Notification bubbles stick on screen

Hi there,
I've got a problem with Notification Center in Mac OS X 10.8.3 that popped up just recently:
Notification just stick on the screen after I click on them. The clicked button stays pressed, nothing else happens. I cannot dismiss these notifications other than logging out and logging in back again.
This is a screenshot of the typical situation:
Any idea how I can fix this?
The menu bar holds only Apple supplied items but MenuCalendarClock iCal and DropBox.
Thanks in advance,
Mark

Try trashing the Finder preferences file.
The file is in Users / ~ / Library / Preferences. This is the hidden Library, not the one at the root level.
In Finder, hold the Optiion key down and click on Go in the menu bar. There, select Library. Preferences is in that folder.
The file you want is com.apple.finder.plist
Trash that file.

  • My notification bubble for iOS 7.0.6 is still showing up!

On my iPad Mini, my notification bubble is showing up after I already updated. It won't go away, I already hard booted it twice, and went through all of the setting sections to make sure it was not showing up. I can't stand those notification bubbles, and it won't go away. What do I do?

I assume that hard booting is the process of holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time, so try this in addition to a reset. Close the settings app and then reset the iPad.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the settings app then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iP

  • Sliding notifications from the lock screen in iOS 7

    Hi,
I'm having problem sliding notifications from the lock screen on my iPhone 5S/iPad Mini. This is more to do with iOS 7 than iPhone/iPad. When I try to slide it, it takes me to the unlock screen. Please see attached screenshot for details. Hope Apple could fix this soon. Also, I would love to know if anyone else faced this issue.

  • Bubble under the screen(original iPhone

I just noticed today that a bubble under the screen has appeared. At first I thought that it was on top of the screen so I try to clean it. My question is I bought it back in Feb 2008, checked the website and it is still under the limited warranty, does the warranty cover this? If so how do I get in contact with Apple to get this fixed?

Should still be covered under warranty. If you're near an Apple Store you can bring it in for repair/exchange. If you're not near one, you can call Apple Care and they'll send you a prepaid container in which to send it.

My cat walked across my keyboard and now I have black text bubbles on my screen that basically tell me every move I am making and I can't figure out how to get rid of them.

I have a 2G iPhone I purchused in January and I have three small spherical bubbles under the screen. I had a screen protector on and recently took it off and I noticed the bubbles. I have heard of people getting replacements but my real question is can I still get a 2G iPhone replacement from an apple store even though they only sell 3G iPhones now?

was this done in store? I am going to the Charlotte Apple store tonight or tomorrow night for this very purpose. thanks.

  • A way to have notifications appear on lock screen but not activate the screen each time I receive one?

Using an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1 I like how I can have my notifications appear on my lock screen (usually for a new email) but dislike how every time I receive a notification, my iPhone screen lights up with the notification. Is there a way to continue receiving notifications on my lock screen but not have the screen illuminate every time I receive one? It's a constant distraction when I am at work, and I like to keep my phone turned face-up on my desk in case I get a call.

    No

  • Bubbles on ipod screen

my cideo ipod that i have had for a week started to get tiny bubbles on it. They look like air bubbles you get if you put on a screen protector. I sent it to apple and they said no problem found. So if maybe someone could tell me what to do to fix this. I would think they could fix it after only having it a week?

I would call apple and tell them how it is and that there are bubbles on the screen and they need to fix it. if you complain loud enough they will fix it.. or exchange it where you bought it for a new one.
