do that. If the error message goes away once I've replaced one or both cartridges, HP should have long provided an update that says, "replace ink cartridges" and not the misleading one of not being installed correctly. If that doesn't clear up the problem, I will call HP as it's still under warranty. Hope I didn't get one of the "lemons" that require servicing.

I just bought LR4 and it won't install.
Error message reads: Operation could not be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error-1.) Couldn't open "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.pkg".

btw, I bought the CD version.
Lr window opens up upon instering the CD with the the "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.pkg" icon (with the picture of the brown box) and the "Lightroom 4 Readme.pdf" icon. That's as far as I can get.

My CC icon has an exclamation mark next to it and following message appears when in Apps:
"The Add-on Creative Cloud Libraries failed to install, General error message"

Restart. If an application won't quit and prevents restarting, select
 ▹ Force Quit...
from the menu bar, then select the frozen application from the list and press return. As a last resort, force a shutdown by holding down the power button for a few seconds. Then press it again briefly to start up. Test.

Thanks for the reply. The deletion of the BadDrivers.txt file is your best opportunity for a resolution. So, let us pursue that.
If you have Premiere Elements 10 on Windows 7 64 bit, the BadDrivers.txt file is there. But....in your attachments, you show
Program Files
Program Files (x86)
and no signs of Program Data where you must start in the path to the BadDrivers.txt file.
a. Could you be using Windows 7 32 bit?
or
b. Are you working with Folder Options Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the complete path cited.
In Windows 7 64 bit,
Click on Start
In the Search field that appears above Start, type in Folder Options.
Folder Options text will appear at the top of that left column for you to click on.
Clicking on Folder Options will bring up its dialog.
Click on the View Tab of the Folder Options dialog.
Then scroll down the list of options under View until you reach Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives,
and make sure that it is selected.
Program Data should appear in the lineup which includes Program Files and Program Files (x86).
Please let us know the outcome.
