Notification centre getting stuck after update

Hello,
Has anyone found their notification centre is getting stuck halfway down the screen after the 5.1 update?

I have noticed the same problem .It seems to happen only after installing ios 5.1.1. I have found that the problem gets rectified when i press the sleep/wake button and close the screen and then restart.
However pressing the home button didnt seem to work

Routers gets stuck after updating FW......

Hello all,
I have a wireless router - model BEFW114 ver.4.
A few days ago I downloaded the newest FW from the linksys site and installed it.
Since then, my router gets stuck every hour and I have to restart it by power off and on.
I am using PPTP connection to cables internet - can't connect through L2TP.
I had some stucks before the update but they were once or two times a day.
Another thing I saw is that when the internet connection is loaded, it gets stuck-
when I am downloading a big file for ex.
please help me...

How do I reset it for 30 seconds? Press the reset button for 30 seconds
or put it out of elec. for 30 seconds?
Do the router needs to be conected to the computer while doing it or not?

My iMac keeps on losing internet connection. Webpages get stuck after a minute or so. If I check the internet connection via diagnostics it seems to work just fine. Others, like the iPad use the same wifi connection and never fail. What can I do?

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Have you contacted your email provider to make sure there are no problems on their end? If they say their email servers are working properly, check the outgoing and incoming mail servers entries on your iPhone to make sure both are entered correctly. Enter the outgoing mail server even if the account setup indicates that is optional.

I have iphone3gs just upgraded to iOS5 just now.
So far i am not experiencing any slow down because of the new iOS.. Rather i feel like its slightly faster than the previous version (4.3.5)..
One of the first thing i want to try was the location based reminders.. After upgrade i coudn't find the option, and went trough the user manual to find out that it is not available for 3gs..:(

hi ya every1...i got two iphones
one is the iphn 3gs 32gb and the other an iphn 5 64gb...
the iphn5 is working perfectly fine but the iphn 3gs 32gb has started giving me problems after updating it to ios6.1...
the notifications dont show up after the phone is locked...!!
and i always have to go and do a refresh on each app to view the messages or emails..

djrepose , did you try switching on Notifications for the Respective apps under Settings of your iphone?
Settings> Notifications > Click the Respective App and select the Notification type there. Hope this helps

Notification banners get stuck/freeze IOS8 & Facebook only recognises non existent camera roll

Updated my iPhone 5 to IOS 8 yesterday, and I have noticed a few clear bugs, such as Facebook and other apps still connect to your 'camera roll', which now, annoyingly doesn't exist, so you can only post pictures to Facebook from this 'camera roll' folder which is now 'recently added', which only shows and lets you add/upload pictures taken within the last 30 days.
But one of the most annoying bugs I have found is that the notification banners which pop up such as text messages, whats app messages and facebook notifcations/messages, freeze sometimes and I cannot swipe the banner off my screen. I have searched the internet and others are experiencing the same problem, can Apple fix this please?! Is anyone else experiencing this problem? any ideas from anyone ?

The issues related to the 3rd party apps (ex: Facebook) should be resolved when the developer of THAT application updates their app to support iOS 8. Regarding the notifications, you can go to settings, notifications, and change the type of notification to banners (which disappear on their own after a few seconds), or off, if they are getting stuck. Again, that may have to do with the 3rd party apps not being updated to run with iOS 8.

Audio Meters "peak indicator" gets stuck after prolonged use of Premiere Pro CC.

Does anyone else have this issue? After using Premiere for a while (maybe an hour or so straight) the audio meters peak indicator will not reset when you start/stop. What do I mean? If your audio level peaks or goes into the red, it stays there like it should letting you know that the levels had hit above +0db. This is normal. This is good. But usually when you stop the timeline and start again, that red peak indicator is reset and disappears. But for me, after prolonged use (which is say about an hour or so), the meters stop resetting and the red does not go away unless I click on the meter to make it disappear. It looks like this even after stopping/starting the timeline:
***Meters work fine for the first 30mins - hour or so of editing. Hitting stop and then start again resets the meters as it should.
***Eventually the peak indicator (see screenshot above) gets stuck and won't go away. The meters continue to work fine, but the red does not go away.
Only way to then reset it is by clicking on the meter itself. Restarting Premiere Pro CC will put everything back to normal again and it should work fine again...for a while...before its starts to lock up again. This issue was present in 7.0.0 as well as the newly updated 7.0.1 I'm on a 2011 27" iMac with 16gb of RAM. (I've submitted a bug report, but curious if this happens to others.)

