Notificaion if phone is "out of range" please return it

Hi,
in the swr10 there is an option "notify when connection is lost"
So i knew i was forgetting my phone, this is a fantastic option..
Why is this not on the swr30?
This is a function that i miss several times in a week,
suggestion, it would be nice if it would be coupled to nfc tag, so it would turn of when @ home but get turned on when i leave home and never 4get my phone again..
thanks for considdering this..

  • G3 10.3.9 & Itune upgrade - monitor say "out of range" - Please Help

Please help. I have G3 with 512Ram. I've been running Panther totally rialiably for a year and last night I decided to upgrade to 10.3.9 & the latest itunes. The 10.3.9 upgrade went fine and the G3 restarted and ran perfectly but after the itunes upgrade the G3 tries to restart but the monitor turns black after the start tones and comes up with the message "out of range" refereing to the frequences. I can't do anything to get past this message. Is there anyway I can get past this message to reset things? I have the Panther discs and I don't mind loosing my data but I don't want to loose my G3. Are there any keys or proceedures to get me back to square one? I've pressed every key on the keyboard & nothing happens. Please help...I love my G3

Stay calm. This is a minor problem. Do not initialize your Hard drive.
The message saying "out of range" comes DIRECTLY from your monitor, not from Mac OS X. But the reason it appears is that Mac OS X has become confused about what frequency your monitor should be running at. This often happens when the System Parameters -- stored in Parameter RAM and backed up with a small battery -- become corrupted.
The corruption can happen "just because" or it can happen when the Backup battery is forced to work (by loss of main power) but is not strong enough to do the job. If you cannot remember when you last changed it, now is probably a good time.
To get back in business, in the short run, you should reset the PRAM:
2238- Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
If a power fluctuation or outage precipitated this problem, the next time it happens will likely cause it again, so replace the 1/2 AA size 3.6 Volt non-recharging battery at your earliest convenience. More info here:

  • Attribute out of range error with Dalsa Spyder camera

I have a Dalsa Spyder camera SG-11 which seems to work fine in NI MAX. I've also had this camera working successfully in a LabView vi but now, for some reason, I am getting an error message "Attribute out of range  (-1074360302)".
I've tried using different gain values (since MAX sometimes gives an attribute out of range error relating to gain) but am not having much success.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a work around?

    Hi LightWorker,
I've not seen this probelm specifically with Dalsa Spyder SG-11 cameras but there are several KnowLedge Base Articles on the error for various differnt models of camera. It may be that one of these fixes will apply to your camera as well.

  • G3 Monitor saying "out of range" after itunes upgrade - HELP PLEASE

I'm running a G3 with 512RAM. It has been running Panther totally reliably for a year. I upgraded to 10.3.9 and the G3 ran no problem. I upgraded to the latest Itunes, restarted the G3 and now after the tones the monitor turns black with the message "out of range" refering to the frequency setting. I can hear to G3 drive running but I cant progress beyond this message on the monitor. Please help...have I lost my G3 for ever? is there a safe mode I can start the G3 in? I have the Panther discs but I don't seem able to do anything to start this G3 now. Please help..I love this Mac, I dont want to loose it, don't mind loosing the data, but not the mac..any ideas..please

Refer to mac manual - Resetting the PRAM (parameter randon access memory).
Restart whilst holding Command/option/p/r keys and release after second tones. Suggest changing internal battery also.

  • Is the Smartband Talk supposed to vibrate if out of range of the phone's Bluetooth?

I read somewhere that if the Smartband Talk goes out of range of the phone's Bluetooth, it will vibrate. However, I left the phone somewhere and walked far away until I lost the connection, but the Smartband talk never vibrates. Just wondering if this is a feature or I need to do something to enable it. Thanks!

