Notification centre doesn't show upcoming calendar events!!!

After upgrading my iPad to iOS 6 my calendar events don't get updated in notification centre. I've set my calendar to show 25 events, now it only shows three even though I have other events coming up tomorrow (all within 24h). For events to show I have to restart the iPad which I find very annoying!!
Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

I am having the same exact problem on my iphone 4, only in my case the problem just started a few days ago (it doesn't seem to be related to ios 6). This is the first ASC discussion board I have found specifically dedicated to the topic. Any other posts have just been in passing. It seems either only a handful of people are having this problem or are actually noticing it. I am planning to go to my local Apple Store tomorrow to see if I can get any suggestions, but my fear is that they aren't aware enough of the problem to really have a solution.

I think there is a flaw in ios 5. Notification centre doesn't show missed call, during another call is in progress, after accessing recent calls in phone app, once.

Notification centre in ios 5 is not showing the missed calls when another call is in progress. It shows perfectly before accessing the phone app. But once you access the recent calls in phone app, then afterwards it stops showing the missed calls during another call is in progress.

Forgot to add, this happens, when you receive a call, during the phone is locked, and you receive a call, while the previous call is in progress.

ICal doesn't show my calendars, although data clearly sits on my computer

After a system crash, iCal doesn't show my calendars any more. It appears in the same state as when I opened it the very first time, i.e. contains empy "Work" and "Home" calendars.
Yet,
~/Library/Application Support/iCal
contains plenty of data that looks as if it were my calendar's contents, namely in the subdirectory "Sources".
On the other hand
~/Library/Calendars
does not exist. According to some documentation it should've been there.
Luckily, I had only recently synchronized my iPod, and I can still read my calendars from it.
How can I make my calendars re-appear in iCal, either based on the data that are still on my laptop, or from my iPod?? And then, in the future I'll make sure to have a more professional backup. ;-(

Touch ignores new events in ical and iTunes doesn't show new calendars

i just set my Touch (2nd gen 2.1.1) back to the factory settings with a freshly created itunes lib.
My problem was (and still is) that i couldn't sync new events from my macbook to the touch.
i also created a new calendar to ical and checked if naming could be the reason. but the new calendar doesn't show up in the info part of itunes. even if i select replace all calendars on my ipod.

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components

- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Notification Center does not show current calendar entries? How can i fix it?

Sometimes entries for the next 24hours are shown in notification center, and sometimes not. It doesn't have to do with setting an alert, or not.
I really don't know, why it isn't possible to Show up calendar entries for at least 3 days for example.

Searching on keywords, if that's what you're doing, has never really worked. As to searching just on the category in the iTunes Store, it's most unlikely to throw up your podcast. There are thousands of podcasts out there, and it would be quite impossible to display on one page the entire list for any category. What you see are 'featured' podcasts, chosen by Apple as being special; please see this Tech Note:

Note that there is no way you can influence the selection other than making your podcast really special.

Outlook 2007 "To Do" bar not showing iCloud Calendar events:

It may be that Apple did not program into the iCloud software that piggybacks to Outlook 2007 the "To Do/Appointments" bar that shows all your iCloud calendar events on the right side of Outlook. It took hours with Apple to get all devices to sync with Outlook but it now syncs, finally.....just can't figure out a way to see the "To Do/Appointment" bar on the screen right side when the calendar is up. Anyone figure out if that feature still functions or if that is disabled when the iCloud piggyback software is installed with Outlook 2007?

i just want share my ideas.
option a: please check your conduit if it automatically goes to do nothing. if that is the case, check if you have an EAS account on your versamail.
option b: try creating a new calendar data on outlook then syncronize your phone. if the new data will transfer, it means that the rest of your calaendar data are corrupted.
option c:try to check also that if your calendar data on outlook are on the default calendar folder and not on a subfolder.
please feel free to reply if what happens after you perform them.

Double click home button for camera to show up (and iPod). Notifications seem to show up on lock screen that way, too.

My notification bar doesn't show the weather, how can I fix that?