As much as I wish all my audio were perfectly leveled at all times... You mix live weddings with DJ's that don't know their own equipment with layers of audio in post and its a recipe for some +0db audio.
In all seriousness, I do hope that if others see this bug, they'll chime in and that this bug gets fixed. It's annoying.

E71 Gets stuck after loud speaker is used in a pho...

My first post...
I only got my phone this week and have used the nokia updater to get the latest firmware (dont know what it is exactly).
I've noticed that after I use the loud speaker/ hands free setting in a phone call the phone gets stuck on the "front page". It wont go into the menu page by any means, or any other page at that.

I haven't been able to correlate this with loudspeaker use, but I have experienced the same symptom.
After some usage (it may, or may not involve loudspeaker being activated), menu gets "stuck" behind the home screen. That is, upon pressing the menu button once, I can see a bit of menu screen appearing in top right corner of the screen, but I can't navigate it; it's almost like there is some bug in z-buffer ordering of the screens being rendered, and/or it also prevents the screen getting focus. I can still switch between the apps already running via the menu button press-and-hold though.
Didn't find a way to cure this except by switching the phone off/on.
Quite annoying.
This is on 100.07.76 RM-357 phone, will report if this continues after I upgrade to the latest firmware soonish.
P.S. At least one of my friends is experiencing exactly the same behaviour on his E71.

Canvas playback gets stuck after few seconds

Hi Guys, I'm posting this as my last chance to find some help. Recently I read tons of threads about choppy playback in FCP canvas but couldn't find anything useful.
I'm using unibody MBP 2.6 GHz, 4GB RAM. Latest Mac OS X version, latest FCP 7 version.
I'm trying to edit a footage captured by Canon 5D Mark II Camera. Using Compressor I downscaled the footage from Full HD to 1280x720 using Apple ProRes Codec. After importing into the FCP timeline it plays smoothly but if I do any change to the clip (speed change), canvas plays only 2 or 3 seconds of the clip, gets stuck while playhead is still moving and then when playhead reaches the end canvas shows the last frame of the clip. So when I wanna play the clip, canvas plays first few seconds then gets stuck and then shows me final frame.
You would probably need some more information about my sequence...if you do so, just ask.
Please, help me as I really need to finish this clip for my client.

How do I fix Calendar getting stuck with updating to iOS5?

I have a 3rd generation iPod Touch. I updated to iOS5 this summer, but some programs/apps got very slow, but the biggest, consistent problem is the Calendar app. It gets stuck, it launches and the calendar is "empty" even though there are series of appt. each day. If it does launch okay and I try to touch the + to make a new appointment, it is extremely slow, but if it does work, when I tap "done" for it to make the appointment, it gets stuck on the screen and I have to leave the program by tapping the home screen.
How do I get the Calendar app to function smoothly, properly, and just work?
Here's my set up:
3rd generation iPod Touch.
iOS 5.1.1
In Settings -> Accounts:
1.****@gmail.com (which then says iCloud) with Mail "off", Contacts "on" Calendars "OFF", Bookmarks "On" Notes "Off"
2. Gmail with Mail, Calendars and Notes "ON."
(This was the set up from the days of iOS4, IMAP gmail/mail program via wifi, Calendar syncs via google calendar and syncs over to iCal on MacBook Pro, Notes sync wifi into Mail program notes.)
I have tried switching Calendar Off and on again and it doesn't help, but I can try again. I'm looking for the next level of diagnostics or means to remedy the problem.