  • Input signal out of range with HDMI to VGA adapter LE1901w

    Hi!
Recently I acquired an LE1901w monitor to use as second screen. I'm trying to connect it to my Toshiba u925 using an HDMI to VGA adapter (because neither the monitor has a HDMI port nor the notebook has a VGA output).
I'm getting the message "input signal out of range" asking to change to 1440x920 @ 60Hz and it keeps showing until the monitor goes to sleep even when I change the settings as per requested.
I have an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 and i'm using the default Windows monitor drivers for Windows 8.1
    Any comment will be helpful
    Thanks

    Hello @fbinim,
I understand that you are getting the message "Input Signal Out Of Range" and it is asking you to change to 1440x920 @ 60 Hz. I suspect this is a driver issue and you will need to ensure that your drivers are up to date on your computer. Just to be sure I would recommend if you could to move the HP LE1901W monitor to another computer and ensure that you do not have the problem there. If you do have it on another computer The issue you are experiencing appears to be a physical issue. Please call our technical support at 800-474-6836. • Mobile Network out of Range

My phone stopped working randomly a couple of days ago. I cant send or receive texts or calls. In the corner where the signal is, changed from edge/GPRS to GMS now it's just constantly on SOS. I've tried going into mobile network options and switching network and then switching back and it's saying that my mobile network is out of range? I've also tried doing a battery pull and doing a security wipe which just deleted all my contacts I've been in contact with my mobile network and they told me try the SIM in another phone, and that worked so it's definitely a problem with the phone rather than the network. Any idea how I can fix this?

Oh that's a shame. Of course, it's exactly what that action is supposed to do...

And they stopped helping you at this point? That feels like a terrible fob off to me. You see, you pay them for 100% of your service and 100% of your formal support. Right now, they seem to be delivering neither to you...you should be very upset (with them) about that. If you continue to pursue with them, they will have the power to escalate into RIM for enhanced support to you, and at no charge to you...that's their responsibility indeed, to stay with the issue from their paying customer until the issue is resolved one way or another.

  • PlayBook loses Bluetooth connection when out of range

    This is a new problem.
I have eventually resolved the issue of getting 5.0 software on my 9000 phone. Installed the Blackberry Bridge, linked the Bluetooth, and it works fine on the PlayBook. An ideal product for what I want to do.
However, when I move the phone out of range of the tablet Bluetooth disconnects and will only reconnect if I delete all the devices and reinstall. According to the various blogs on the web this is a common problem.
All the other Bluetooth facilities work now and before off the phone, so I am convinced the issue is with the software on the tablet.
    Please help me.

NEVER MIND!!!  The app I was using was BackCountry.  May Need GPS Airtime! This app may need GPS Airtime to function properly on Droids. Please bundle GPS Airtime with the paid version of Backcountry. Had I but know this, I would not have posted on Verizon my question about Airplane mode and GPS functioning, and would have saved time on my recent trip to Colorado back country. As it was, I had to discover the Airplane mode/GPS relationship on my own. PS: App works great on my RAZR MAXX, now that I have GPS Airtime and doesn't work for sour apples without it.
HOWEVER, Verizon, what are you going to do to fix this?  I'd still like to know that.

  • Xen Kernel randomly fails to load and goes out of range

Been having an on/off issue lately that requires a hard reset of my system.  Essentially what happens is the system begins to load when my monitor reports an error that the signal is out of range.  I try to pretend login and reboot, but it does not work.  Instead, I am forced to simply reset the system and once reset it appears to boot OK without any issues.  In fact I can go a few reboots before once again it decides to break.  Below is what should be one of the logs from a failed boot, in fact, the system is in this same failed state right now as well.

  • Web Analysis report error : Array Index out of range :1

while running from workspace , below error is being thrown after making few changes to the layout (e.g. moving Measures from Page to Row ) though Design for HTML setting applied.
Array Index out of range :1
These reports are running well in WA studio.
Can any one advise on this please.

Array index out of range: 1The only time you will get that error is when you are accessing an elements index that is not present in the actual indexes in that array

  • Out of range output video size ?

    Hello,
I would like to use a camera which has a large output size, more than 1920x1080.
    When I select the camera, I've a message :
Out of range output video size
One or more output video width and height are out of range. Please provide video size in range 80x60 to 1920x1080.
Is it a limitation of FMLE or FMS ? (I think it's FMLE because the message appears even if the "save to file" is the only publishing format selected)
Is there a way to edit a confugration file to remove this limit ?
    Best regards,

why don't you change that background to what you want in desktop system preferences when the second monitor is connected? different monitors have different desktop backgrounds and they remember the settings from the last time they were connected.