- go to settings>notifications
- two list are shown the top list is of the apps that will be shown in the notification centre and the bottom list is the apps that will not
- make sure weather is in the top list at the top
- you can do this by holding the 3 lines to the right of the weather app and simply slide it to the top of the list
- go into the weather app turn notification "on"

Facebook notification centre doesn't work

i'm having an issue with my Facebook account and the notifications centre.
the thing is that i don't receive notifications on my mbp from Facebook account.i changed recently my password and updated the accounts on system preferences
on the section of notification centre but i still don't receive any kind of notifications of fb account.
the weird thing is that i can post through my notification centre on my wall.
so any advice/help?

I'm sorry to hear you are having this issue with Yosemite. If you are not seeing notifications for a specific application or service (such as Facebook), but are still able to use other functions of that app/service through Notification Center, you may want to double check that Notifications haven't been turned off for that specific app/service. Calendar doesn't show every dated event?

I am developing with Portal 3.0.9.x and have a table full of dates. When I display the calendar it only shows a few of the many events. Each event is on a separate date. Its like there is too many events and the calendar only wants to show a certain number. If I delete events back to a certain number, it allows me to add events back up to the restricting number? Really weird...Is there a bug or any issues regarding this? Should I call for oracle Support?

There is a bug filed related to ORDER BY. Eric's suggestion should solve your problem. You need to have the ORDER BY at the end. Incase you are still not able to get the correct result then pls post your query with more information.

In the ios5 notification centre can i change which calendars i see or do i have to have all of them showing?

You can usually find the imported IE Favorites in a folder ("From Internet Explorer") at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks).
If you can't find them in the "From Internet Explorer" folder then try this:
* Export the favorites in IE to an HTML file (bookmarks.html): File > Import and Export
* Import the HTML file in Firefox: Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML: From File

Calendar on iPad (OS7.0.4) does not show home calendar events

I can create an event on my ipad, but it does not show up on the calendar. It does show up in icloud and iphone, but not on the ipad. Likewise I can create events on my iphone and icloud. Those events show up on the iphone and icloud, but not the ipad. I checked teh settings and the Home calendar is shown as default.

Is the "Home" calendar displayed on the device (Calendar app > Calendars [lower center] > [tap the the Home Calendar if it is not checked]

I wish to show declined calendar events on iOS devices

I often get calendar invitations which where I will not participate. If I decline the event, it still shows on the Mac Calendar (as declined, but visible). But, it is not visible on my iOS device calendars. I have the "Show Declined Events" option turned on. The challenge is that if I do get an opportunity to participate in an event that I previously declined, I cannot get back to the event information. I have resorted to setting the response to "Maybe", which is kind of vague to the meeting organizer.
Any thoughts on how this can be addressed? I am on iOS 8.2. But, this has been happening for as long as I can remember.

I figured out how to resolve the issue. I had to change the renderMode from "cpu" to "direct". That solved the problem, and the application performs perfectly. Even the video displays work ok. It's interesting that Adobe advises against using "gpu" or "direct" renderMode when displaying video. I need to figure out why and make sure the application is acceptable as is.
I have more testing to conduct, but I'm very encouraged.

External Hard drive doesn't show in the event library?

Would anyone know why my external HD mounts to my computer, yet does not show up in my event library window?

These drives either have names like "Video" or folders inside that are usually in camera drives, like "DCIM".
If you rename the drives or folders that are causing it, FCP X will see them as drives. No need to erase or reformat anything, just figure out what names to change: e.g., renaming a drive "Video" to "johng67 Video" may be all it takes.
Remember that for example an SD card from a camera that you plug in to your mac sd slot appears to the application just as a volume; if you copy it entirely to a pen drive or a large hard drive they would all appear the same.
FCP X has to apply some heuristics to try and figure out if it should treat it as a hard drive or a "camera". No such heuristics can be 100% accurate - that's why they're heuristics.

Ical doesn't show all calendars from icloud

I don't all the calenders from icloud from my ipad 2 and ,my iphone 4, anyone has similar problem? and happen to know what steps I missed??

Sometimes making the Calendar window bigger, or using full screen allows additional text to be displayed.
View>"Make Text Smaller" is also an option for those with Eagle Eyes.
