My ipod nano 7 generation won't turn on and wasn't recognized by Itunes on my computer. I tried holding the on/off button for six seconds but it didn't work! Help!

I need internet explorer 5.5 or greater in order to use an online course. I can see that there isn't a mac explorer update but is there another way? I tried the wine bottler app and it didn't work for me.

I would to a Restore. Select the iPod in iTunes. Go to the Summary tab for the iPod. There is a button there to do a Restore. This will erase the iPod, re-install its software, and set it to default settings. After Restore complete, try playing songs on the iPod again.
If THAT does not fix the problem, and it's not bad headphones (since you also tried the "speaker"), there is probably a hardware problem on the iPod. All 7th gen nanos are still under warranty. If you have an Apple Store nearby, you should take it to the store's Genius Bar. To minimize waiting, you can make a reservation on store's web page.

Why don't my tabs save anymore when i close Firefox. I'm not asked to save and i want to! i've tried looking in the help database and it does suggest settings may be wrong but does not offer any suggestions to fix.
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session.
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default <b>about:home</b> Home page.
Another possibility is to use:
*Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
You can set the warn prefs on the <b>about:config</b> page to <b>true</b> via the right-click context menu or toggle the value with a double left-click.

I am trying to sync an audiobook from iTunes to a 7th Generation iPod Nano. The center button on my 7th generation ipod nano no longer works
I have had my 7th generation ipod nano for about 6 months. It only stays plugged into my vehicle. 3 days ago, the center button quit working. It still plays music and the touch screen works, as well at the top on/off button. What can I do to fix this?

7th generation ipod nano stops tracking my runs after a minute
7th Generation Ipod Nano: when using the fitness icon and running, it pauses every minute or so and i have to physically hit resume to start again and the mileage is off. Anyone know how to fix? I can't get it to calibrate because it won't make it through a whole work out to do that.
Is an earphone or Bluetooth headphone connected to the nano?
If its an earphone you can check the earpod jack on the iPod to see if there is any lint in it.
If there is no earphone or Bluetooth headphones connected, the iPod thinks play was hit by accident and pauses it to conserve battery. -

The first one is a link to a walk in store setup and apointment page, there you can take it in and have it fixed. the second helps you choose your problem then find more options on getting fixed.
