Notification Center isn't pulling down

Hi, I have a problem with my iPhone 3GS running iOS 5.1.1 which is Notification Center isn't pulling down. My screen is fine as it is all responsive everywhere I touch Do I need to do a restore? Ive tried turning it off and on and putting it into DFU mode but no luck. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks :)

I don't think you can disable either Notification Center (top of screen) nor Control Center (bottom of screen). You might try resetting your phone...it's been known to cure many odd quirks:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

Notification screen won't pull down

Ever since updating to iOS 8 my phone (5S) will randomly stop showing the notification screen when I attempt to pull it down. Shutting my phone down and turning it back on fixes the problem. I'd estimate this happens a couple of times a week on average. Very irritating. Is this a known issue? Does anyone know if there's a better fix than rebooting your phone?

I see that you have an issue with your notification center in your iPhone. It seems like you have already tried a few troubleshooting steps and have determined that the issue can be temporarily resolved by restarting your iOS device. Since this only solves the issue for a short while, I would like to suggest that you take the troubleshooting a little further and reset your iOS device to see if that resolves the issue permanently. HT6154 My notification listings don't pull down all the way??

When I go to pull down my notification listings, the bar only comes halfway down.

Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?

I will get notifications but I can't pull down the actual menu to look at all of them. Does anyone know why? Or how it can be fixed?

It's quite easy for me to answer this question, your phone is water damaged. I used to have Sony Xperia Z and which was water damaged too, I couldn't pull down the notification/illumination bar. The water entered through your speaker at the top which happened to me. It's quite notable that you'll have to spend like half of the price of your phone to fix this issue...but I have something easy round for you. You should place that phone in a polythene bag for 3 days minimum with full of dried rice and every path ways that water can enter should be opened up. 'Cause mostly water damaged phones are fixed by rice because rice s-u-cks every water out of your phone. Note: Now I'm SP user. Had to sell that old phone after fixing the issue. HT4623 Notification screen won't pull down iOS 6

Just updated to IOS 6 and now my notification pull down screen is not available. Do I have to enable it somewhere?

Fixed it . Just turned my phone off then back on again and now it works. Realized I haven't turned it off in a while. Thanks anyway.

So i just upgraded my phone. My apps weren't launching. Tried a fix from someone to download a free app from the app store and now they all launch! Whew!
But the notification center still isn't working on my phone. . I swiped it and saw it the screen came up, but it's not showing the phone call or email that just came in. just the weather update! On my friend's phone who had upgraded she had a little bar across the top that was always there with current notifications. Mine doesn't do that. Any suggestions?

My Notification Center isn't updating

I recently updated my Macbook Pro to Mountain Lion and my notification center is full of emails and iMessages that are marked as unread but are ones that I have read. They're marked as read in the Mail and messages apps but are still listed as unread in Notification Center. It's not all emails, though, but there doesn't seem to be a pattern. Anyone else have a similar problem or know of any fixes?

First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

How to make it so layer effects pulldown isn't pulled down by default?

In photoshop, when an effect is applied to a layer, an "FX" arrow pulldown automatically appears showing the applied effects (i.e. dropshadow, stroke, etc). Often i find myself copying a layer style and pasting it to a bunch of layers at the same time. Then i find myself having to spend the time hitting that little pulldown arrow for the layer effects. I don't like them showing because the layer panel gets too crowded. Is there a way to change this default?
I was also wondering if there is a way to change the layer color for a bunch of layers all at the same time without having to group them?

palettes in CS4 anymore, they're called
panels now.

Can not pull down notification bar in PORTRAIT mode

I bought K900 from flipkart.com 2 months ago and everything was working ok. Now suddenly I have a problem with the notification bar; I can not pull down my notification bar. This problem started when I was using "GOOGLE+ app" and suddenly the notification bar automatically got pulled down; from that point I am unable to pull down my notification bar down. I have tried following ->
1) Disable google+ app, uninstall google+ uppdates
2) Restart phone normally and ALSO restarting the phone in safe mode.
3) clear cache using an app "App managet" and also clear ALL cache using the recovery (by pressing vol down and power button).
4) Factory reset
5) tried another lauchers : LauncherPro, Atom launcher
Has anyone faced this problem? There is an app on playstore "Drop down" which pulls down the notification bar. The touch sensors and also the display is working fine in the area of the notification bar (BUT I can not pull down by using fingers/swipe-down action). When the screen is in LANDSCAPE mode i.e. while playing a video using MXPlayer; the notification bar CAN BE PULLED DOWN, BUT CAN NOT in PORTRAIT mode.
I have also read on the internet that some people having samsung galaxy s3/s4 have also faced the same problem.
Can anybody suggest me to do something? Are my screen pixels/touch sensors dead on the top most row??
My K900 is stock(non-rooted) and has android 4.2.1; I have not updated my phone to the latest firmware.

I called Apple and was completely disappointed with their answer. They indicated that they would not answer such a question, since they deemed it to be "outside of the scope of Apple support" since my question was deemed "not a consumer-oriented
question."
So yesterday, I took my Samsung SyncMaster 204T monitor to the local Apple retailer to try it out on an actual system. I specifically tried it out on the 24" iMac with the nVidia 7300GT graphics card, since that is the system I was interested in.
It turned out that this monitor works beautifully in portrait mode with the above system using Tiger 10.4.8.
So, I went and bought it!!

My status bar won't pull down and I can't use the search/menu buttons at the top of sony/stock apps

Hi. I recently bought a Sony XPERIA SP and have been using it for a week. Yesterday I turned on my phone to download an app and the search/menu buttons at the top of the screen in the play store wouldn't work. I tried using the buttons that appear at the top in Walkman, Album, and Messaging, and they didn't work either. I then received a text and swiped down on my notification bar a few times but that wouldn't work either. Weirdly, the notification bar will only pull down in landscape mode. Help please?

Notification Center bugs

Hey guys,
My notification center isn't really working anymore it seems like today's summary and tomorrows summary isn't showing up although I turned it on in the settings!
Plus it doesn't show me the weather as well. I already restored my phone but I still have the problem!
I made some screenshots maybe somebody knows how to fix this issue!

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't work reset all settings as Micdej describes.
