Notification not coming in Portal

I am facing a strange problem. In my workflow, there are few mail steps, and all are working well except one. In this, I've used a Position to send mail. Mail goes in the backend SAP Inbox, and when i open the user in Portal, it is not seen in his portal inbox. I tried putting other position no, also tried other user name (US)...but the mail is just not reaching the portal. Looked for posts in SDN but couldn't find any specific to my issue. Any little help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

To get the text mail in Portal you have to use SONiC (SAP Office Notification Connector).

2 workbooks for a single query r not coming in portal.

hi experts... first of all i donno whether this question belong to bex side or portal side...
my problem is:
i have single query with 10 workbooks.
i need to embed these workbooks in our
portal(bw report iview).
my requirement is to supply URLs for all of these workbooks to portal team, so as to enable them to embed workbooks...
while im trying to generate URLs for all workbooks,
it is just generating only one same URL for all workbooks.
i found that we can generate URL only to query default view, from our BEx side..
anybody can help me that how to generate different URLs for different workbooks based on a single query.
this is not a portal issue...
i shud supply proper URLs for each workbook.
hope i can get a solution from experts...

SOST email notification not coming SBWP

Hi,
We are not getting email notifications for failed SOST messages in SBWP transaction. This is happening for emails sent through payment run Tcode F110.
When we directly send emails using SBWP tcode to incorrect email we do get notification. But for Payment run F110 emails we are not getting this notification.
SAP_BASIS is on 702 SP 10.
SAP Kernel: 720_REL

Can you check with ABAP workflow developer whether such scenario is possbile.
Standard SAP cannot provide this.

Notifications not coming to UWL

Hello All,
I have created a system object for ECC in portal and have registered the system alias for UWL as webflow connector and as alert connector.
In ECC, we have implemented new workflow. It is getting triggered successfuly from portal.
Even I can see tasks are getting populated correctly in UWL.
But I am unable to see the notificaions that are being sent by workflow. In backend these notifications are present in users inbox as documents.
How to populate these notifications in UWL?

Thanks for the reply.
Meanwhile I noticed that under Tracking, items are getting generated. When I click on View History of those items, I am able to see current status of the workflow.
Is this the way standard notifications are seen without using SONIC?

Push Notifications not coming through when in sleep mode

I recently upgraded to 3GS from 3G. I just noticed that no push notifications come through when the phone is in sleep mode. It used to work fine on my 3G. I haven't changed any network settings on my router at home. I do not use 3G data, only wifi. Is there a fix for this or does the 3GS have an issue with push notifications?

Shouldn't my iPhone at least fetch my email, if I have set it to 15 minutes. I would expect that it turns on the wifi to poll the email server for new messages. However in my situation, even when I leave my iPhone the entire night it will not once alert that there is a new message. Only when I finally wake the iPhone does it finally show up. I'll unlock the phone and then about 10 seconds later it will sound the new mail alert. So, to me that means that fetch doesn't initiate the wifi connection for some reason. Something has to be wrong.

Email notifications not coming through Gmail or Office365? ZTE Open

Since setting up both my email accounts, Gmail and Office365, I can receive and send emails but I do not get any notification that they have arrived. Th eonly way I can tell is if I go into the email app. Surely you should get a notification like all mobile OS's?

Just wanted to clarify I am using the Firefox os defualt email app.

I Can not get the notifications to come through using iOS 8.0 I had them all come thru with 7.1.2 on my old iPhone 5s. They no longer come through on the iPhone 6 plus with 8.0.2.

Order workflow notifications not coming through

It was working fine before we went live. The client got an order this morning but she got no email notification like she normally does.
Has anyone else had this problem!?

Workflows are set to the roles and people who should that that are set those roles correctly? You been through all that?
You put yourself in those roles to test if you get the emails etc?
You really need to put a bit more down on what you have tired already, what you changed before going live. Are all their emails working? Did you set the domain stuff right for their emails, pointing A-Records not full Name servers.....All that you need to check if these are the cases.
This is all guess work though because all any of us have is that you posted it does not work

Notifications not coming through until I open the apps...?

For some strange reason I am not receiving Notifcations whenever I get a message on WhatsApp or a voicemail on HulloMail. The only way I know if something has come through is if I open up the app, then the notification and badge app icon suddenly appear. Really frustrating!
I have tried deleting the apps and reinstalling them, resetting the phone, restoring from a backup...and I just can't get it to work.
Any help would be appreciated.

Same here. I don't know how to solve the problem, but I figured out a way to close the app without re-starting or resetting the phone. If you click ok and then press the home button twice really fast before the dialog box shows back up, you can put the phone in multi-tasking mode and close the app without having the shut the phone off or reset it. Anxiously awaiting the fix for this since I have several apps I use that I can access at the moment.

IOS 8 notifications not coming through

After updating to iOS 8 all my news, sport and weather notifications have stopped, even though in the notification centre it shows they are all on and the banner has been selected. Is there a reason for this should happen or is it that the apps need to be updated to allow for iOS 8?

In portal after clicking the search field of table UI popup is not coming

Hi Experts,
I have a problem in portal . In "RecordWorkingTime" when I select any search field of this table Ui it is refreshing for unlimited time period and the pop up window is not coming .
Can you suggest me any possible solution for this strange problem ?

In addition to this, we also put the trace on the application. During the trace analysis we found that the RFC: HRXSS_CAT_WD_F4_SELFLD_DEFAULT doesn't seem to get called.
Not sure what could be the issue.

Check with your system patch level both from ABAP and JAVA in the same Service Pack levels. if they are different then only we will get this type of errors. Even we i have faced the same problem, but solved with the basis help.
Have you gone through PA30, there Empl data has to be maintained. Then we can get the Data.

Try Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

Portal not coming up

HI all,
When i am trying to access the portal URL it is not coming up.But the netweaver home page is coming.Other than that no other page is coming up.
