Notification - Email to the person responsible
Hi Experts,
I am trying to create a workflow which triggers an email to the user specified in the "Person Responsible" filed in the Tasks in a QM Notification.
A standard workflow is already configured which sends an email to the user who created the notificaion.
Let me know if any further information is required... I m pretty new to Workflo stuff...!

Hi Aabhas,
If I get you correct, you are creatign a custom workflow to send mail to the Person Responsible.
If you are doing so, then you need to add a semd mail step in the workflow and fetch the recipient 'Person Responsible' from the associated business object or FM.

In CJ20N, unable to change the "Person Responsible"
Hi,
In cj20n, When I create a new WBS under a project, the system defaults the Person responsible from the Project level.
The field is display only and I am unable to change it. There is no substitution active in the project profile.
Could anyone help me to change the config so that the user can maintain the "Person Responsible" at the WBS level for the existing projects & the newly created projects.

Dd you check (OPUK) the field selection settings for this field? You can make it editable entry in there.

How to change the Org Data depending on the Person Responsible?
Hi Group,
I have a requirement relating to Org data changing as :
while creating the activities in CRM, by default I was getting the <b>Org data</b> for the person responsible ( whoever has created the <b>Activity</b> ).
there is a provision that, we can change the <b>Person Responsible</b> for the Activity.
and when the <b>Person Resp</b> is changed, the <b>Org data</b> also to be changed accordingly....
But, this was not happening due to some technical reasons....
So please give me some inputs as how to change the <b>Org data</b> according to the changes to the <b>Person Resp</b>.

SYSFAIL queues "User is locked. Please notify the person responsible"
Hi Experts,
We have noticed a recurrent scenario in all of our CRM 5.0 environments, where sales/service documents (and other queues, for instance WFM Update queues) remain in SYSFAIL either in SMQ1 Outbound or in SMQ2 Inbound queues.
These queues show the error "User is locked. Please notify the person responsible." or "User does not exist".
We have identified that the reason why they remain with SYSFAIL, is that they were recently editted by a Login that was either LOCKED or REMOVED from CRM. So, as a workaround, we have either unlocked or restored the ID temporarily and reprocessed the queues.
However, is there any permanent solution to prevent this from happening? We do not have a proactive way to identify this before it actually happens. Why would the queues be processed by the older login (the one removed/locked) while that IC Agent is not displayed anymore in the "Partners" tab from the affected document?
Any suggestion / comment will be appreciated.

I guess the RFC connection used for the replication (either in tx SMOEAC in CRM or in table CRMRFCPAR in ECC) is not correctly configured in SM59. Normally you would use a RFC connection with a replication user assigned (SAP proposes user ALEREMOTE for this). If you setup your RFC this way, the replication will always be carried out using that user.

Fax the Maintenance order to the person responsible to work center

The business requirement is that the maintenance order should be faxed to the person responsible for the main work center used in the maintenance order.

the business requirement is that i need to send the work order to the main work center of the order for which the fax no of the main work center will be populate automaticall at the time of or before clicking on print/fax order in iw32, in standard scenerio i can get the fax no from partner function but in this case i do not know how to map it.

Check if these FMs helps you anyway - RH_READ_OBJECT or RP_CHECK_PERNR
I found them in include program - LCOI0F14 . Give a breakpoint in these FMs and check how they are working.
My system unfortunately dont have any service order ( or i dont know how to see that )

The Create Upgrade Evaluation Site Collections job does not send a Notification Email when the Eval Site is created. I only get a notification E-Mail that mention that a Upgrade Evaluation Site Colletion is requested and then after 27 Days that the Evla
Site will be deleted in three Days.
My Enviroment:
SharePoint Foundation 2013 Sp1 on Windows Server 2012
Exchange 2010 SP3

As I understand, you didn’t receive email generated from Create Upgrade Evaluation Site Collections timer job. While you might receive email generated from Delete Upgrade Evaluation Site Collections.
When you request an evaluation site collection, the request is added to a Timer job
which runs once a day. You will receive an e-mail message when the upgrade evaluation site is available. This might take up to 24 hours. The message includes a link to the evaluation site. Upgrade evaluation site collections are set to automatically
expire (after 30 days by default).
Please go to CA > Monitoring > Review Job Definitions, locate issue timer job and click Run Now. Then go to Job History and check if the issue job failed to run.
Also, please check if the email are received by Exchange Hub server.

What, exactly, does this mean?
Locked how? If it's passcode locked and you don't know the passcode, you don't have any choice but to restore it. -
Problem in makeing the Person Responsible field as mandatory
I am taking the following steps
spro --> plant maintenance & Customer Service --> Master data in Pm&CS --> Basic Settings --> Partners ---> Determine Partner Determination proc & Partner Funct --> Undr this am selecting the partner object as Plant Maintenance ->Change Partner button-->creating a new partner det proc as PM -->Selecting the PM and then clicking on the Partner Functions Folder-then i have selected the the check box and saved
after that i have created the maintenance order but it is not showing as a mandatory field, may i know the actual problem in thisHi,
1. If u want to make Partner as Mandatory for Maintenance Order then the config path u have given is correct and at the same time check whether that partner procedure is assigned to order type in OIOM ..
2. If ur looking for Making Person Responsible field as Mandtatory then check under field selections in config path
else u can use user exit ;- IWO10009 PM Order: Customer Check for 'Save' Event to perform validation while saving .. u can have an error message to be poped-up to fill that field filled..

Emails from the personal address list continue to be sent to junk
I have used Thunderbird without real issues for years, but after a recent update things have not gone well. Most bothersome is that it lost my junk training information. I have been reteaching the software, but it will continue to move messages from my personal contact list to Junk. It doesn't mark it as junk, it just shifts it. If I shift it back to the Inbox it can shift it back to Junk. I've got the software set to learn from my actions, and to accept any message from my personal contacts, but it does not appear to pay attention.
In case it is related (and the page suggests including more information), the software hangs regularly for 15 or 20 seconds, and takes that time too to load a message. I have compressed the mailboxes, but it didn't fix the problem. Also, when the software updated it forgot about my folders under "Mail", but I just had to re-subscribe to those to get them back.
I use Windows 7 64 bit, with Windows Security Essentials. I have no extensions enabled for Thunderbird except their usability study tool. I appear to have a surprising number of Plugins active, but these are programs on my machine not associated with Thunderbird, so I'm not sure where it is looking for those.

RandyThat sounds like an anti virus spam add-on, not Thunderbird. But Microsoft security essentials does not do spam. So you will need to look to your providers spam settings. Your account is obviously IMAP, so anything moving mail on the server will reflect in Thunderbird.

Person Responsible for Task is blocked for update in task catalogue in notification
Hi experts ,
I don't understand how come in one of my notification type, the field named "Responsible" , is open for update , however in anther notification type it is closed (the background of the field is light blue instead of white. white meaning open for update)
Both notification types consist of Task catalogue, Task sub screen, but different catalogue profile (the catalogue profile suppose to determine different catalogue code groups but nothing else)
Both notification types consist partner determination procedure which consist one identical partner function Person responsible (code: VW)
Please advice.

possible reason could be the customizing settings for the field selection in the notification. Maybe the field "Responsible" VIQMSM-PARNR is not ready for input (= only display) for the notification type you mention.
Check if the field is influenced by the notification type.

When downloading large files thay stop at approx 7 Mb.
When I download large files they stop at approx 7 Mb. They can be paused and restarted. They then carry on and will then stop at other random sizes. Repeating the pause restart enables the download to complete. What can be done to fix this? Cheers Pa
